After my first purchase from Littlewoods I went to buy some more clothes for my son. The promotional code I had from my bounty pack wouldn't work, I've had to contact customer services about it and they are being incredible slow on resolving my issue. I had to contact them about my first purchase as no discount was applied. I do feel that they have let me down as a customer and I am very reserved about using them again.
The customer call centre is appalling - I've been trying to close my account since mid December, to be told I had to wait for my January statement. That rolled round, and I was told I had to wait for my Feb statement. They hadn't updated my credit file in 2 months to even show I had paid the account in full. Having just took out a mortgage, where one of the conditions was to clear off my credit accounts, this was ridiculous and was getting me in trouble with the bank.
I then asked to make a complaint - to be told the complaints department don't take calls from customers and I had to write in. No, email wasn't acceptable either. Nor could I speak to a manager, or the credit file department unless I hung up and dialled another number because the call centre don't make outbound calls even to put you through to another department.
Utterly ridiculous and appalling customer service from a company with extremely overpriced and poor quality goods. Don't bother.
Ordered an item on the 23rd Jan, on a three day delivery, told it was instock, did a track on this item on 27th Jan only to find that the delivery date was now up to the 24 Feb. No email from Littlewoods informing me of this delay or why. When I phoned up to find out what was going on I was told by a uphelpfull disinterested customer service person "thats how it is" more or less take it or leave it. If its out of stock or low stock when you order it tell us don't leave us expecting delivery when it its not going to turn up when you expected it. Totally dusgusted with the service. I've gone elsewere and got a guaranteed delivery for Wednesday 29th Jan.
FOR THREE WEEKS I HAVE EMAILED, WRITTEN, AND PHONED littlewoods REGARDING A PROBLEM WITH TWO BIKES WE BOUGHT THROUGH THEM. DESPITE PROMISE AFTER PROMISE OF A RETURN CALL WE STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM. THEY ARE TOTALLY IGNORANT AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. I AM FUMING! ON TOP OF ALL THAT THEY CHARGE A PREMIUM RATE NUMBER FOR YOU TO CONTACT THEM. STAY AWAY FROM LARGE ITEMS WITH THIS AWFUL, IGNORANT, MONEY GRABBING COMPANY.
Just started using Littlewoods. I find the delivery excellent, next day service. Returning items is so easy and you get an automated telephone call confirming returned items arrived safely. Peace of mind and great service.
Littlewoods catalogue. Has some brilliant sales! easy return policy. With the collect plus option, website well easy to use! If u have an issue with anything the staff are very helpful over the phone some things are slightly. Expensive. That's catalogues. For you, overall. They are a good catalogue. Company ;-)
Ordered a bed it was delivered by arrow xl,I said to the guys that they could leave it on my landing. I'm glad I did so now as one of the guys walked oil and dirt all through my hall which is a new carpet as is the cream one in my bedroom. I pointed this out to one of the delivery guys that it looked like he had mud on his feet,and had walked foot prints though my hall. His response was"well it's not me,I've got nothing on my feet" ...no apology or nothing,he didn't give a monkeys. It's quite obvious to me now it's not mud it's oil of some kind,and I've not gonna have put it there myself. Basically there is no point spending money on home improvements and getting anything off littlewoods cos their guys will ruin it. I will order nothing off them no more. I'll go somewhere else.
Because of my stupidity, I was late with the payment in December. I wanted to bay it as soon as possible so I emailed Littlewoods to ask if I will make a payment now, will I be charged this amount again? I was told ' no, your next bill date is in January' I thought great, and paid the due amount. On the 16th of December 2013 I was charged the same amount again. I will let you know that in 10 days I paid nearly £500 even though I was supposed to pay only half of it. My bank overdraft was exceeded because of this. I rang Littlewoods for a refund just to be told that they can't do it and I have to ring my back. I rang my back they said I have to ring Littlewoods. I rang Littlewoods again and finally someone refunded me that £246.60, and she said that it will show on my account in 10 working days. I checked my account after the Christmas and New Year, which together was 13 working days and I emailed Littlewoods again. I found out that the refund wasn't even made and I had to give my card detail once again !!! RIDICULOUS!!! The money came to me finally. But I decided I will check my Littlewoods account, next bill date is for tomorrow and it's only £55.84, I usually get charged £150 a month. Again I wrote to Littlewoods to investigate this because I dont want to be charged stupid amount again. I found out I will be charged £302 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been late with paying anything, I was very careful as I am saving !!! I rang Littlewoods straight away but was told he can't go into my account and I have to ring 0845... tomorrow morning, and tomorrow morning is the bill date so £302 will be with Littlewoods and God knows if this money will comeback to me! I really have no idea why it is £302 instead of £150, I haven't bought anything extra I wasn't late with the payment !!!! I hate littlewoods with all my heart !!!!!!!!!!
