Wow, i order on the 11th august and my bed arrived 4 days later, the service has been brilliant, as an elderly person living alone i was a little concerned about how i would get on with ordering from an internet company, well i went to the right one!! nothing was too much trouble, and i would really like to thank the delivery driver, chris. he is a star, thanks again to all at monster beds ps my daughter has just orderded a big divan, please look after her, im sure you will.
I ordered a bed and a mattress on 9th August online at 19.00pm. The next day 10th August I found out the same bet and a better mattress 20% cheaper. Immediately I cancel the order by calling them and also sent an email requesting to cancel the order.
On 11th August I received an email confirming that my order is cancelled and as per the terms and condition 5% of the order value will be deducted and rest will be paid into my credit card with in 30 days.
Towards end of August I started to call the customerr service and asking for the status of the refund. Always told that it will be refunded very soon.
30 days deadline is gone and I sent an email to Customer service asking why my refund is not given yet. No reply received yet. Almost called everyday since 11th August and everytime call was picked up by the same person in the reception and gave me the same answer that account team is either very busy that he cannot get to them or he will say it will be processed very soon.
Today I decided that enough is enough that I will share my experience with others by writing a review about this company and their service .
It is nearly 38 days since I cancelled my order, till now I have not received any return phone call or email from them saying that when my refund will be processed. Very Very poor service. I will never deal with them again.
The day I posted the review comment I got the call from the boss of the company. He was very polite and accepted that I received very poor service. He told usually the return orders will be dealt with in a week but some reason this is not happened in my case.
He told me that they already credited my money to my account. He also mentioned that they waived the 5% admin charges and credited the full order amount. That's nice and also told that they already sent me 2 memory foam pillows as good will gesture. I can confirm I received it today.
People/Companies do make mistakes but how quickly they correct it makes them a good company. Based on this experience I am happy to give the benefit of the doubt and revise my rating to 4 stars.
Ordered from spain for deleivery when i arrived in the uk, it arrived exactly on time and date ordered. unfortunatley the frame did develop a fault, however the customer service was exceptional, i was worried that i would be left hanging at the end of a telephone, no way, calls were returned promptly and every effort was made to remedy the situation, ending with myself choosing a replacement item, which again arrived on time with a cheerful friendly driver. i have no hesitatiion whatsoever to recommend this company fully.
Certain high street brand names could learn a lot from Monsterbeds, in both the on-line shopping experience and customer service. We can't rate Monsterbeds highly enough. The price, delivery and product were all top class and when we took the time to write to them with our thanks, the response was quick and very much appreciated. So rest assured you can shop with total confidence at Monsterbeds.
I think it is only fair to say that i must eat humble pie. Let me explain.......I recieved a call this morning from the managing director of monsterbeds. Daniel. He could not have been more appologetic or helpfull. He was genuinely concerned about my treatment and nothing was too much trouble for this gentleman. He had already refunded my payement before he rang. I change my review to TRUST THIS COMPANY. Having spoken to Daniel i now accept that the bug going around the office was not an excuse. He was genuine. No doubt about that. He assures me that he takes customer service very seriously and does not like his customers let down. He took the time to read reviews on trustpilot and acted on them. All credit to the gentleman for doing that. I hope my review did not put people off monsterbeds. Believe me they care. Sop at monsterbeds with confidence.
Dave. . . You, your delivery guy and Monsterbeds are simply GREAT. The customer care has been wonderful, particularly your quality control before and after delivery. Retired surveyor and his teacher son had fun putting a well designed product together. Thank you, we would not hesitate to have a Monsterbed Experience again!!
This is the best company I have dealt with over the internet! There was a quality problem with the item I ordered and I thought here goes this is where the trouble starts. I was wrong! They dealt with the replacement very efficiently, a chap called Dave keeping me fully informed all of the way. The item was delivered by their own very pleasant driver who collected the item I was unhappy with. Buy from this company with confidence every time! I have already passed their name on to firends and family.
I ordered a bed frame over the internet, and was very impressed with the speed of service. The instructions were very straightforward and I assembled the frame myself in a short space of time. The delivery was prompt, and I have already recommended the site to friends and relatives. Would definitely use this company again.

