Products first class but pins on current Davey rigging screws and toggles are not the same size as my 75 year old ones so I returned 2 toggles for reimbursement. No problem said Laura.
When the order was placed I was given to understand that the hand held sailing compass was in stock and would be dispatched next working day, instead I was told it was out of stock and they were not expecting a delivery for another two weeks. The two weeks past and following a further e-mail was informed it would be a further 2 weeks before they expected delivery to there warehouse. Because of this further delay I decided to cancel the order and purchase from another supplier.
Competitive price for a solar panel. Direct comunication from the boss when it was not initially in stock and I was kept in the loop all the way through the purchase. Highly recommended.
Having placed an order for a number of parts, one was not available. I was informed within a few hours and asked whether I would like to wait for all parts to be in stock. I elected to do so and was informed my order should be fulfilled within three weeks. It was! No need to chase, I was told immediately the part became available and delivery was made within two days.

When buying items that are show in stock you expect to get them within 3 working days at most
I ordered a sink and a week after the order was placed I had an email saying that my order would be processed within the next week. it turned up after three weeks. I have since tried to order a waste connection from them but its like banging your head against a brick wall, I tried to log in to my account and keep getting told there is no account, so I have tried to re register and place my order and each time it says my email address is invalid( so how come they keep sending me emails to that same address), I have tried three different valid email addresses but it says they are all invalid. its as if they dont want your business.
Spent ages seleting & ordering several qty's of several different items (bearing pulley's & rope) and it all came together, quite quickly, in one box as hoped.
Only reservation (if any) is that the "Shock Cord" I bought was effectively thick bungey cord and not what I was (personally) expecting, but I could have checked that 1st, or returned it if I wasn't happy. It workes fine for my application as rope for a clothes airater, so all good.
I am happy, so rang them to tell them how well it was all packaged and received. Credit where credit is due! The extra effort makes all the difference.
I ordered several items over the Christmas period, they were posted out straight after the holidays. One item was out of stock, which I was kept informed of and received it as soon as it came in. All of it was good quality at good prices, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I wanted a Breton Cap to go with a Monkey style jacket that my wife bought me for christmas. This will give me a seasoned Matelot look when both lose their new gloss. Fantastic cap dosen't blow off in the wind and keeps my thining crown warm in this icy winter weather.
one thing i was not happy with was that i had to stay at home for 5 days or more as not to miss the delivery and have to pay again for re-delivery as they wont leave with neighbour. need more than two hands to count times i have signed for parcels for neighbours. no way of tracking order to get some idea of when it might be delivered.

From Italy I am purchasing products, for my sailing boat, from Marinestore as I find them competitive in prices. Of course sometime the shipment cost result to be high but not higher then on local chandlers.
I was quoted £20 by the website for delivery of a bilge pump to the South of France, this would have made the very competitive price for the pump, very un-competitive.
So I opted for 1st class Royal Mail and set a cost on this at £8 which made the price of the pump + delivery at around the same price quoted for the pump from other suppliers.
However it took 3 weeks to deliver the package which I find unacceptable.
given that this was an Automatic bilge pump I needed it quickly as the previous one had broken down and not working.
However I received the pump and I am pleased with the quality of it and it is now fitted into my boat..
I ordered a breton cap for my father for christmas but when he tried it on he realised his head was much smaller than he led me to believe. Marine Store kindly changed the hat without quibble and I am currently awaiting delivery. Having spoken to them about the order, they were very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys!
