They delivered my dress earlier than my wear date! And it is sooo beautiful, it was more than I expected it to be, got the right size with the help of their customer service. I will definitely shop here again. :)
My friend had recently purchased a dress from MissesDressy and I knew I had to give it a shot since the options by me for designer dresses are very limited. Bought a special ordered Jovani Evening Gown dress that I thought I would never be able to get. It took a bit of time to get to me due to the special order but once I received it I totally fell in love with it. MissesDressy provides a great option for those that can not find what they are looking for locally.
I had found an evening dress in London, tried it on but then hesitated to buy it. It sold out the next day as it was on sale! I was so pleased when I found the same dress at MissesDressy for the same price. I gave MissesDressy the benefit of doubt (having read some not so positive reports) when I ordered my Jovani Dress from them. I did not have much time to receive the dress so did give them a window of 2 weeks! Within an hour of ordering I received an email thanking me for my custom and trust. Shortly after I received the confirmation that the dress was on its way to London! It arrived 5 days later by DHL. Perfect in every way! Thank you Misses Dressy!
I purchased from MissesDressy back in December and while everything about shipping and such was fine the dress itself did not fit the way I had hoped. I guess that is the only issue with shopping for a dress online so I will be better prepared next time I look online for a dress.
I don't know how this company can get away with this. They took 950.00 from me because not informing me that it really takes months to get your dresses and then your credit expires when they say no matter if they say it has six months or they extend it or not. They don't want to communicate with you because they want a lot of us to suffer.
They are not a company that I would ever do business with ever again. I am going to make sure everyone that I know knows it. They did not respond to my emails about another order on credits. Don't trust them. Those of you who got your dress your lucky as you can see the majority didn't. They are evidently a New York Companies that prey on customers who may change their minds or don't read all the many fine print. when they say ships immediately and you pay overnight shipping. They mean when it takes weeks or months if they can get it!
After reading some of the previous reviews I have to consider myself extremely lucky as I actually received my dress by my wear date without a hassle. Apparently that can not be the same for others which is awful because I don't know how I would have reacted it if I had a similar issue.
I placed an order on January 1, 2013 (New Year's Day) for a supposed stock item. They did not have any problem accepting the money and then sent me an email stating the dress would not be available until March 15, 2013. So I called and received the worse customer service ever! They are exceptional rude and unprofessional! The link clearly says: "In Stock"- then it is my expectation that it is in stock! And if it is not- then notify the customer or return the money! I don't see what the problem is!

Delivery of horror I wrote .... now get the dress. Dress poor quality stones broken! Made in China! Although the store promises 100% original! Nagle lie! Responsible for selling fake bear refuse! I wrote a complaint to the official website jovani, waiting for an answer ... NOT buy knockoffs for the money!

I ordered my dress from MissesDressy a month ago and I just received it albeit it much later than the 2 weeks estimated time that it was told it would take. The dress itself is gorgeous so I am generally happy but they need to make sure dresses get to the customers in an appropriate duration.
They are not professional and rude and all they care is to get your money, after they have your money, they give you all kind of excuses and policies so they don't give you your money back if anything goes wrong.
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE, there are plenty of other professional online businesses

I ordered my dress as a last minute New Years Opportunity arose and I needed a dress for the occasion. I went with MissesDressy as I was looking for something specific that I was unable to find in retail stores around my house. Thankfully after ordering my dress with expressed shipping and received it just in time to get any necessary alterations for my party. So very happy I got it as I was asked about my dress all night.
I've ordered two dresses from MissesDressy in the past few months as I had a couple of big events and both times I was very happy with the product and delivery. Will continue to keep MissesDressy in my mind when I have any more functions coming up in the future.
So I was told that they are the same people who own New York Dress, no doubt by Kimberly who is spamming everyone's review. Anyway, I didn't have one problem with the dresses I've bought from them nor have any of the people I have recommended to them. I will continue to do business with them.
