exactly what was described

We ordered the light and the web site was clear. Ordered no problem and kept on getting emails at each stage of the despatch process. When it came to delivery day i got and email and text telling me when it is going to be delivered and options if it wasnt convenient. The only issue was the free bulb was not energy saving so no point in sending a free bulb as it is not going to be used.

Had a slight problem with my product but this was very quickly rectified by Sanjay who was extremely helpful and apologetic. Best customer service I've experienced would definitely recommend and also use again.

Order took a while, but communication was good.

At point of order was not told that stock came in from abroad, but the delivery time was stated once order was placed, and when I phoned to chase, my call was handled courteously and informatively. So I would use again, but not if I wanted something in a hurry.

It becomes very difficult for any internet based organisation out there when it comes to individual carrier companies as their incompetent drivers cannot perform a simple job! You have a scanner that clearly states 2 boxes are to be delivered and you only deliver one? And then you re-arrange delivery for the following day and they still fail to do that task, it is so annoying and frustrating for you as our customer and for us as a company who strives to do their level best at all times.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and hope that it has not it has not affected any future purchases from our company.

Good Value, Good Service.

Would definitely buy again. My only grumble is that I requested plain wrapping as it was a surprise gift but it came in a box with the product printed on the outside so surprise totally ruined :-(

ordered light fittings sanja called said could not get the fittings. really helpful sent me a picture of some other fittings. liked them ordered them instead nothing was to much bother for sanjay, cheers mate.

Can't fault the service

I ordered the Paris Half Wall Lantern and am over the moon with the product.
Ordered on the Friday and they were delivered on the Monday.
Value for money also got free bulbs.
Will definitely use again and will recommend to all.

Easy to order, quick to deliver!

Saw the ceiling lights at treble the price in a local store. Came home , went on line and saw the exact lights so I ordered them. They arrived on time, very securely packed and were easy to install. One very happy customer!

Ordered a couple of items and recd online confirmation. Subsequently got a mail advising they were checking stock levels but heard nothing more for a week. When I chased order had been overlooked and no apology was forthcoming. Items then arrived as promised but overall experience was poor

Great Service!

Ordered this light on line ! It arrived within a few days with constant emails updating the order - great service! I had a query which I asked on line and this was also answered speedily and efficiently!

First class goods and prompt courteous service

The lamps were fantastic and arrived in excellent condition the day after ordering so we were off to a good start. I always say you can judge how good a company is by the service they offer when something goes wrong and Lighting At Home wasted no time in resolving a small issue and their communication was prompt and polite. Would definately use again and highly recommend!!!!

The website is easy to use and delivery was exceptionally quick.
I received regular updates about the status of my order including a one hour timed delivery slot; why can't all companies achieve this?
Another nice touch is that all lights come with a free bulb that is automatically provided.

We have been looking for a new touch lamp for ages. Most of them in the shops were very expensive but there was nothing we really liked. I ordered one from amazon which was the first goods I have had from that were bad. I then found your web site and was delighted with the service, delivery and high quality of the lamp. I paid a very reasonable price and we loved the lamp. I have recommended you to a friend who has just moved home and needs lots of new light fittings. When things went wrong they resolved quickly

I ordered a couple of light fittings thinking 10 days was sufficient delivery time to book an electrician. They had not arrived after 8 days (no email sent to advise of delay) so contacted them. All the stops were pulled out, a complimentary set of lamps included as a sorry and I was able to re-book the electrician for a few days later. Have suggested they email customers if delivery is to be more than a week say.

I ordered a ceiling light online and had my sale confirmed immediately. As the house that the light is for is still being refurbished, I forgot about the purchase for a while (four weeks, in fact). When I remebered it, I emailed the company and got a speedy reply, with a telephone follow-up explaining the delay. Apparently, the online system had timed me out when I placed the order, but that was not visible on the site and the confirmation was posted anyhow. Learning point for me: Be speedy whenn placing an order with this company. Learning point for the company: Fix the glitch in your online system.
