I booked this service but would not book it again! The flight was advanced by one hour days before, and I sent emails to advise and called twice to get them to confirm the change by email - but got not reply. In the end that bit worked ok, they had personnel to collect the car one hour earlier, but I had also paid for a car wash and guess what .... they didn't do it! I called and was told to send an email and the money would be refunded. I sent two emails but no reply! Pretty poor show .....
We as family found Luton Meet&greet not great!for the extra money you pay for this service,i would have at least expected door to door service.As for please check over your vehicle!,How can this be done in a carpark with no lighting!!
We unfortunately had a tyre blow-out on the way to the airport and missed our flight. We phoned the meet and greet team, who were so happy to help us in anyway they could. We had to get another flight the next day and had to bring another car - all of which they changed without any fuss (but most importantly it was done free of charge and with compassion after our trauma). I would recommend them to everyone flying out of Luton. Thank you.
I've used this service twice now and will definitely use again, each time I fly from Luton. It takes the stress out of traveling for me... I'm useless at finding airport car parks and the car parks within Luton Airport are at least 4 miles away from the terminal building with buses only running every 20 minutes! I find Lutonmeetandgreetparking good value for money, the short stay car park where you meet is only a short walk from departures/arrivals and the service is friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended!
None of the numbers on the email confirmation we were sent or the card we were given at departure were correct or answered. Only after extensive ringing on the duty manager number was the call answered. Then in freezing conditions we had to wait 30 minutes for the return of the car - not ideal when you have children. The pick-up point for the car is quite a walk, plus you then have to fish around for money to get out of the car park as the company do not fund departure of the car park. Staff spoke little clear English and were rude. Would never, ever use again or recommend to anybody. Avoid at all costs.
Instructions on the day did not match what was said online; directions on the day were not clear; the meeting point is a long way from the terminal; the 'Welcome' text arrived about 10 hours after landing and we had to wait about half an hour for the car to be returned upon return.
The company gave misleading information on their confirmation email - when we rang through to say we had arrived at Luton, this turned out to be another company entirely that had acted as the agent and could not help us at all. Then they did not call back when eventually we found the "Duty Manager's" number for a good 40 mins. Will not use again.
On the confirmation email the number we were asked to phone turned out to be an office phone, only manned during office hours and which neither took a message nor offered an altnernative, out of office hours number to phone. We were on the point of giving up and parking (at great expense!) in the mid term carpark when I had a final search through the paperwork and found a mobile. This was immediately answered and we found each other in the short term car park. However we were then running 20-30 minutes behind and the whole experience was very stressful! I believe the message on the landline has been updated - but I heartily advise other travellers to do what I had been thinking about doing, but had failed to do - which is to try the numbers in advance of leaving for the airport when using a new service. Once we found each other, the service operated efficiently - I can only hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!
As we pulled into the mid parking area because we were early, we called the meetandgreet service. The gentleman met us within 8 minutes at the short-term parking meet/greet area! We were very satisfied how quickly we turned over our vehicle, and took our luggage straight into check in. When returning from our trip, we gathered our luggage, and we contacted the service that we were ready for pick-up. The gentleman returned our vehicle at the short-term parking, and we were on our way home! We personally encourage anyone especially with a family to use this service. If you are a single traveler, this is an excellent service, too!!!
Even though we were diverted to Stanstead due to fog at Luton our driver, who should have finished his shift at 1am waited for us until 3am when our coach delivered us back to Luton. First class service as usual, thankyou Luton meet and greet
was surpised on my return to have to pay a£1 for exit as informed by the driver ( not made clear on documentation) - in other airports this verification of the exit ticket has been done by the driver - is it a scam?
As a regular user of meet and greet services at luton airport im proud to say luton meet and greet parking are one of the best, the staff are friendly, the website is easy to make a bookings. overall a pleasant experience every time i travel from luton
