Hvorfor så besværlig?

Hvorfor skal alting med SkyDrive være så besværlig? Jeg kan ikke få lov til at ændre login mailadresse uden at kommunikere med supportteam i deres forum igennem 1½ måned før de ændrer det tilbage til det rigtige. Rigtigt, det var min egen skyld af mailadressen blev ændret til alias, men alligevel...

Når jeg skal lukke min konto, skal jeg først annullere mit betalingsabonnement på SkyDrive, men det kan jeg ikke få lov til selv. Jeg skriver derfor i deres forum, som henviser mig til den rigtige support - som er samme forum. Bare i en anden gruppe. Men den tråd bliver så slettet af Microsoft uden at angive grund. Så nu skal jeg kommunikere frem og tilbage længe inden de kan gøre noget.

Hvorfor kan jeg ikke få lov til at gøre det hele selv som hos Google?

Windows 8 was a big disappointment

Bought a new PC preinstalled with Win8.
Big disappointment!
It's updating all the time, app's for music and video doesn't play anyway, and when I tried to install my usb wireless network amplifier that worked fine with Win7 for a year, the system chrashed and took 16 hours to reinstall. What annoys me the most is I had to buy a Win7 license to get rid of Win8, and found out it is quite difficult and time consuming just to get rid of Win8. Project still pending... :-(

Must admit though, it's VERY fast to start up Win8. But we also waited 15 years for a OS from Microsoft that would start up in less than half an hour, even though our PC's have improved a 1000 times or more.... :-)

The company people love to hate

Microsoft are quite simply the only real option for 90% of computer users.

This is because to communicate with all those others in that 90% you need Microsoft products.
You could say, look at the state of the roads I dont think I should use them any more. But try getting anywhere without them.

All the open source products allow you to save in Microaft compatible formats, Why? so the documents can be read by people who use the 90% of Microsoft software. Not ideal but the way it is.

Super OS !!

eigentlich bin ich wortlos mit Windows 7 zufrieden :))

was aber in keiner anderen Version von Windows zu sehen ist, ist bei dem druck auf dem mausrad, Bewegungen zum zoomen zb. links nach rechts :) hoch und runter um zu blättern "super" . hilfreich zum zoomen in jeden Task wäre effektiv zum nutzen ))

Lukker lovligt software ned uden grund!

Fik i sidste uge en besked om at mit windows ikke længere var genuine, og efter en længere diskussion med microsoft support står jeg nu uden et lovligt OS.

Min kopi af Windows 7 Home Premium er købt fra ny i forsejlet emballage i en fysisk butik, det har kun været indstalleret på min pc og jeg ligger inde med både CDkey CD'er og æske.

Dette mente Microsoft ikke var grundlag nok for at bevise min kopi var legit.

Deres support som dårligt snakkede Dansk var ret ubehagelig og direkte nedladende.

Så mit råd til kommene windows brugere, spild ikke jeres penge på deres software.

Uovertruffen support

Havde problem med Windows Update.
Kontaktede Microsofts Customer Support, som var venlig, hurtig og effektiv.
Problemet skulle vise at være temmelig kompliceret og række et pænt stykke ud over, hvad jeg har forstand på, men supporteren gav klare og letforståelige instruktioner, som løste problemet.
Det var bare service i topklasse!
Gid alle softwareproducenter var lige så servicemindede!

Fantastisk telefonsupport

Jeg havde en Windows 8 opdatering jeg skulle installere efter at have formateret harddisken - og det er man åbenbart ikke berretiget til ifølge licensen.
Jeg ringede til support og blev mødt at en meget høflig supporter. Han kunne desværre ikke hjælpe, og stillede mig videre til en anden afdeling.
Her blev jeg mødt at endnu en høflig supporter, der gerne ville hjælpe, jeg var bare nød til at have min computer foran mig - hvilket jeg ikke havde.
Dagen efter havde jeg så min computer med på arbejde. Jeg ringede til support, hvor jeg kom igennem på få minutter, og fik fat i en høflig og meget hjælpsom supporter. Han hjalp mig med at få aktiveret min Windows installation - no questions asked (jeg ringede til erhversafdelingen som privarperson).

Hvis bare standarden var halt så god telefonsupport havde jeg meget færre grå hår i hovedet :-)

Microsoft have gone way down -thanks to Windows 8

I used to have a middling respect for Microsoft but now I have a struggle to award them even 1 star. WHY they have ROBBED me of £25 for an upgrade that simply WONT install. I had a working version of 7 and thought that since Windows 8 is on offer until 31st Jan it would be worth upgrading. It is SUPPOSED to upgrade Windows 7 with installed software, personal files etc. After trying 2 or 3 times wasting goodness knows how much time what is the end result. A cryptic message saying it cant (wont) install so going back to Windows 7 . It would probably install over Windows 7 if you have absolutely no other programs installed so whats the point?