The shopping experience with Littlewoods could not be any better, web site was easy to use and navigate through, from browsing right up to purchasing, I was informed by email at each stage of order conformation and deliveries etc. The issue was the delivery company who delivered it 4 days later than the time I was told I would, at the latest, receive my order. Good job littlewoods, crap delivery job, whoever the company was!
Spoke to customer service twice over items which I returned,which was recharged to my account twice, the last person i spoke to was from a call centre abroad was so rude, put me of from shopping from this company again,
Everything i ordered arrived quickly and even though i was at work they were left in a secure place, I was amazed at how easy it was to return an item that did not fit me, dropping it off at a local petrol station. I have had no problems at all with any of my orders and look forward to shopping in the future
Iv totally fell in love !! The whole shopping experience is amazing and the products are to die for ! Some people may not like this way of shopping but for the majority of us that want nice things and don't have the money there and then to splash out on shopping trips even when saving to get nice things more important things come above splashing out on yourself...however shopping with littlewoods has been a fab way to get what I want and need without feeling guilty ! I can afford the payments and safely shop and buy great presents too !! Thank You so much!
I ordered a new bed and was really pleased when you rang to arrange delivery a fortnight earlier than I expected. We got up early (I'm disabled and my husband works late nights) and waited today... Guess what no bed.... the delivery men reckoned they'd come here and I'd moved!!! How stupid do they think I am? Order a bed £400+ and have it sent to a house I've left!! I live up a terrace and I know what they've done, they drove into my road saw number 7 and didn't bother to look at the rest of my address. They ****ed up and try to blame me. Am I happy? Am I hell as like. By the way I've lived here nearly 30 years

Firstly and most importantly is that you can shop for all of your family and friends,and all in the same place,none of this swapping to other sites because the range isn't diverse enough to compete with most peoples likes and dislikes,because Hello?!!...just check out the brands that Littlewood's carry,you'll be amazed! Is it too much hassle?...No! Just click on A to Z of Brands. You even earn cash rewards by having an account which you can use towards a purchase and there are plenty of different ways to pay, whether by cash,a personal account,and if you so wish you can also opt to pay for your purchases with help from 'Buy now pay later' over 6mnths or a year! You can still pay in the old fashioned way too. Catalogue shopping has really moved up in the shopping world,whether you're shopping online or from the catalogue. It's providing you with lots of choice without all the leg work of running to that designer shop and then having to move onto the next and the next. There's now no need, as you can get all those big names in one place! But it's not all expensive designer ranges either,so don't be put off by thinking that! I had a look through the Beauty section over Christmas and was surprised to see high street brands of make up like BarryM products,and still at their usual affordable prices. Bourjois is another make up brand along with many others you'll recognise,and that was just at a glance through that particular section, which resulted in a few stocking fillers being purchased along with a few extras for me too,haha! Delivery is fantastic too,couriers are friendly and items arrive when the emails tell you they're going to. I have items delivered by courier and if I have any returns they usually get dropped off at our closest Collect+ shop! Again,Littlewood's have made collect+ an easy to use service and it's quick to find a shop close to you that offers it,just by logging onto 'my account' and entering your postcode,it will show you several options in your area. If you don't want to wait in for a delivery or for a courier to collect any returns, then you again have the option of collect+ so you can pick up your own parcels from the same place at a time that suits you. For those last minute purchases there's always next day delivery too for a small charge, I used this at Christmas and even at that really busy time they didn't let me down and never have! Just have a 'little look',I'm more than sure you'll be very,very surprised!
I bought the above unit in February last year. It became faulty in November of last year.Under its guarantee a firm from York took it away for repair and have had it ever since with no apology as to what is happening and I find this unacceptable behaviour. Please do something about this for me or I will take the matter further. M R Scott
