Took my money, then emailed for more via bank to bank transfer

I had the misfortune to place an order with this "trader". The items I wanted were in stock, so I ordered the items and paid for them via PAYPAL, job done... Or so I thought. I then get an email saying... and I quote directly "Your order is not passing our security checks and for that reason we require yourself to pay via bank transfer."
So I contacted my credit card and they confirmed that the funds have been drawn. I also checked Paypal and it said that they had taken the money the day before and yet he wants me to do a bank to bank transfer? I smelt a rat, so I decided to call their customer service.... DO.. MAKE... ME .... LAUGH.... It seems that there's no one there to answer the phone and all you get is a list of options directing you to their website and to emails that they clearly do not answer.

I will file a complaint to Paypal and get my money back off them that way.

Should you use them? that's up to you.

Will I use them again.... Not on your life.

Mobilefun complained to TRUSTPILOT in an attempt to get this review removed claiming that I was lying. I provided documented evidence to prove my point and my post has been reinstated.

Bought item and 3 weeks later still no delivery...

They were advertising as item was available for dispatch, week later get an email that they dont have it in stock and should have it within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later get email that i should get it in another 2 weeks,

had to cancel and request refund! total waste of time!

I am a happy bunny!

First of all - the reworked site is really easy to follow and to find the things you are looking for. I can always edit my order at the end which gives me peace of mind.

And then - just when I start wondering when the order is going to arrive, it is at my doorstep! - And I live in Portugal so it is not just around the corner!

So far - there has never been any mistakes in any of my orders.
So - considering all these positive points, I am a happy bunny!

Very happy with purchase and service

My products which were a gift, arrived very promptly and look very nice. I originally ordered the wrong products but they were quite quickly returned and the refund came promptly as well. I was pleased with the price and quality seems fine. I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere else, so I would recommend the company.

I have bought kindle covers as presents before from mobilefun.co.uk and been very pleased with the quality and the service was excellent, so decided to buy some Christmas presents from them again this year and once again I am pleased with the products and the quick efficient service, would recommend and buy from them again

Great range of products and A1 Service

I was looking for a replacement FM Transmitter for my iPhone 4S to use in my car. Eventually went for the AW40 unit as it was bluetooth so didn't need to plug into the socket of my phone and I didn't have to take the case off every time I wanted to use it.

Mobilefun's service was excellent, ordered one day and received the following day and that was a Saturday (all at no extra cost). Their communication is excellent and you know exactly what stage your order's at. I've used Mobilefn a number of times and have always been impressed with their range of products and excellent service

Great price, great product, hassle free purchase. 5 star.

I was looking for a case for the HTC Sensation XE at a decent price (harder than you think) and came across mobile fun on Google. I ended up buying an entire kit including a case, charger, 2 cool stands and an in car holder with charger! It cost me less than a case on its own, so a bit of a no brainer really. The order process was great, I was kept fully informed and they shipped to an alternative address to the one my card was registered to which typically causes complications when checking out. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. The kit arrived really quickly and was top quality.

MobileFun....Absolute Fun to buy from!!!

MobileFun are just simply one of the best online stores I have ever purchased from.
They keep you informed about your purchased, let you know the exact despatch and arrival date and they have never been late.

The website is really good and easy to navigate with good solid product descriptions and plenty of pictures, so you know what you are getting.

MobileFun are very competitive with their prices, you may be able to find some things cheaper maybe on ebay. But I don't like to gamble with my money and hope that the item turns up and some point...not exactly sure when and is it going to be exactly as described.

If there is a problem with your order or you change your mind MobileFun have an excellent customer service reputation, so they always will address a query or just answer any question you may have.

MobileFun are just fun to buy from and you get exactly what you pay for. Everything is always very well packaged and as I said items always arrive on time.
You cannot go wrong when shopping with MobileFun...by far the best selection, prices and service. 10 Stars as I don't think 5 is enough.

It was not just the product but the whole buying experience

The above caption says it all really. I found the browsing of the website so easy and very well laid out without too much clutter. Finding the product I wanted was a breeze on Mobilefun and the quality of the service was just first class. I was kept well informed of when the item would be dispatched and equally when it was dispatched. For an item to arrive next day using first class post is just brilliant although I do understand it is out of the company's hands once the courier gets hold of it. I ordered around 3pm and my item arrived next morning. This company not only look professional, they are professional and I would recommend them to anyone and in fact have already done so. Its a fact of life that mistakes can and will be made no matter how good a company is however I think I would rather it happened with a company I could trust who will undoubtedly sort it out in a timely manner. Use Mobilefun, you wont regret it

Good but can make improvements within ordering system free postage system

I have purchased a number of items from mobile fun the website is easy to use goods are dispatched and delivered quickly and I would give them 5 stars but for the fact the free postage system has not worked for me yet. You enter the code etc but the total remains the same; postage fior me has never been deducted thanks to glitches in the system so it seems. Having said this you may think why 4 stars well take postage against fuel insurance and running costs of car to get up town it still works out cheaper. If mobile fun sorted this or where free postage applies it was never added to the order in the first place then 5 stars all the way

I can sum it up in one word "EXCELLENCE".

I have had a lot of things from Mobile Fun and have not been disappointed.
You get an easy to look at page and it doesn't give you any B.S. what you see is what you get.
Its next day delivery well packaged and plenty of padding to protect what your buying and that to me is not what you get from other sites.
I have "NEVER" had a problem with Mobile Fun.