It is an absolute total utter waste of time and money It is badly thought out, badly written and joins the ranks of Windows ME & Vista to vie for the title of the worst Windows version. I have never liked Apple products but now maybe this experience has got me thinking maybe Apple isn't so bad after all. I thought I would NEVER ever go the Apple route but this experience now is pushing me in that direction.
Will I get my money back from Microsoft? i doubt it even though this product is simply not fit for purpose. Will I trust Microsoft again - they will have a hard job to convince me they are now worth sending a penny more on their products. i really think this is the beginning of the end for them. Its going to be downhill from here
The only way now seems to be (if I decide to try again) is to do a clean install and waste time having to re-install every program again.. Looks like I will have to write off the £25 wasted on this totally utterly useless Windows 8 and stay with Windows 7 but in the meantime start taking a serious look at what Apple has to offer.

Hard to avoid but if possible, avoid at all cost.

They are a disgraceful company, they destroyed windows with Windows 8, they have zero respect for competitive companies and their customers, they put adverts on paying members of Xbox live on Xbox 360, they are just a disgrace.

Får man låst sin microsoft-konto er man fortabt

Jeg har aldrig i mit liv oplevet så ringe support som på Microsoft side hvor man kan søge support online via deres forum.
Svar tiderne er håbløse, de svare i øst og vest, og der sker ikke en skid med hensyn til ens problem.

Det er direkte pinligt et firma med så mange ressourcer yder så ringe support.
De kan da trøste sig selv med man i det mindste skal give 1 stjerne.
Mit problem er stadig ikke løst.

Win 8 opdatering virker ikke, support ingen hjælp!

Jeg købte for nylig ny PC med win7, fik tilbud om opdatering til 8 til ca ½ pris, fint!

Da 8 blev lanceret fik jeg en mail om opdatering, bestilte og betalte, downloadede og installerede, alt OK indtil allersidst, fejlmeddelelse!

Prøver at geninstallere, ny fejlmeddelelse.

Ringer til support, lang ventetid, får en udmærket behandling, men den foreslåede løsning virker ikke.
Ny opringning, endnu længere ventetid, får mailet en fil, der skulle løse problemet, ellers vil de oprette en sag på problemet, men filen løser heller ikke problemet.
Tredje opringning, kortere ventetid, får en ny melding om at slukke mit antivirusprogram, det virker heller ikke.
Så opgiver jeg!

At have spildt 119 kr er en sag, meget værre og ret frustrerende er det at have brugt en dags tid forgæves:-(

Windows is very easy to use for a beginner. However, it's not so good if you're what's known as a "power user", because Windows caters more for "normal users".

Uretfærdig behandling

Google chrome er det bedste

Microsoft/Explorer er det værste der længe er lavet, det er langsomt og frustrerende, vil klart bruge Chrome

Xbox live gold is wonderful and terrible.

Xbox live gold, a necessity for playing online, is both wonderful and terrible. It has good speeds and rarely any lag, but to cancel a live gold subscription you have to call up MS, wait in queues until your hair is grey and then convince a sales rep that you don't need more gold but want to cancel. Rubbish.

Windows / explorer suck

Sick and tired of Bill Gates trying to control your life. Thats why Google Chrome came as a rescuer. Disable updates etc. MS just
makes your mashine get slower and slower.

Truly awful!

I could write a long, long post here that no one would bother to read through, but let’s just take the latest:
My new minilaptop has been trying to update Microsoft word for… And hold your breath here: TWO AND A HALF months. It tells me the internet/transfer has been cut off and it can’t download even though the connection works perfect for everything else. If I as much as dare to hit a letter on the keyboard with Word open, it freezes up completely.
Now, I have tried to find help online, but there is none to find. Microsoft seems to be in complete denial that such a problem could ever, ever happen to their products. Sure, I can pay an arm and a leg to get their “help” but get this: Only if I had bought their products separately from the laptop.
Because apparently the programs your expensive computer came with doesn’t count at all?
So as always, my conclusion when dealing with Microsoft boils down to this: The people they have working for them actually don’t need to use their own products for their work. Otherwise they would have created something you could actually rely on and would work for you.

Good overall

They have some great products which I simply couldn't live without. Also the bad ones, but I don't use those.

Kundeservice???

Når ens hotmail-konto er lukket pga. virus, kan man kun få hjælp på et site. Når man så har tastet alverdens oplysninger ind, får man information om, at sitet er under opdatering og derfor ikke tilgængeligt. Kom nu ind i kampen Microsoft - hvor svært kan det være at oplyse om, at sitet er nede, inden man bruger en masse tid på at fylde sine oplysninger ind.

Gennemført god service, ikke perfekt men tæt nok på. No - nonsence problemløsning og fagligt højt service niveau.

Still the most customer orientated OS on the market.

Considering the time, effort and cost to provide the level of servise, MS does extreamly well. And no matter how you look at it, compared to Apple for both OS and after market software still the most economical choice.

I have still to learn about a MS product that has no alternative which is way better in many ways, price and quality being the most usual and important ones.

I use the microsoft web site often as i use a lot of programmes that need up dating. If i need a product that isnt currently in the catalogue takes a long tiume to find it. Odviously micrsoft want you to buy/downlaod their latest products , but those with older computers cant always support the latest products. I use xp still and am finding it harder to get the suport on this web site. I hope that i can continue using the provider web site for support, as i prefer to use the originator that a virused 3rd party. On the whole id reccomend going to the micrsoft site than any other with the caveat it may be difficult to find what you need there.