I ordered from MissesDressy about a month ago. I received the dress just a couple of weeks later but unfortunately the dress was a little bit too long for me. I debated to take it to a seamstress here but ultimately decided to return it. After a few calls with customer service we agreed upon an exchange for a smaller size. Finally received the new dress that fits me great so after a little hiccup I got what I wanted from MissesDressy
After reading these reviews I'll consider myself one of the lucky ones. Ordered my dress a few weeks ago with MissesDressy and just received it now. Thankfully I didn't have an urgent need at the time so I was able to wait a bit longer than I expected. I have no complaints on the quality of the dress as it is just what I had hoped so I have nothing negative to say about that. I'll certainly reconsider ordering a dress online from any online retailer from now on.
So I ordered a dress last week that was 1) supposed to have free international shipping as they advertise free international shipping on every order over $200, 2) ready to be shipped in 1 business day, and 3) a Jovani dress in Champagne color.
I made the order on Friday, and chose a date one week from that day as the "wear day". I could have selected Tuesday as the wear day, so this gave me three days buffer I figured in which time my fiancée could try the dress on. I came back from an overseas trip on Tuesday night and still had not received the shipping tracking number. At checkout I was charged $39 for shipping, but this said International 1-3 days, so I figured the "free" shipping wasn't available to have the dress by the wear date, so I paid the money. Now I have read the reviews, I am thinking that there was just no option available and they were going to charge me anyhow.
I made a few phone calls to customer service. I was hung up on the first time. The second time a woman told me the dress was on the shelf waiting to be shipped, but that she would call me back in an hour or two. This was at midnight my time. I was in the office all night and never received a return call. I wrote an e-mail at 8 AM. That was 10 hours ago and I still haven't heard back. Something tells me that dress is never going to make it here by the wear date tomorrow and I guess we just won't be going to the annual work party this year, which is incredibly disappointing as one of my favorite coworkers is leaving the firm.
I will do my best to recoup the money they took. It is sad really, the dress looked beautiful online. I was really hoping to see it on my bride-to-be and adding it to her collection. Now I can't believe I was so stupid for ordering on a site before reading reviews. I guess I took for granted how easy internet shopping is for electronics and stuff on amazon.
I ordered my dress from MissesDressy and then came here and saw all the negative reviews and got obviously worried I just threw away $450. I began anxiously waiting for the worst but sure enough in a couple of weeks I received my Jovani dress just like I had been told. Quality was exactly as expected as well so luckily my experience with them was quite positive and will look to shop there again.
I ordered a dress 3 months ago and after I paid $628.00 I was told the dress was not available. When I asked about the refund I was treated very rudely and told to contact my bank? Initially I paid through paypal as I thought it would be safe, although I don't think they can help me. Not sure what to do now but must warn others. I am not rich, far from it and only spent that much because it was for my daughters prom. I would never normally pay that much for a dress.

worst customer service and there return policy is not fair. I order a dress and on my confirmation documents shows the apartment number was not there for delivery. The carrier left the package at the office but no notice they tried delivering since missesdressy didnt put the apartment number. By the time I notice the package was at the office it was more than the 3 days policy. The dress is too big and I want to exchange it, I dont mind a credit but even that it was there fault for not providing my full address to the carrier they dont want to give me a credit. They only think about them self not there customers. Theres so many dress company that are way bugger because there customer service. Dont order from them I do not recommended. Also I paid for 2 days service and received it 3 weeks after. Dont believe it when they said is 2 days.
F stand for failure! better Business Bureau reviews show what this company is. From another duped customer: "There have been 80 complaints to the Better Business Bureau and they give MissesDressy an F! Wish I read all of these comments and did my homework before I ordered from them. I learned a very valuable lesson and am now very careful when ordering online. "working within their policy" only means they are working against you, as their policies allow them to do. Note that they tell you that within 3 days of recieving their products, you can "return" them. Which is not so fair, but I made the return within the time frame anyway. MISSES DRESSY DOES NOT ALLOW "RETURNS" You do not get refunded, you can only exchange, which is only mentioned farther down "return instructions." A "return" means return. An exchange or store credit means exchange or store credit. Any lawyers out there? They are trying very hard to dupe customers instead of offering honest service. If anyone orders four dresses because God only knows how they will fit - and you can only find out in trying them on - they should rais a red flag and reach out to the customer to let them know that they are only for exchange or store credit. Who wears four dresses to the same event? Utterly Dishonest. The salespeople are not understanding and one was just plain mean. Must be the attitude of the owners trickling down to all who work there. I think everyone who wrote in a bad experience below is right on target. Don't listen to their paltry reply. They are trying to deflect that they are basically robbing customers. Never again will I order from them!
