If I could give the company 0 stars I would

This company has a lot of hidden language that makes the customer loose big time when they are choosing to return. I had purchased a bundle of website, logo and business cards and as I started having issues, decided to cancel the website and business cards. Well, they take their fee, even if the order was not even started by anyone, which was about $150 or so. As you can imagine, I was very unhappy. The logo turned out ok, but it was definitely not worth the $300 I paid with all of their “hidden” fees. BEWARE, and know that their customer service leaves much to be desired. I contested the charges to no avail. This happened around 9/2012.

Satisfied

I learned of Mycroburst from a friend who had great success with the site so I decided to give it a try for my business. I would say that about 50% of the designs that were submitted were less than appealing, but fortunately, the remaining 50% totally exceeded my expectations. I am completely satisfied and excited about my new logo. Overall, I would recommend Mycroburst to friends.

Definitely Would Not Recommend

I recently used Logo Guru (Mycroburst) in an attempt to create a new logo for my business. Until now I have done my own design work, but as my business was growing and my skills and time are limited I decided to seek the services of professional designers. Logo Guru appeared to offer a simple and effective solution and the money-back guarantee and apparent UK base reassured me that they was a good choice. However, having now gone through the process I feel very disappointed with the quality of the designs I received and also their unprofessional service and misleading website.

First of all, within minutes of setting up the logo contest I was contacted by telephone by Logo Design Guru staff from the US despite it being late at night UK time. They tried to persuade me to increase the prize fund offered even though I had set it up at the level recommended on their website and they also tried to persuade me to make my contest 'guaranteed' which would mean that I had to pay the full fee even if I didn't receive a satisfactory logo. I declined on both counts.

I submitted a detailed brief clearly stating what I wanted, but was immediately disappointed when I started to receive designs as most did not follow my brief and showed very little skill or effort. I spent a lot of time communicating with the designers in an attempt to steer them towards what I was looking for, but it was very difficult as it became clear that the individuals were not 'designers' at all and some did not even speak English very well. In most cases the same designs would just be re-sent, but with small irrelevant changes. I since discovered that absolutely anyone can sign up as a designer in just a few seconds with no requirements for qualifications, skill or experience whatsoever.

In the end I decided to give up and request a refund under the terms advertised on their website, but was annoyed to discover that deep in their terms and conditions page is a clause stating that they will take $50 of the prize fund in addition the their $40 service charge so I ended up paying out $90 and wasting a lot of time and getting nothing in return. I expressed my views to the Mycroburst customer service advisor and he initially agreed to refund the additional $50, but later changed his mind..

To summarise, the company has no UK presence, the 'designers' I encountered were mostly unskilled, unprofessional and non-english speaking. . In addition, their customer service staff try to push you into spending (losing) more money and their refund policy is not what it appears to be.

Exceeded my expectations. Great design talents.

I had no idea where to start with a new logo for my start up firm. After reviewing some of the other projects, I was quickly enthused about the designers. The process is easy and it allows you to give feedback to the designers and communicate with the designers about changes and preferences, which I did.

I received a high volume of designs, most of which were very well done. There were many designers that created unique logos and made changes based on my feedback. It was very difficult to choose a winner because so many of the logos were excellent. Based on the quality I received, I felt the price was very economical.

Logo design: artistic, helpful, so many to choose from, graphic artists extraordinare they "got" my branding concept and gave me a beautiful perfect logo!!!

The most enjoyable, fun, fruitful experience I have ever had with a design group. Unbelievable responses to my posting for a logo, requests for additional changes responded to quickly, every artist continued to deliver beyond my expectations. This process to me is the only way to go, I gave up my control need to people that graphically could express my brand. I loved the investment structure, my ability to reward these wonderful artists and the end process of receiving the logo in different versions, with the colors and fonts being defined for me. I LOVE my log and have had nothing but compliments. YOU are rockstars, I have sung your praises over and over.

A streamlined, efficient process for Companies looking for Ad Hoc Design

Great Support Team. Why would anyone use one design company when you can have several heads working on your design. The prize money is reasonable and you can get some real creativity flowing. We've used them twice, no hesitation in using them again. Beats the competition as far as other similar sites are concerned.

Great design in a great turn around!

I actually visited logo design guru because a friend, who had recently used the company was so happy with thier results. I immediately began a project, and although I was not the most tech savy with communicating, I ended up with a fantastic logo!

This is the third logo I've done with Mycroburst and every time it's great.

This site has you create a contest, and designers from around the world compete to design your logo or website, they compete for your business. Easy, painless, and effective. I've used it three times now, and will use them again.

Great Selection of Submissions and Great Quality of Work

After looking at several logo creation sites, I found Mycroburst.com on a review site where they were rated at the top. The site is very easy to use and very quick to begin a contest. My contest received 137 submissions that we all quality work with none looking like a beginners work. I did not have a lot of time to rate each submission as probably would have been more helpful, but of the submissions that I reacted to, all made changes in answer to my comments. I would definitely use Mycroburst again!

