Ridiculous!

First they wrote me a week after ordering my wedding dress and said that it was oversold. They tried to make it up to me with a coupon, when I used it it did not go through. I was then charged twice! All THREE of their staff I talked to were RUDE. They blaimed me for using the website wrong and refused to allow the lower priced to be charged!

Adore the styling but hate the prices.

I cannot get over how fab most of the items on Modcloth looks. Where else can you put together a 1930's or 1940's look from the hat, to the coat, to the shoes, without actually hunting down vintage pieces?
The prices, however, ruin the site. While I could pay their asking prices, I usually decline to. I'm not going to pay $300 for a coat, when I'm certain that the quality wouldn't even be worth $50. You read all the time on Modcloth reviews how shoes fall apart after three days, coats being the same quality as Kmart, and clothing having bogus measurements.
Modcloth is all style and no substance. If you are going to gouge someone, at least make sure I'm getting what I pay for.

Gorgeous Clothes - Steep Prices

I love to drool over the items at Modcloth. They are simply gorgeous - especially the dresses and the shoes (oh, the shoes!). When I have made purchases, I've been pleased with the shipping speed. I've also been able to make returns without a hitch - their process is very customer-friendly. My only beef with Modcloth is the price. I would shop here a lot more if the prices didn't border on the ridiculous.

Mod Cloth Vintage Heaven

I don't love ModCloth but I don't hate it either.

I found shipping was quite reasonable.
The quality of the clothes were okay.
Pricing of the actual clothes were a bit steep as sometimes you find the exact same things on similar websites at half the price.

If you are a vintage lover. Sure there are great one offs for those who can't be bothered or hate vintage shopping. The prices seem alright probably the same amount they would fetch on eBay.

Great online store for lovers of vintage girly quirky clothes.

I love the vintage look without having to thrift - is that bad, my secret is out, I hate to thrift!

Great stuff, but way too expensive.

Modcloth is a really beautiful site. It's got gorgeous clothes, it's just too bad that everything is outrageously overpriced.

I bought a small skirt, and 2 pairs of pantyhose. With shipping that order came to around 100 dollars.

In short, gorgeous merchandise, great service, but insane prices.

Great Selection, Too Pricey

I absolutely love Modcloth. They have a huge selection and update their site every single day with new items.

I have one qualm with them, however: PRICE.

I have purchased items from Modcloth before, but upon browsing the internet later would find the same item I bought on other sites for WAY cheaper. Before purchasing from Modcloth, I always check the internet for other places I can buy the same item. Good sites to check are:

Lulu's
Shopruche
Threadsence
Asos

On several occasions I have actually found that buying from the designer directly, has been cheaper than buying items from Modcloth.

Do your research, Modcloth loves your money.

Love this store.

*I got the dress about a day and a half after I ordered, which I was extremely pleased about.

*I loved both of the dresses I purchased. Both were in good condition, with the exception of one having wrinkles I cannot get out.
Other than that, the dresses are beautiful.
