I tend to like shopping online, especially when I can't get to the store. It helps to read carefully the description of items and I also enlarge to see details. The helps to decide I want to buy the item or not. The few times I did have to return an online, I have been able to do so with ease in the store. In store the employees definitely make me feel that I am important to them.
I just got back from Macy's and I shop there for everything. I just bought some fragrances and sheets. I would recommend Macy's to all my friends for everyday shopping. I especially like hitting up the clearance rack for some great deals.
My family and I are Michael Kors fans, and we have bought several handbags at Michael Kor's stores. It just so happened that this Christmas we bought Michael Kors handbags at Macy's. Adrianna Kniep would call to let me know when a specific handbag was on sale and in addition, would advise me to other handbags of Michael Kors. My family and I spent over $1,400 in the handbag department with her help. This point further when we buy handbags we will go to Macy's and work with Adrianna Kniep.
I bought a dress on a Friday afternoon (orig $80, got it for $24) online and needed it for the next weekend. They list on the website when an order will ship based on when you ordered it, and then note that it takes 1-5 days after ship date to receive it. Well, I decided to cut it close-in fact, I only gave myself 1-4 days, hoping that it would come in that time.
However, when I got my confirmation email, it projected that it would ship a day later (Wed) than listed on the site. I called customer service, and they were amazing and dealt with my issue to my complete satisfaction!
I just got off the phone now, and while I've never shopped at Macy's before (save perfume), I was amazed at their deals and the customer service alone makes me a new lifetime shopper!
My wife was robbed in a macys bathroom. Local store didn't know what to do but say they were sorry. Corporate just blew off the incident also. You want to get robbed, go to macys and sit on one of their toilets. It's not safe to shop at macys. Oh, fall down outside of macys, they show up and take your picture. macys is a safety hazard.
The other day we had our family portrait taken for Christmas. My wife wore a blouse that she had bought at Macy's. She bought it at least 4 years ago and according to her was still stylish and it looked brand new. She wouldn't tell me what she paid for it, lol but honestly it's in such great shape after all these years it's worth what she paid. I have a few dress shirts my wife bought for me and they were all under $20! Macy's apparently has great sales too!
It's actually funny how much money Macy makes off me because they are set up to accept credit card payments at any register! I pay my card off in full each month, but I also purchase more clothes with their credit card coupons while I'm in the store making that payment! It's just smart business and I like associating with smart people :)
I love browsing this site, but it's little too difficult to target items you really would like to purchase
I was one of the original Macy's in Herald Square shoppers from New York. For the last few years I've seen their retail stores go downhill and it's sad.
In my few shopping experiences with them, I've wound up shopping elsewhere as their online prices are not competitive at all.
It was very easy to find the items I wanted online, and they offer great discounts to those on the mailing list. I also appreciate being able to return items to the store that were purchased online.
It is very easy to find your favorite clothes at Macy's as they have a huge selection and very competitive prices.
the La Cumbre Store in Santa Barbara seriously lacks in customer service, and choice in latest trends and fashions. I was very dissapointed to see that the sales person had absolutely no idea what the store is carrying and to find out that they didn;t carry long skirts at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long skirts are the trend this year, and they have none.
I can always find my favorite clothes at Macy's due to their huge selection and very competitive pricing.
It is quick & easy shopping on Macy's website. I am to use the discount coupons on-line when I can't use in-store...
Whenever I shop it's online if I can help it. Macy's is one of my favorite places. Easy ordering and easy return. Never had a problem.
I searched all over the internet for a tall specific looking Nutcracker Soldier. I searched from the the UK websites to America and other parts of Europe. I found exactly what I was looking for at Macy's. I was a little worried as a long way to transport such a toy to the UK and within a couple of weeks the wooden wonder turned up, packaged and safe and sound. The payment system was easy and transferred directly. Thank You Macy for making a christmas wish come true!
I don't know what woman in America does not love Macys. Their purchase of Mashall Fields in the mid-2000s was one of the best decisions they ever made.
I shop Macy's, have shopped Macy's ever since I can remember. It is my basic department store I have always gone to first. I like their selection of items, love their sales, and actually used to work as a sales person some years ago. I have moved to an area that doesn't have a Macy's store so what do I do? Buy on line, of course!
Last week I bought a bunch of cosmetics at Macys, like Estee Lauder creams etc. They are expensive, you know but when the time of pay came I was charged with $0.10 for the paper bag!! they say is the city of San Jose policy. Wow they cannot absorb 10 cents!! poor Macy's!!
As I was at the Valley Fair Mall,I went to the Godiva store andI bought some chocolates . My tab there was $10.00 and I have free samples and I was not charged for the Bag .
Too bad Macy's.
I love Macy's. They used to be classier and some of their merchandise is more generic--they used to be more like Nordstrom's, but now they consider JCPenny a competitor. I'm not sure why the company is going that direction, but I'm still a loyal shopper.
Last weekend my husband and I purchased a comforter set from a Macy's Department Store. The comforter was wrapped in a vinyl zip wrap and as soon I I got home, I opened it - and as soon as I opened the package, it smelled like 30 smokers were in the bag (both my husband and I are ex-smokers). The workers are clearly smoking in the storeroom. I contacted customer service through their website and still haven't heard back. Thank goodness I didn't spend more money there... I now know to shop locally for such items so they can be easily returned. Check out everything before you leave the store......... lesson learned!
