I purchased a cateye 1100 rear light back in Oct'11 which subsequently had one of the ends fall off around Apr'12 whilst I was out cycling. Struggled to find the receipt through the paperwork & emails and had given up on getting a replacement as I had nothing to go back to Merlin with. Contacted them in Dec'12 and they couldn't see the order on their database but had upgraded to a new db 6mtgs earlier. Eventually found the receipt in my work email and contacted the team. Spoke to a chap called Mike who said that although it was out with the normal 12mth period they'd see what they could do directly with Cateye. Lo & behold, the team contacted me to say that they'd got a replacement & sent me a brand new light. Tip top & excellent customer service!
