Did not receive order and still waiting to hear from them.

I ordered a product from Mankind with high hopes as I'd read excellent reviews. However, two weeks on I have still not received my product and I have not heard back from them yet. I contacted them but still waiting to hear. They have charged my account too. I hope this is a one off but unless they get back to me and offer me an incentive, I won't use this service again - especially since other sites selling the same products are prompt with their delivery and communication.

Fantastic company, great products!

As a man who likes to take care of his appearance I can't recommend Mankind highly enough for their array of fantastic, and well priced products. Their customer service is, also, a credit to the company.

Near perfection.

I'm most likely going to continue shopping from this site, since it has good products at great prices. What I liked about my first experience there was that I could read people's opinions on the different products. Everything was well organized and I received my package very fast considering I'm from Spain. Some things need to be improved though. There is some information that needs to be updated (Product recommendations within the grooming guides) and also the aesthetics of the page could be improved.

Worst customer service I ever had!

19 February I place an order on site Mankind.co.uk
Today is 5 April, but my order is still not delivered.
And tracking number for my parcel not working.
In my post office and customs assured that it has been lost, because more 40 days passed.
I'm asking customer service about refund or send me replacement but my my messages are ignored .
I will have to open a claim on PayPal and go to my bank to cancel the transaction.
I do not advise to order on this site!

Terrible, incredibly long order time, and then have the cheek to send me a survey request.

I just want muy stuff!!!

My No.1 "Go To" Company

Since discovering Mankind my bathroom window sill looks like a mens version of something from Sex and the City, while my sons think with the amount of products I have I should be a character in American Psycho.
I have never yet bought a product that I am not happy with....nor had a bad experience buying; something that I cannot say for all companies.
The site is informative and packed full of tips, and the added bonus of samples just sets Mankind another notch higher.

What a fab organisation!

Bought Clinique Happy for Men. Website easy to use, priced very competitively and arrived ahead of when I was expecting it.

Up until this purchase I would only buy from another online retailer, however as a result of this positive experience I will be going to Mankind for my stuff first.

Quality Site

Over a month later and still haven't received my product!

It's been about 6 weeks since I got an e-mail saying my order was dispatched...still hasn't arrived. I understand I live in the US and that it would take a while...but 6+ weeks? Ridiculous.

Absolute DISGRACE!

I have literally just got of the phone to the courier service MHI whom mankind claim to use to deliver my products. They cannot find my orders. I called them because the manager put the phone down on me for the second time in a week because I am still waiting for my products after FIVE weeks yes over a MONTH when I was told I'd have my products in 2-3 days!! Not only are the customer service team rude, they lied to me countless times, refused to give me a refund, refused to deal with me and could not give me any information i was asking for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am now on my way to my bank to get my money back through them and i will be contacting watchdog, the BBC and the trading standards office to get these people dealt with PRONTO so no one goes through the trouble I've been through for over a month and wastes as much money as me. They are an absolute DISGRACE!

Good products, lousy customer service

Mankind is one of the few UK stockist for Headblade products. The products are excellent, although, as with most US-produced products, the price on Mankind is over twice what you'd pay in the US. But they're excellent products and by UK standards, still good value for money. Mankind's customer service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. There were several products in my order and, after having placed the order, I realised that I'd mistakenly ordered a travel size version of one product. I immediately rang the customer service number to put it right, but they said that all they could do was cancel the item in question, refund the money, and I would have to re-order the correct size. This was within minutes of having placed my order. I also wanted to upgrade to next day delivery, but was told that this wasn't possible once my order was placed. I instructed the customer service team to leave the order as it was. Shortly after, I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. Then, later still, another email saying that my order couldn't be cancelled because it had already been packed for shipping. I eventually took delivery of items 5 days after placing the order. Why couldn't I alter my order minutes after placing it? Why couldn't I upgrade to next day delivery? With beauty and toiletry items, purchase is often to replace, meaning rapid delivery and flexibility are paramount.

I shall not be using Mankind again but will instead call into Cater & Bond in London.

Did not get item so far. How come two items dispatched in same day but just got one. It apparently they missed other one. And very slow customer service response !!!

