Terrible Service - DO NOT USE - let down twice!!

We ordered urgent prescription dog medication from this company. We faxed the vet prescription to Medic Animal and phoned to check they had received it. Medic Animal said that they had received it and could see no problems with it, and that it would be processed on Monday as the pharmacy was closed at the weekend. I called a few days later because the medication had not arrived and was told that they had not received the prescription. I faxed it across again along with proof of my original fax. I called again after a few days, now desparate for my poorly dogs medication, and was told that they were waiting for my vet to verify the prescription. My vet said that they had not received any calls from Medic Animal. After 10 days of waiting and now desparate, I cancelled the order with Medic Animal and ordered from Pet Dispensary instead. Upon receipt of my faxed prescription, Pet Dispensary sent out the medication and I received it the next day - much better service!! Should have known better as I had previously placed an order with Medic Animal for food and it was delivered late. I wrote to the manager, [Private data removed], months ago about the terrible service received regarding the prescription and did not receive a reply....... says it all!!

    Unfortunately, the vet needing to be contacted was on leave at the time, which resulted in the order being delayed as much as it was. I fully appreciate that this was not ideal but dispensing the medication without the vet's validation would have been illegal. As a registered pharmacy, this would be out of the question for us.

    Our Pharmacy Manager had attempted to call you a number of times to discuss the situation, but was unable to reach you. For this reason, we could not keep you up to date with the progress of the order.

    I can assure you that it was never our intention to cause inconvenience for you and your dog, so it is unfortunate that events transpired the way they did.

    Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused by MedicAnimal, and thank you for providing your feedback.
