Not happy at all

I always wanted to buy a Lipsy dress as they look stunning and great on the models. I brought a long dress for £75 from there for a awards dinner. It arrived in good condition and I looked after it until the event. I'd only tried this dress on once to see if it matched my shoes (wasn't on me for longer than 2 minutes) went to wear it at the dinner and the zip did up easily and then came apart at the bottom so I had a massive hole in my dress!! there was nothing I coud do! For an expensive dress it is very cheaply made. I would now not shop here again as I don't want the zip to break again hours before I want to wear it.

Don't you ever buy from their site

First, they made a mistake in sending me an wrong size item. My next order of the same item, was retuned even though I did not even received the item. What a crap! And did not even emailed or called me to clarify the problem they are dealing with my order. And this left me nothing to wear in an event and feeling of depressed and disgraced. I spent hundreds for their items and been loyal customer but treat me like I am nothing!!!!

i ordered my dress at 20.30 On a friday evening . the dress was delivered the next morning at 10.30 . brilliant service

well i placed an order on the 23 dec 13..delivery was 5-7 day's...three week's later & numerous unanswered e -mail's..i phone up to be told the top would be back in stock as in on the production line .& would be posted out . on the 27 jan 14...still no top..once again e-mail to be told the top isn''t in stock even thought they had them in stock to by on the website rom dec till mi jan..honestly do not waste your time or money they are a completely laughable company ..such a surprise for such a well know brand

deliver 10 days after the delivery given time

Well I didn't have any issue with that company, they were a delay of 10 days ( btw is was in December) but I contact them by mail and got a response the very next day, witch is pretty good!

i ordered a dress almost a month ago and haven't received it. iv sent emails asking about my dress and not once have they replied back. i shop online a lot and this is the worst online shopping experience ever!!!

Exceed my expectations

I've got a very short notice for an event so i urgently needed prom dress which could be delivered next day. These reviews, read before, really made me worry but i hardly find anything else. So i ordered the dress from lipsy at 20:50pm and at 14:00pm next day i got my dress. I was really concerned about the size as it was the first time i ordered clothes online, but it fitted nicely. Though if in doubts, i'd suggest going for a bigger size rather than smaller.
Only minus - the dress i've ordered in the picture was white, and there were no colour choice but i got nude colour dress.

Horrible Delivery Service

I ordered a dress online in early February 2013 and after 3 weeks I still had not received the package. At the end of February, I then received an email that Lipsy received my return and would be issuing me a credit refund. How can i possibly return a package I never received to begin with. I reached out to customer service with my dissatisfaction and the error. The reason provided by customer service was the post man had difficulties delivering the package. First of all, I am the queen of online shopping, so I have packages being delivered every other day to my home and i NEVER have issues. Second, I live in a doorman building and they accept my packages on my behalf. I told them I wanted the package resent because i needed the dress urgently for an event. They said there was nothing they could do, so I had to go on there an order the dress again. I swear it better be delivered this time around.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

If I could I would give them a ZERO, I would! I live in US, I ordered a blouse from this company, it arrived a month later, pacakge was COMPLETELY destroyed and the blouse damaged. I contacted the costumer service, they were absolutely useless, NEVER gave me a refund, and blamed the whole thing on the postal service. The blouse was sent in a PLASTIC BAG, who does that? DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN US, I had a terrible experience with them and after months of going back and forth, I just gave up, not worth the 80 bucks I spent on that shirt.......

Joke - still waiting for delivery, very concerned.

In this day how can it take 2 weeks for something to be delivered after it has been dispatched? Still waiting.

Is not worth it

I ordered from their webshop multiple times. Fortunately always on sale. The items are more or less worth the SALE price, not more. (I'm talking about MINIMUM 50% off). Clothes are polyesther nightmare. All shoes are fake leather for 80-100Ł full price. Joke. However most of them looks good. They are just not good quality. My last order just didn't arrive. Nowhere to be seen. Customer support never replies. Their website has lots of bugs, cannot handle the massive influx of customers, they have out of stock items on for weeks before removing them, some items are displayed as out of stock, then 5 minutes later they're in stock again, then out, then in and so on. For this reason paying is difficult, often errors encounter.
I visit their facebook pages daily, many others complaining about non-responsieve customer support. I don't reccomend the online shop. I accepted all above untill I got what I have payed for. Since last time I didn't get it, and Lipsy just doesn't give a rap on it, I do not recommend them.
Just visit the local shop instead and only at the sale.

terrible...never again.

I bought a dress few month ago.I had problems with the payment process on their website.I called customer service over 10 times,and everytime they were saying that everything was resolved...but it` was not.They made me pay 3 TIMES for the dress.It took more than 2 weeks to get the dress...I will never use Lipsy ever again.
I never experienced anything like it to purchase an item.
Not recommended.

Really bad customer service and extreemly long delivery times!

My mom ordered a dress for me for christimas on the 13th of dec. The dress was on stock and they promised to send an email when the dress was dispatched. Now on the 24th she still havn't got the email or the dress! she emailed them to find out what was going on, and they just didn't reply!!

now my mom is really sad and feel bad because the christimas gift did not arrive! There homepage said 5-7 days for delivery, yet they couldn't even manage to send a dress, THAT WAS IN STOCK, in ten days!!

and by the looking at this homepage my mom was not the only one who got treated badly.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE! It sucks!

Horrible!!!!! Serious Warning!

I have had such a bad time with lipsy!
so annoyed!

Cant even begin..

worst customer service.
goes in one ear- out the other

First- I could not even figure out how to call them from the United States- as their website does not even provide the area codes needed for people out of the country (yet the sell to us!!) - so I had to use other websites and resources to even figure out how to get them on the phone!!

Then for my purchase-

I bought this blouse and
four days later the same top is on sell-
i get a hold of them to tell them this is unfair-

and them I learn I have to PAY to return the top (obviously not cheap when coming going from US to UK) and re purchase the top on sell!

like seriously- no other website would do that.
It has not even been a week- they should give me the sell price.

After this annoyance-
I searched lipsy reviews on google-

and came across the most recent reviews that were all NEGATIVE.
Others were even asking "why is lipsy customer service so bad"

Wouldn't you think lipsy would learn to treat their customers better?!

Rubbish customer service!!

i ordered a coat at £75 which was horrible, sent it back and lipsy said they hadnt received it even though royal mail had a signed signature from them. after sending a screen shot of the signature and waiting three weeks i eventually got my refund back. I sent a lot of emails which were not replied to so in the end i had to phone them. sent a complaint email last wednesday and nearly a week later i still havnt heard back. rubbish customer service. on top of that i had to pay to return my coat! absolute rip off!! i would reccoment orderin lipsy dresses etc off next, very, places like that where you are gauranteed great service.

Loving it!

I simply just love lipsy! I have 5 lipsy dresses in my closet, all ordered from their site. Haven't had any problems with them so far! Their sizeguide is true to reality, their dresses are beautiful and I have only had great experience with the customer service!
Can recommend this to all!!

Complete joke !

Ordered a dress for new year and chose the day of delivery, the dress still hadn't arrived a week later so we phoned up to see what had happened. Turned out that the dress had been delivered to the wrong adress, We live at number 41 and dress was delivered to number 21. To make matters worse when we asked what to do they told US to go to the house to try and sort it instead of lipsy trying to deal with it. Turns out it wasn't delivered there either. When we phoned up again they told us the money had been took out of the bank for the dress already and we wouldn't get it back untill we sent a letter explaining the situation. The money won't be back in the bank till after xmas now which is a complete joke ! Totally untrustworthy site and i wouldn't reccomend it to anybody !