I bought a dress for my sister's prom, the dress was very expensive, I payed for one day shipping to later find out that they would not have the dress until november which is obviously 3 MONTHS too late.
I immediately called to cancelled my order, and they were not only unhelpful but they were super rude to me. I asked to talk to the supervisor and he started shouting at me. I was amazed with this situation cause any store or online store should at least try to be polite to a client. They refused to give me my money back, and as a college student I can not afford to spend my money like that. It is the WORST place to shop for dresses.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress that had to be custom made for a wedding. I was informed at the time of purchase that the dress would be shipped in 6-8 weeks; however, when I called to check on the progress of the dress after 6 weeks, was told it would be 9+ weeks before it would arrive in their warehouse.
This resulted in not having a dress for my sister's wedding. They say their policy states that once customer ordered, there is no recourse, whether they ship as promised or months and months after that date. In other words, they take your money immediately but you have no real idea if the dress will arrive by your event date.
I would highly recommend not doing business with this very shady online retailer. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau where they are incorporated and filed a complaint.
Don't waste your time or money on this retailer.
I purchased a dress from missesdressy and was satisfied with the product and the delivery. However I was very upset with missesdressy customer service regarding a previous purchase. I purchased a dress, but I was not in town when it was delivered. When I saw the dress, it was not what I expected, especially the fabric, that looked much better in the picture. I remembered that one of the differentials at this website was the possibility of returning in case you are not satisfied. However, I had not noted that it had to be done in a maximum 3 day interval after delivery (what I think it is an excessively short period). Ok,I understand that it is the company policy. But What made me very upset was the attendant on the phone. He was rude and insinuated that I was trying to cheat. He was ironic and I really did not like how he treated me as a customer. Because of this incident, I was concerned about shopping at their website again. However, I needed a dress, and could not find another anywhere, so I took the risk and ordered at their website again. Fortunately, this dress was exactly as pictured. Nevertheless, the 1st experience almost prevented me to shop at their website again.

Strongly recommend NOT ordering from this website. I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding. The dress arrived with numerous flaws and I attempted to obtain an RMA number to return the dress. They would not provide an RMA number because it was past the 3 days. After paying over $400 for the dress, I wrongly assumed quality would be good and there would be no reason to worry about having to return it because of the quality. They did not respond to my emails or make any attempt to provide any kind of customer service or assistance. The dress is unwearable. I went to a professional seamstress for her opinion and she said flaws were as a result of the way dress was packed. Sequins rubbed up against mesh creating multiple elastic strings to protrude from seam. Now I have paid for a dress that was shipped to me in a flawed condition and they will not replace the dress. I would definitely not order from this company, they are not honest in their representation of their company and the quality of their dresses is questionable. I am very upset that at this late date I will need to look for another dress and somehow come up with the money to pay for another dress.

Missesdressy.com is nothing but a shady operation, one that builds their business on deception and greed. While I totally understand and respect that businesses have a right to establish policies for refunds/exchanges that protect their financial integrity, this company's approach is to dupe and dismiss their consumers with little regard for quality service or customer satisfaction... as long as they can ensure a profit in the end. This company apparently contracts with dress designers/manufacturers and then sells the dresses on their website. When I ordered a dress a couple of weeks ago, I specified and paid for Express Delivery. Though they asked me to provide a "wear date", I thought little of it until I realized that they then use this wear date against you in order to prevent cancellation of the order... tactics designed to force you into keeping the purchase or being stuck with "store credit". A couple of days after placing my order, I saw that this company had no intention of honoring my request for Express Delivery, instead stalling until they could finally say "Oh well, sorry... too late. We're keeping your money whether you like it or not, as long as you have the dress by the wear date". This practice is outrageous, unethical, and most of all illogical, especially for purchases that do not involve custom designs or alterations. If I do business with company more than once, it is because I come back as a satisfied customer, not because rude, arrogant salespeople are only worried about filling their pockets on poor quality, overpriced, garbage merchandise.
