I have shopped at Mandmdirect for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Prompt delivery, excellent prices and genuine merchandise. My whole family is dressed head to foot in Ben Sherman, Helly Hansen and Oakley at unbelievable prices. What I really appreciate in their service is how fast they process returns and refunds, which is so important shopping for clothes and footwear online as things don't always fit and you have to order different size.
In the past you had to return items at your own expence via Post, but recently they introduced brilliant returns service costing £1.50 per order where you drop off your parcel at a local store in your area (usually news agent), you can look up online your nearest store. I used this service a few times now and find it very convenient.
Communication has always been very good with regular e-mails confirming order, dispatch, returns and refunds. I recommended the company to many friends over the years and it still remains my favourite online outlet.

Staff and Cust Serv very nice and helpful - up until the very moment when the amount is transferred from your account to theirs. After that? You're eff*d. Rude and unhelpful. Please stick with local market when you seem incapable of dealing with more sophisticated stuff. Such as accepting orders from Abroad & Overseas. Yeah, things can get as difficult as that. Also, PayPal means 'Paying safe online' so what on earth do you mean by 'Additional Security Check'?
I'm so devastated!!! I have paid for my order via PayPal. The money were withdrawn right away. I was expecting to receive my order in Italy in 4-5 days. The next day I was shocked by the message from customer service. The order was on hold cause I had to GIVE THEM MY PERSONAL DETAILS OF THE CREDIT CARD. It's unspeakable!!! I wrote to PayPal and they told me to beware as it's against the low. Only PayPal can ask to provide such information. So, I wrote to mandmdirect.com to refund money. They do not react, but for some strange reason thay refuse to deliver the order to the address stated in the purchase order. It's Italy! No money, no order!!!
Unfortunately I can't give this company no stars which is a shame because this must be the worst company out there. Ordered size 14 shorts because I am a size 14 - couldn't even get them past my knees so paid my own postage costs to return them for a size 18 (as I believed a size 16 wouldn't fit either) and although I could get these on, they were too tight to be decent. Sent these back, again at my own cost and now they are saying they haven't had them back in the warehouse so they are refusing to refund me. Their only reply to me is that it's the Post Office's fault - would have thought that refunding me such a small amount since I have given them proof of postage would be a good customer service exercise even if they supposedly haven't had them returned to the warehouse. Furthermore, if their sizes were correct, I wouldn't have been forced to send the shorts back twice in the first place!!!!!!!!!

M and M need to update their online/stock availability system, as this is the second time I've ordered a 'bargain' only to later receive an incomplete order with items missing. When I telephoned their customer services folks, I was told ithat the missing items were out of stock when they had come to pick the order, but now these items had miraculously appeared back in stock at close to the RRP price (which is 4 times the cost of my original order). When asked if I could have the items at the discounted price, I was told in no uncertain terms by one VERY rude individual that was not going to happen.
So in summary - good products at greatly reduced rates, however, what you order may in no way correlate to what you end up with. And don't bother ringing customer services because they're chocolate teapots.
I ordered online for my brother, to be safe we got a size bigger than his usual, when the product arrived the size was ridiculous, i had ordered an XL t shirt and honestly it wouldnt have fitted a 10 year old boy, and my brother is 22! If there is a difference in sizes than normal retail sizes this should be stated on the website. I am really quite disgusted
