It was an experience to visit London and to enjoy the sightseeing. LondonPass made it cheaper to visit the sights and opened completely new way of being a tourist.
P.S. I wish that opening hours are longer, so one can visit more in one day! I think that Beefeaters would not like that :)
We crammed a lot into our three day pass, and visited some places that we would have otherwise overlooked. However, travelling from one end of London to the other was very time consuming and we frequently had to leave a venue after only a cursory visit in order to arrive at the next one before it closed.
The pass is good for "first time tourists" but personally I prefer to view the many attractions that London has to offer at a much slower pace in order to savour them one at a time.
I would recommend the London Pass to everyone, who would like to see many sights in little time. I planned to see lots of sights in London and was able to see even more of them - thanks to the London Pass. It is very easy to travel around and find sights nearby with the little book that comes with your London Pass.
Whenever I plan to go on sight seeing tours I watch out for the "City Pass".
I was very satisfied with New York Pass and London Pass so far.
Can't wait to try out the Paris Pass! :-)
With the london pass we win money and time. it's very well explained and easy to use.
Fazit: Unbedingt empfehlenswert!!!
I would give five stars but my London Pass came with a seven day travel card that got demagnetized on the first day and it was impossible to get changed. Finding an tube employee each time to get in and out of the tube, dozens of times was rather time wasting. I don't know what the solution would be though, but the seven day travel card seems very flimsy for something that is meant to be heavily used and reused. Cheers.

If you want the full tourist experience of London, save yourself some time and money by getting this pass. You will be able to see thing you might not have planned on, that may turn out to be some of your vacation highlights.
I have been to London twice and purchased the London Pass both times. Not only is it an excellent value, but gives you the very best of London with a single card! I would absolutely advise anyone thinking of visiting London to make the London Pass an essential part of their trip!!
I booked from Brazil, had no problems picking it up and using in several attractions. Would definitely recommend as you can save money and it is also very convenient to know you don't have to buy tickets for every single attarction.
My wife and I recently visited London for a few days and used our London pass to its full advantage. Having the ability to hop onto trains without worrying about which type of ticket to buy; wandering all over London and darting into museums and attractions with our card as our ticket; and using the guide book for information and to see all that we could possibly see was a fantastic advantage. We almost ALWAYS saved a considerable amount of money each and every day, so i would recommend this pass to any one visiting London.
For the most part the event passes worked fine, however we were given incorrect underground/bus passes for the last day of our trip. Instead of an all day pass we received a one way pass for that day's travel.
We did not realize that the passes were different until we attempted to return to our hotel. At that time we discovered that our transportation passes were invalid, we had to pay an extra 8.50lb to get home.
We had to leave for the airport early the next morning and could not go to the London Pass office. I tried unsuccessfully several times to contact London Pass via email to get reimbursed for the incorrect passes. I provided scanned images of the passes we received and, also, of the passes we were forced to purchase.
No one from London Pass ever responded to my emails to even apologize for the extra expense and hassle, much less reimburse us for the extra passes.
If you're Adam and Even and you were shown the Garden of Eden for the first time, you would feel the same way with the London Pass as you would to the keys to paradise if you're seeing London for the first time. The London Pass allowed for unlimited exploration of the city without the hassle. With this pass, you will see beautiful historical landmarks scattered all over the city in a shorter time by taking the tube because you have endless rides. The museums hold more beautiful artwork than you could possibly soak into. I would recommend this pass anytime to anyone. If I was going back to London I would still get this pass. Do not miss out on a smooth relaxing vacation with the London Pass.
We were in London for a brief 3 day visit before our Viking River Cruise in Europe!
I had purchased 7 adult London Passes before our trip. I am new to the London Pass and didn't know how it worked. On the first day we tried to use it only to discover that the date on out pass was the expiration date and not the start date. We were confused and didn't know what to do, using our funds to see the sites of London and hoping to recoup the cost of the 7 LP when we got home. No luck, just wasted a boat load of money on LP that we could not use! Never again!!!!!