This is a pretty long story but I told myself I'd write a review if it all worked out in the end! About 4 months ago I ordered a formal dress that I was planning to wear as a bridesmaid, not from here but from a much cheaper place online. So the dress arrived and it was, well, awful. the quality was so bad and worst of all it was just cut really badly so it didn't sit right even though it was the right size.
I was panicking and at the same time trying not to freak out my firend! So I decided I was just gonna have to bite the bullet and buy the dress again, or what I hoped this time was a real designer dress!
So, when I found MissesDressy.com I pretty much hounded their online chat and wanted to be reassured a thousand times over that this time is would all work out. Many, many conversations, an order and a few weeks later the dress arrived as expected. And... wait for it.... it's fab!
So in the long run I am out money because I looked to get that "too good to be true" bargain the first time around. Lesson learned and thanks MissesDressy for listening to my endless questions!
I ordered this dress in a pinch because my fiance and I decided to just get married in the courthouse and have a real wedding next year. I was looking for a cute white dress to wear and ordered one from missesdressy and also ordered 2 day shipping (this was a Sunday evening). After making the order, I checked reviews and it didn't look good but I tried to give them a chance.
I "live chatted" Wednesday because I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation number, yet my card had beed charged (They tell you, they don't charge your card until your order has shipped. lie). Once I started chatting with someone from the site, they told me my order would be shipped out Friday. It was, and got here today (tuesday). I thought ordering two day shipping meant I would recieve the item within two or three days as I have shopped numerous times online. This isn't the case with missessdressy. It will ship in 2 days ONCE they get off their a#$es, drag it off the shelf, place it in a box, and ship it which obviously takes several days. Not only that but I got my order today and it was a bit to small. Called missessdressy to see what I could do since my wedding is in one week and they said I would have to send it back and they would have to recieve it before they would send the next size up. This won't work for me because time won't allow it so I asked if I could order and buy the new size and return the old one and they said no because I would only get store credit......not my money back if I did a return. Horrible if you ask me. I'm never buying anything from them ever again.
Long story short I have the item I ordered and it's better quality than expected. The dates displayed on the site were a little confusing and changed for every size so I ended up ordering a size up to get the dress faster. Phone support was good though.
Finding a store for a cocktail dress in my town is not easy, basically in 5 minutes you've seen it all and still have no options..... so now I shop online most of the time. Here i got a great dress for my wedding anniversary, so easy.
I normally buy all my clothes on the high street but bought a dress for my friend's wedding here so that no one else would have anything like it. For special occasions its a great site but not a lot of choice for casual stuff.
Having read the terrible reviews after placing my order I went into a bit of a panic and as a result my expectations were low. However I am pleased to report that my dress arrived earlier than quoted and I am very pleased with the quality and sizing, it fits perfectly.So they do get it right sometimes and I will definitely order from them again. Just a couple of things to be aware of - if the dress is not available from stock it can take 6-8 weeks for delivery, but they take full payment straight away, which it does tell you in the very small print. Also I wouldn't waste money trying to call them as it is very difficult to get through, email worked much better for me, also make sure you measure yourself accurately, as it will prove time consuming and costly to return items. With this in mind, happy shopping.
I got sent a dress that was the wrong size. It had the manufacturers size on it, which was NOT the size I ordered, then someone put another label with a different size next to that label. I have many dresses from this brand in my size, which I know is small, and I also know what the manufacturers size label looks like. So they sent me a medium and they labeled it a small. When I emailed them to ask for the correct size, they informed me of their return policy of $40 "shipping" for the first dress and additional fees for additional dresses. they also only gave me 3 days from date of receipt to return the dress and it was a holiday weekend! I emailed them back expressing my dissatisfaction and got no further response.
this company has terrible customer service and ridiculous return polices, especially when in this case it was their mistake! I will never use this site again
I went to the website it says the dress is available I go on their live chat they assure me yes they have it in stock in inventory BEWARE they actually DO NOT have inventory as they say on their site !!!
I get an email several days later after the shipping time that is has not only not shipped but they cannot even get the dress!!!! They won’t refund my money!!!!! Obviously I would never order anything from them again I just want my money back they won’t do it . I hold for almost an hour to get disconnected.
To top it all off if you go to the website they still show the very same dress available ready to ship with in 5 days go on chat and ask them same thing their agents will tell you the dress is available to ship!!!
WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!