Have used Mobile Fun now for many years. they are the first place I search when I need something. Always end up at Mobile Fun at the end of the day, because there seems to be more to choose from, good prices and good deals, also a great customer service. Even if I don't need anything I still like browsing the web site, 'window shopping'. Love 'em.

Très déçu car le mauvais produit m'a été envoyé!

Envoi dans les temps mais le produit livré n'était pas celui que j'avais commandé! Bien que la documentation et le packaging soit le bon, à l'intérieur du sac, il s'agissait d'un autre produit...
Etrange. Comment cela peut-il se produire?
J'attends de voir comment Mobilefun va gérer cette situation en termes de frais de port pour le retour et en termes de remboursement ou de remplacement par le bon produit.

Forget the Fast and Furious, think Mobile Fun!

We ordered our new mobile phone cases for our new phones on the Friday afternoon around 4pm, and assumed that they would be delivered on the Monday.....BUT they were delivered on the next morning (Sat) around 9.30am! Amazing service, fast delivery and great people. We at www.petsuppliesdirect.co.uk are so pleased that our phone covers are now protected and secure. We will be back again for something different...thanks again!

Great customer service

Ordered a phone cradle which arrived promptly. Very pleased with the product but the plug broke on the charging cable. Contacted customer support at Mobilefun and they immediately sent me a new cable with no questions or hassle.
Would definitely use again.

I never review products or companies, but I ordered my case and cable for the S3 on sunday night, and had it with Tuesday mornings post. Fast, wide range of products, and good prices ! Cant beat it !

Ended up with nothing but still lost postage costs

I'm an avid online purchaser, I prefer the choice and keen pricing. However, I also expect good customer service and a pleasing shopping experience. Mobilefun certainly delivers on the choice and pricing, but my experience certainly fell well short on the rest.

I ordered a magnetic case for my new Nexus 7, eagerly awaiting delivery. When it arrived, the package looked somewhat small. It turns out that their warehouse had felt that my Nexus 7 would look better in a Samsung Galaxy S3 case. No matter how hard i tried I couldn't squeeze my 7 inch tablet into this phone case.

No problem i thought, i'll give them a call. Oh, wait, there was noone to talk to. I tried various options, each one a recorded response directing me with instructions to the website.

So after an email, and response within a time thatwas acceptable, i had to fill in a return request, print the free return postage and package up, and take the incorrect item to a collect+ store, across the other side of town. At my own cost of course, for a mistake i hadn't been the cause of.

Then, a four to five day wait for the item to be returned to their warehouse. I could walk it there quicker than that.

At this point, and only then, would they send out the correct item. Only, as it turns out, they couldn't as it was no longer in stock.

So, having waited 10 days from ordering to having the item returned to their warehouse, i now had a refund applied to my card for the item cost, no item, and a loss of the initial postage cost which was not returned. All due to the incompetence of their despatch process.

So, will i order from them again? No, despite them having a few items i'd been wanting to purchase for my Nexus i will wait for them to become available elsewhere and purchase with confidence. As for the Nexus 7 case, i bought one in a major retailer and had no issues.

Need to start looking at the quality of the items they sell

Ordered a case for my SGS3 recently, ended up having to bin it as the buttons recesses are so badly moulded they turn the phone on and off and the volume up and down if you so much as look at the screen. It also appears to have two holes in the back of the case which shouldn't be there, the headphone socket hole isn't lined up and it rips the back off the phone whenever you remove it. I wish I could say it was the first problem I've experienced with this company but the last case I ordered was also damaged.

Amazing Selection

After receiving my new phone, I struggled to find decent accessories at the various, local, mobile stores. A quick Google search pointed me to Mobilefun, and I was amazed at the selection available. Initially, I was only in the market for a case, but found a great deal on a car kit, and decided to buy both. Unfortunately my first order was lost in the post, somewhere in the shipping process - I emailed Mobilefun and received an immediate response. I received my package three days later, and was extremely happy with both products.

Top class service, and have already started recommending to friends.

I deal with many companies in my purchases; some very good, some not so good and a surprising number diabolical.

Well, I am very happy to report MobileFun shine within a small group of my top companies of all time.
From viewing their web site which is simple to operate but plentyful in content (and I don't just mean in items available), to placing your hassle free order and eventually to delivery which also includes a text if you provide your mobile phone number. Reliable Company with loads of great gadgets, cheap as well

I have bought loads from this company and they have never let me down, and latest purchase was another set of bluetooth headset. (no particular reason I have a few, I just seem to like headsets) They are cheaper than amazon 9 times out of 10 and their website is really easy to use. Definitely a good company to buy from.

Poort Quality Product

I received my order after a wait of almost two weeks, despite it being 'in stock'. The phone case I ordered for my Galaxy S3 was poor quality and didn't fit well. (http://ie.mobilefun.com/35132-flexishield-case-for-samsung-galaxy-s3---clear.htm)

Added to this was the fact that on contact with the back of the S3 you had air pockets that you could never get rid of that made it look terrible. When you buy a lovely phone you want a case that compliments the looks of the phone and protects the phone too. It does not look good, especially in the clear version, and the fit could be a lot better. Not great really!

All in all my opinion is that Mobilefun are charging premium prices for cheap sub-standard products. I have seen these cases for less than half the price in my local phone shop...

I've just bought a Kindle Case which has a light attached to it so that I can read in bed without disturbing my husband. The case was as described, great quality, an excellent price and delivered the next day.

one of the box contents was missing in the box. the representative was very positive and supportive and shipped a replacement item in one day by dhl with no hassle. by the way I live in Turkey. so 5 star from me...:)