Quick and easy ordering

Free delivery, great products

I've been buying things from this site for a good 3-4 years now. I've had constantly good service with reasonable delivery times, which are now free, and a good array of products with a good depth of information.

Worse experience EVER

The last time I did business with them was in 2007, I can't remember why I stopped, but it must have been because of their sub-standard services or high prices (or maybe a combination of both)

I recently got a voucher saying they would give me 15% off and free shipping. I then went in and ordered some Molton Brown products. The products came with a free gift pack.

I placed the order, and when I got the confirmation, I realized that the discount hadn't gone through, so I cancelled my order immediately - I am talking literally 2 minutes. But my order said it was pending cancellation and should be done in an hour. Not happy with this, I sent them an email and called them as well. Both the person on the phone and that on the email, promised me that the order was cancelled.

The following day... oh surprise, I get an email saying that my products were on their way. I called Mankind, and they apologized, and gave me a label to return my stuff....

So that means: 1) I had to go online, send an email and make a phone call to request the cancellation, 2) then I had to make another call to complain about the cancellation not working, and TO TOP IT... 3) NOW I NEED TO GO AND FIND A COLLECT+ TO SEND IT BACK..

I think these guys do it on purpose, so clients are less likely to return the item and they get extra sales...

Never doing business with them again... and this time I am writing it down, so I remember why.

Be nice if the courier delivered it to my house.

Pls use a better courier, ive still not got my order and its been 2 weeks.
Not sure why I should try and find where thay left the order.

Excellent service

I discovered them by mistake and it feels like they were a best kept secret. I've now been shopping there for my essential man products for just over two years and I can honestly say they are very good. If I have problems at check out such as discount codes (they often have these by the way) I can call them up and get the help I need immediately. They've stopped carrying Keihl's which I like but they have many other products. You also get Avios points through shopping with them which add up to free flights. It's a good site, functional and well laid out.

More and more items becoming out of stock and delivery times getting longer.. (Cheaper postal service being used?)

good product but damaged packaging not great to be given as a gift

Impressed with the product but the packaging was damaged and not sealed, with one of the items upside down which makes me think the items are not kept in their packaging in the warehouse. product also took 7 days to arrive.

Great range, efficient service

Great range of products make it a good one stop shop. Delivery is usually fast and efficient. Occasional products are regularly out of stock which can be frustrating. Frequent special discount periods are great, however loyalty voucher delivery and usability is sporadic.

No free promotional items

I ordered from your website , not because your products were any cheaper than other sites but because it advertised 2 free 100ml bottles of Molton Brown shower/bath gel. However, when my order arrived it was late and contained only the things I had ordered , no free samples of Molton brown . Disappointing,will go back to Good old John Lewis

Quality, for male grooming do not shop elsewhere

Everything has been spot on and i order 5-6 products a month. The offers/discounts available are second to none, I have recommended to friends and will continue to do so. A top company selling only the best product.

Where do I start????

I placed an order Wednesday 17.10.12 and paid extra for next day delivery. The order did not arrive Thursday, I was not too put out as I thought I may have missed the order deadline for next day. I was off work on Friday, so when I came in on Monday I was disappointed to find the order still not delivered. I tracked it online and found it had been delivered but not to where I work as the signature does not belong to any one at our reception
I sent an email to this effect and waited for a response. On Tuesday with no reply I contacted customer services and they said they would contact the carrier. The carrier is advising they have delivered the order as they have a POD, which is fine, but as there are 15 companies on the business park where I work, they won't confirm to which company they delivered to. So here I am a week after placing my first order, £14.95 out of pocket, and no order received.
I was advised to use this company by a colleague but after this experience I will probably go back to using American Crew as their carrier can deliver no problem (as can UPS, Parcel Force, DHL, Interlink and Hermes) unlike DPD.
I don't have an issue with the CS people but, I work with carriers every day and they should be able to obtain from the carrier a drivers manifest for that day's delivery route.This would let me know which companies on the business park they delivered to so I could attempt to recover the order.
Also at no point have I been offered a replacement order to make up for the goods I have not received which I find disappointing.
