I have been with Littlewoods for over 10 years, and the company's thrust seems to have completely changed.
It used to be the old fashioned 'club' catalogue I remember my mum and her friends using; buy something and pay for it, interest-free, over a set number of weeks. 'Interest-free' was an interesting term, because, of course, the purchase price was noticeably higher than you'd pay on the high street. However, it made school uniforms, bedding, nice curtains, and so forth, far more affordable and spread payments to help everyone out in a pre-credit card world.
Now Littlewoods has changed. And, no, not for the better, I think.
When I visit now, even just to browse, I get an email. "Didn't you find what you were looking for? Can we push this product at you? Oh, and we can offer you a longer payment period - at a high interest rate."
I find Littlewoods today to be more of a Bright Shop experience, where you will pay over the odds for items, and then pay interest on that too.
The web site works well. Goods usually turn up early. The returns procedure is excellent. Littlewoods still gives good basic catalogue. It's just a shame it's turned into such a credit pushing entity,
I have been a customer for about 20 years and now I have had enough ,it's really gone downhill I am talking about the rewards system I feel us customers are being treated badly as I used to look forward to my commission ,rewards then one month I noticed I didn't have what I was supposed to have and queried it and new to me apparently you cannot get rewards on sale items so i started looking through website and the majority of the items are on sale but not a good discount sometimes something as stupid as 50p just so we cannot claim reward we already pay way over the top for items so why penalise us for buying sale items,I am really annoyed about this so much that after all these years I am paying off what I owe and will not be purchasing another thing from littlewoods
i needed a new laptop as my old one broke but could no afford to pay outright, so opend a shopping acount and got 600 quid credit instantly i can now pay my laptop off over 30 weeks intrest free, fantastic service and products
with the choice and range of top name products and the competitive prices and the easy payments make Littlewoods a winner in my eyes. i don't need to go any where else for my goods. i have always enjoyed the speedy ordering . online or over the phone where the staff are so pleasant and helpful. it all makes for a pleasurable shopping experience.
I find shopping with Littlewoods really convenient, they have all the up to date gadgets, fashion and basically anything you would want for your house.
The delivery is normally the next working and day and parcels can be arranged to be left if you are out.
Would recommend shopping with Littlewoods to everyone.
Not a good experience, ordered cat on 31/7/13 I was told it would be 7 to 10 days, still not received it and it is now September, emailed customer service 4 times and each time an unrelevant answer. Discount was not applied to first order and still waiting for some items to come into stock which I no longer need.
So far I have not felt the need to return any items, they are generally top quality and affordable too. I would recommend to anyone. The delivery is always prompt and if I am not home to receive a delivery my neighbour often receives on my behalf.
When ever I am stuck for something to wear for that special occasion, you can always rely on Littlewoods. This has happened so many times to me. I have trudged around the shops, got thoroughly fed-up, only to come home, switch on the lap top and sit in the comfort of my own home, and (9 times out of 10) find exactly what I have been looking for. Speedy delivery and free returns, carry on the good work!
I have been pleased that I chose to shop from Littlewoods. The iPad I wanted was available with the only disadvantage being that it was overpriced. I love my iPad and have had no problems and use it loads. I have seen Myleene on tv modelling a red dress I may search for that now:)
i ordered two separate items under special offer.one item was pair of shoes which were manufactured in china and as such were far too narrow/tight.i was unable to order alternative item as this is not allowed/catered for.so had to return both items even though nothing wrong with second item.so i missed out on special offer which was very disappointing.surely by now this circumstance could be allowed for.
I am new to Little woods and have had no problems at all. I have found the online ordering easy, to login take seconds and with no fuss. I have only ordered a few items but have them to be of a good standard and will continue to order stuff as i require it.
I used click and collect, the place it was delivered to denied all knowledge of the parcel. Littlewoods said they would investigate and call me within 24 hours. No call.
Phoned Littlewoods today and was told they are busy with other customer queries and would get back to me within 4 days, but I could order the item again, though it would be charged a second time to my account.
I am not happy at all
the only thing which stops me from placing orders is if i have to return anything my nearest point for collection is 7mile away i dont drive which means a return taxi at a cost of £22 sometimes i have kept items which dont fit as it was cheeper than returning
GOT A QUESTION ABOUT LITTLEWOODS ..THEN JUST RING THEM PROBLEM SOLVED. ITS NEVER TOO MUCH TROUBLE , IF THEY CANT RESOLVE IT THERE AND THEN THEY GET THE RIGHT PERSON TO RESPOND ... FOR ME JUST GREAT I THANK THEM. WELL DONE LITTLEWOODS......
The terms and conditions should be easier to find on website for first time users.I was rejected my order first time round. As it wasn't explained anywhere that when ordering items over a certain amount the you have to pay first month right away. I had to phone customer service to find this out. But the customer service was very good and the girl on the phone answered all my queries very well.
Customer service is brilliant and delivery always before I expected. It has a lot of nice products but I did not liked the way I need to search. Because I needed a shelving in bedroom or bookcase to store some paperwork I could not find any at first place. Just when simply browsed through site I catched it in garden section. That was confusing. But overall I'm very pleased by my choice to use little woods
I had a good bit of commission after spending quite a lot and it was taken off me for not buying anything for a while. I was waiting till i got my balance down before spending any more. I feel like they have stolen off me and i won't be buying anything else off them.
Love the service from Littlewoods and would use more often, but I like to shop around and have never found Littlewoods cheaper they are always way way way over on price. I understand that this is why they can offer interest free options on expensive items but for everyday shopping it's not worth paying the extra for. Example;- cosatto supa pushchair Littlewoods price £240 most other places £185 that's £55 more!!! Too steep a price to pay for short term credit
Well, joined Littlewoods a few years ago and they are a great online retailer as you find everything in one place and they do designer ranges also......Delivery times quick, compared to some other online retailers and customer service very good.
Littlewoods provides me with access to the latest trends and colour palettes not only in no time at all from click to delivery but it also allows me to buy the things i really want and spread the cost to suit me. cannot shout enough from the rooftops about Littlewoods, everything i need and more. plus hands down the most helpful customer service team in UK!
I have been a customer for two years now and have never had any problems. I have had some great bargains and the service is second to none. Easy payment options and 0% interest is excellent in my opinion. Definitely recommend to all

ordered a new computer online got it sent out to me it was broken when sending it back the driver did not turn up the day of the return came the next day after I called them ordered a new computer and again driver did not turn on the day I was told had to call them again to get a new delivery date

Very happy with service from this company. Trainers for my son were in stock and delivered really quickly. Plus I had a discount code which was accepted without question which made them a really good buy. Therefore I'm happy to recommend this company.
I have been a customer of Littlewoods for many years now. I have always found them to be reliable, courteous, efficient and helpful. My orders are always prompt, and the communication is always very good if there is going to be any kind of delay. Very pleased with the service.
I both one pair of trainers which cost in that moment £20.00. I received other pair of trainers one week later, when the one which I wanted was £35.00 already. And any way, for I don't know which reason, this company rejected my option to be their customer.
