I made a complaint about next day delivery not being next day, and I was greeted with persistent quoting of store policy. The Customer Service Rep did not take anything i said into account, even tried to blame their delivery company. They charged me next day delivery and proceeded to post the package as standard delivery. I sent them a picture of the package with these details, and they persisted to dispute it. There was a strong sense of 'i can do no wrong' on the part of the company. I'm very surprised by this, as the service in the shops is usually fantastic.
Al jaren ben ik bekend met de producten van Lush, allemaal even heerlijk.
Afgelopen kerst had ik een flinke bestelling in de sale gemaakt, het totaalbedrag was iets meer dan 80 euro. Omdat het na de kerst altijd erg druk is, maakte ik me niet zo'n zorgen dat het even duurde voordat mijn bestelling verstuurd werd. Na 2 weken toch maar een mailtje gestuurd, en het bleek dat ze mijn bestelling "vergeten" waren. Dit werd onmiddellijk (heel erg) goed gemaakt: Mijn bestelling werd alsnog in orde gemaakt en dezelfde dag nog verstuurd. Maar daarbij werd het complete orderbedrag terug gestort! Vanwege de "overlast". Dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt, mijn complete bestelling wordt dus gratis aan mij geleverd.
Waar vind je dit soort service nog? Fantastische producten en een waanzinnige klantenservice! Top!
always enjoy shopping in store here when i have the money, my skin loves it but not so much my bank balance. having said that, you get what u pay for and lush stuff always lasts ages and seems to do the trick.
Ok so I adore pretty much all of lush products.. However this review is about how it is run and how nothing is being done about it. There is a growing list of problems that the owners of lush are not addressing and it should and will be taken to trading standards... These include Countless broken items in their gift boxes Countless broken items from mail order A make up range bought out that in nearly every pot the applicator falls into the pot never to be seen again! And very expensive Paper bags that brake and fall apart especially if a little damp But the biggest let down is the LEAKING BLACK BOTTLES OF PERFUME...now I have never ever owned a leaking perfume bottle not ever..that is until I bought lush..OMG so many leaky bottles and lost bottles now.. This is not in and lush need to get their big heads out of the dark place and see what's going on here! Underweight products in the gift boxes.. The list goes on.. This company should not be allowed to be run like this..and to be perfectly honest I'm sick to death of having to ring or email mail order for them to sort out yet another complaint..(and why should I stop buying their bombs or bubble bars? I adore them) its the management I hate.. They claim to be a cruelty free company and enviiromental friendly too, however with all the items they have to resend due to bad packaging I'm wondering how friendly they actually are?
Jeg elsker lush og deres produkter! Har både lotions, shampoo, balsam, body scrub you name it, fra Lush! Iøvrigt tester firmaet ikke på dyr, og det er et stort point i min bog! Jeg kan anbefale at købe fra den engelske (co.uk) side istedet for den svenske, for selvom Sverige er vores tætte naboer så tager de næsten 200 kr for at sende produkter til Danmark, hvor imod at hvis du køber fra den engelske så betaler du 47 kr (alt efter kurs)
Lush is a great company producing good quality, 'hand made' ( though mass produced) bath and body products. They are generally excellent in handling complaints but they seem to treat some customers better than others, I have had issues with their attitude but know of others who they have gone out of their way to reimburse and compensate/. The quality of the products does vary which is difficult with the items being so costly but generally they are very good and they do not test on animals and source their ingredients ethically which does push the price up. All I would say has lost them a s tar is inconsistent quality of their products and sometimes rather off putting customer services if you have to contact them with a problem.
We always have to visit shop when in town shopping. Some of their stuff is over priced for what you get, this is why I have not given 5 stars. Daughter always comes away with something so if she is happy i'm happy. Staff are pleasant and helpful explaining the products. Drop your prices and you will be tops.
The products are great. (overpriced when you consider the amounts of actual expensive ingredients in a typical item). But twice I have had an issue with the delivery of items ordered online. I order online because I usually prefer the subtlety of the retro lush products compared to the over-scented and over-priced store stuff. The first time my order did not arrive to my address in the expected 5 working days so I let them know and the customer service via email was great, they sent out the item again with no fuss. The second time I ordered, the same thing happened. No item, no calling card from the postie. I felt uncomfortable complaining a second time and my email was received somewhat frostily. I did ask why there seemed to be a problem delivering to my address so I could ask my neighbours if it was likely they've been stealing my post. But they did not give any advice. This means I am now very reluctant to order online from Lush as I doubt the package will arrive and i will have to go through the whole awkward process again. :(
Lovely presentation of the shops and smells amazing. The staff are very helpful and informative, although sometimes too helpful when you are just wanting a brouse!! Overall good quality products and great gifts for friends and families. However, I wish some items were a little cheaper!!
i think their items need a warning that peanuts are used alot in some of their other products! and since theyve told me its all produced in a small open factory i can understand why my 5 year old was scratching at his swelling face in the bath. poor show lush
Products are lovely. The bubblegum lip scrub is wonderful. We had a kids party at the local store and the staff were fabulous. A couple of the children had nut allergies, and the staff had complete ingredient lists for all products. They also run competitions during holiday times, so you stand a chance to win lots of lovely goodies.
Det er bare super side med fantastiske produkter! Jeg bruger selv ikke andet end deres sæbe. Plus det er perfekt gave til nogen som helst - folke blevet så lykkelige når de får en velduftende gave fra Lush. Dog forsendelse kan være liiidt for dyrt - derfor jeg bestiller meget af gangen så jeg kunne nøjes ved at bestille kun 2 gange om år. Men det skal da prøves - så bliver man forelsket med det samme. :)
I have got so many of my friends and family changing their everyday products which contain so many unrecognizable chemical ingredients in them to lush products. It cuts down on the high concentration of chemicals within the body and helps the environment not only with less packaging but with great advise and help to recycle what little packaging you do use in the process. I am so glad there is a shop like Lush that has many branches widespread over the UK as there aren't many companies that are eco friendly and use natural products as well as working towards increasing awareness of issues and ethics across the world.
I ordered some products from Lush a few years ago. While most products I ordered arrived within a few days, I had to wait a little longer for their face masks to be delivered because they are freshly made and are delivered separately from the other products. Another thing I like about the Lush online store is that they are environmentally friendly with their packaging. They used to use popcorn to cushion the products in the parcel box, but now they use 'eco-flo,' a material made of potato strch that disintergrates when run under water.
Overall I am pleased with the service provided by Lush online and I am also impressed with their ecological delivery packaging. 4/5.