We've been to London twice, both times using London Pass with the transportation option. Even on a visit shorter than a week, we found the London Pass to be terrific.
The transportation option was especially great because we could board any bus or train easily without having to fumble for currency. And it was good at all the major sites we wanted to see.
Once we got the hang of it, the London Pass was well worth it. Be sure and read all of the information explaining its use. Then read the information on each sight seeing stop so that you will know where to go and how to avoid lines with your pass. Enjoy!
Hi, I bought the London Pass last year for a trip for myself and my son. The process of purchasing the passes was very simple and I invested in the non-use insurance for a bit extra. Now, the form for this extra insurance said that this was a no questions asked, straight forward refund if you do not use the passes at all.
As things turned out, our weekend took a completely different path than was planned and we ended up not using the passes at all. I thought "Oh that's fine, I'll just apply for the refund and everything will be fine". I got back to Dublin and went onto the website to see what the process was for the refund. I was told that I needed to send both tickets to an address in England somewhere and that once received, my credit card would be refunded, minus a 4.5% insurance fee that I had paid. So off I sent the tickets, after noting down the individual ticket numbers and validation dates and then I waited. And waited. And waited. I then sent off an email to London Pass to see what thehold up was and got a response to say that they had no record of the tickets being received. I had put all the ticket details on my email so I requested that they cancel those numbers and refund me my money. I was told that the refund would only happen when they received the tickets over in England. Several emails later and a couple of months and still no refund. Eventually I received a refund after chasing and chasing but I found the whole process to be unbelieveably stressful. The tickets are supposed to be electronic, as in, they are assigned to each person when they purchase them and are only activated when swiped at the first attraction, so why, when someone claims a refund, can these tickets not be electronically checked to see if they have been used and if not, cancel them and give the refund?? Anyway, that was my stressful experience with London Pass and I don't think that I will be purchasing them again
London Pass was really useful for me! I also earn money!!
I purchased a 3 days + transports London Pass and I really appreciated it ! I planned my visits in order to avoid wasting time in the transports ! It was worth it but I had to walk fast to do enough visits to make it profitable !
I recommend it for people who want to visit the monuments and only this, it's not really compatible with a romantic stay but very convenient !
This was our third trip and our third London Pass. I can't imagine travelling without it. It makes everything easy, no matter what area you are in there is something near by that it can be used for and even after 3 visits we still have things that we haven't got to. It allows you to sight see then chose places to visit on a whim as most attractions are covered.
The London Pass is fantastic we had no problems getting into any of the places. I would recommend visiting Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St Paul's Cathedral an the Tower of London.
I just purchased our 2 day London Pass yesterday online on their website for a group of 7 people . Received a confirmation e-mail. ALL OK. then today I got another e-mail saying "Unfortunately the transaction has failed our authorisation procedures and therefore has had to be cancelled.
If you have a voucher please destroy it as it is no longer valid. Your Credit Card has been refunded."
I called up the costumer service helpline, the girl was very helpful and polite, and confirmed that my purchase has been cancelled but cannot give me any reason, as its the order from their head office. When i asked about the refund I was also told that it was done this morning but she cannot confirm by when will i get it back in my account.. She was also not able to give me any details about the refund.( i asked for the refund confirmation transaction number). i told her there is no reason on my end as to why it should not have gone through as all my details are correct, and i have also spoken to my bank, and they have confirmed that my account has been charged correctly. The only reason i can think of is that i used a PROMO CODE which was accepted correctly at the time of purchase, to get a discount. But yet again she was not ready to accept or deny that this could be the reason for canceling my purchase...Now i have no option but to wait for my refund and to buy the Passes directly when we are in London at the FULL PRICE. i have to say that its very bad customer service. i have no problem that they cancelled my purchase, but i do expect to know WHY was it cancelled?? I would recommend all not to use any promo codes or buy online to avoid getting your money blocked. Hope my experience is helpful to all future buyers..