For once, a company that finally delivers on what it promised.

The people at LogoDesignGuru were very helpful, also answered my questions and made valuable suggestions. As this was the first time I went shopping for a logo, I found LogoDesignGuru an excellent resources.
In addition, I finished the contest with 110 different drafts. The selection was consisted of great designs and colors. The designers responded very quickly to any recommendations I provided in my feedback. In the end, the quality of the logos was so great, that it took my group three days to narrow down the selection to find a winner.

What a great site!

Best Site for Creative Creatures!

I feel mycroburst or LogoDesignGuru is a wonderful portal for creative designer to come up with their creativity. The donation initiatives for designers and properties like veild projects make the portal unique and more comfortable for designers. The jury or the project holder's active participations is another exciting property of the portal. The support team is very supportive and caring for designers. I think many more properties like these makes the portal the best.

I am so proud of my new logo for my new company "buzzpro.com." Logodesignguru.com has amazing to work with. One thing that really worked for me was when I opened up the project so other designers could see the designs. This really helped the designers see what I was trying to accomplish with my brand. when the first time i was winning the project in mycroburst, i was very happy. but i felt so fear, and i asked to mycrobust team, when i will recived the money, and then he said you will recive your payment in 20th of June.and in 20th of June, Really-Really excellent i have been recived the payment in my PayPal account on 20th of June. But i have problem with my paypal account, MY ACCOUNT PAYPAL WAS LIMITED AND BE DENIED. And I ASKED TO PAYPAL, BUT NO RESPONS, NOTHING. I'll stay with Mycroburst (Logodesignguru)

I'm working with Mycroburst (Logodesignguru) for a half year now. Before I worked on a russian contest sites. Logodesignguru has much more projects compared to russian sites as well as exellent service. I'm very pleasent their treatment to each designer, just like a neighbor fellow, no matter how far we are. Especially I want to mention here Zach Johnson and Alex Roman, whom I could contact like a friends.
I think one more advantage of this company is that they sends money to designers via Western Union also. Which attracts many designers from the world wide where Paypal is not supported. Me for instance:)
I'm sure in one thing, as long as I'm designer I want to stay with Mycroburst (Logodesignguru)!

Everything went as expected

I came in hoping they would provide a service that was "as-described" and it was. I got a lot ideas and everything was in place so I could communicate with the designers to get my design like I wanted.

Easy, lots of designs and great result

My first crowd sourcing project was through logodesigngury.com. I am extraordinarily happy with my logo, I was able to work closely with the designer and make several revisions before getting my final design. Some logos submitted did not have anything to do with my design brief and there were some also that were very simplistic and seemed to have little thought behind them. All in all there were a lot of great choices. I wish that there was some more training on how to star choices (and what designers think when you star someone else's design) as well as the process of how many days you will actively receive creative and new designs as well as the difference and pros and cons of private vs public contest. I have learned all these things through the process and will probably use logodesignguru.com on my next business venture. Thumbs up!

Great Designs, Large Quantity and Fast Service

This site helped my business a lot with our logo. They were very responsive and the site was easily accessible. The designs were great and the artists were all very helpful and easy to work with. logo design

I had an idea what i wanted when I started a design project with LogoDesignGuru (Mycroburst). Within a couple days I started getting designs and was super excited to start revising the submitted logo designs. I had a good number of designs by the end of the campaign, some good and some clearly didn't read my project brief. But in the end it was hard to decide, I am pleased with the final design and will be using the logo selected for a number of marketing projects.

High Quality and Perfection

When I started to do my project with DesignGuru, I was very indecisive. After starting my project, within 2 days I was very impressed. Almost 78 different variation within 3 days and 230 within 6 days. All were highly impressive, I would have selected them all if selecting a brand wasnt so singular.

I highly recommend this company and what they put forth.

Worth it

It is what you would expect if dozens of random designers suddenly sent you concepts. Some were good, some were not. In the end, I did get a design that I am pleased with and was worth the price.

However, I did feel like the pricing structure does try to nickel and dime you.

I have been working with logodesignguru (MycroBurst) as a designer for over a year now and I am really glad to have found this crowdsourcing site . I must say, as a designer I really like working with this team . The staff are really friendly and helpful . They take the time to hear, and take care of our concerns in a prompt and discreet manner while giving the designers great design suggestions.

I have worked on many projects with Mycroburst and i must say this is a great place to learn , and to receive some awesome designs in many genres while creating some great relationships with other designers ( like my many friends from the MycroBurst Facebook group ) and staff alike. I work as freelancer in Graphic Design on LogoDesignGuru. I find the overall user interface of LDG website very impressive. You can browse and manage your projects in very efficient manner. Also the Design brief of projects is very well written, easy to understand. Interaction among designer and Project Holder is very smooth. LDG team is very active in dealing copyright and copying issues. And finally the wrap up of projects is also very smooth and there are various options available such as Paypal, Western Union etc. to get paid for your won projects.