We started off happy to find the bed we wanted for our son was available quickly through monsterbeds........ When we chased to find out when it was being delivered and ask for a specific day - actually later than originally thought- we got an email saying that it was now suddenly out of stock - not as advertised on website and no one bothered to tell us until we chased it...
My wife chased up by phone and eventually was told that it was coming into stock later that week and we'd have it the following Thursday, but we'd get a call the day before..... The day before delivery was due.. we recieived no phonecall. My wife phoned and was told it had only just come into stock that day but was definitley there and was scheduled to be specially delivered to us in one of monsterbeds own vans the following week..I phoned to see what was going on and was told a slightly different story, asked to speak to a manager and was told that the managers name was Dave and would get a call back...No callback so I called the following day and asked to speak to the despatch manager Dave again and was put onto an Alex. I was assured that the bed would turn up next week, I explained my young son had been sleeping on a matress on the floor for two weeks now because of their hold ups.... Another week went by same story yet again. ... Tried again this week having been assured yet again that monsterbeds were personally delivering it today but we'd get a call yesterday... no call as usual... lots of phonecalls today.... aparently they sent it by courier for delivery before 1pm today and we'd get a call 30 mins before delivery. No show, so we called again and were told the courier had had a problem and was delayed in traffic but would be with us...... Eventually it was delivered at 5pm. No phonecall 30 mins before... The courier categorically stated that she never hasd us down for a delivery before 1pm and would never have been able to make that.
Their "customer reps" -sorry cant call them customer service as this just does not apply at all with this company in our experience- cant seem to agree who their managers are or what they do, except that we were repeatedly told when asked to speak to the manager director Dan King that he was "impossible to get hold of". Repeated requests for him to call and explain this whole fiasco over the weeks has resulted in... yes you guessed it No phonecall whatsoever.
Make your own minds up but from our experience we will NEVER go back to suffer this appaling lack of service again.

Hi, i would just like to say thank you for the excellent service your company has provided during my recent order for a bed. I found your staff courteous and efficient. The order was processed quickly and i was contacted by the dispatch team the same day. The dispatch team again was courteous, efficient and thorough in making sure they knew exactly where my address was and the bed was delivered at the exact time i was told on the phone. Again thank you for this wonderful service, i will gladly recommend your company to friends in the future.
When I placed the order on the 31st March I specifically asked if the goods were in stock and told 'YES', the money was taken from my account within 30 hours, when I did not hear from the company I contacted them to be told it was not in stock but 'soon', as I am heavily pregnant my child's furniture is need as a matter of urgency, again I was told possibly mid May for the delivery. I cancelled the order on the 29th April and as of the 14th May I am still waiting for a refund, I have been told that it takes '30 days' for a refund. Several attempts to speak to the accounts department have had no success. I find this totally unacceptable as the funds were taken immediately for goods that were not even in stock in the first place. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.....

I had been searching for weeks to find a new mattress as ours was well past its sleep by date! Never thought I would be shopping online for one but gave it a go and we are very happy with the result. The only shock was it came rolled up but when we took it out of the packaging it unfolded and expanded to size and was ready to get the marriage back on track ;0 Wife now well happy!!! Cheers.
I have now just recieved my new bed from monsterbeds, after speaking with there polite staff last thursday the managing director called back friday morning and appologised for the delivery companys missed appointment and promised us our bed for today. Not only have we got our bed on time but as an added bonus they have upgraded our mattress as well. Top marks for monsterbeds as they have restored our faith in british industry
I would without hesitation recommend this company and have to done to family and friends already...
I ordered a wardrobe, there emails response was ultra fast...The delivery service was quick and the driver was polite and helpful. At the time of ordering "FREE DELIVERY" this is always a bonus, were some sites were offering same wardrobe at a similar price but hiking the price with £25 to £45 delivery... So in that respect this company gets a big thumbs up...

I dont normally leave feedback but after the performance from monsterbeds.co.uk I felt I had to sing their praises! I purchased a double size divan and had to pinch myself when I saw the price. I was thinking there must be a catch, like extra delivery charges or add the VAT on at the end like other websites do. But everything was as shown and the price was the price as shown. Ordering was simple, info from the company was better than others, delivered on time and what a bed!!! FANTASTICO!!! We are all too often ready to complain when something goes wrong but rarely give credit when credits due, so well done everyone!!!

I placed the order on the Thursday afternoon and had it delivered the following Monday, all packaged extremely well and the delivery driver was very friendly and helpful.
I was extremely pleased with the price at monsterbeds and they are by far the cheapest around that I could find and their site was very user friendly, couldn't ask for more.
I will recommend you to any one, TOP MARKS + BEST BEDS - keep up the good work....

never again will i buy anything on line again the bed i brought it was a nightmare the bed i brought kept on braking they sent replacement slat's which broke as well and when i asked for my money they said no and sent more slat's i when to C,A,B who helped me write a letter. But the company still refused to give me back my money the bed was only 4 months old never never never again KEEP AWAY FROM THE COMPANY I willing to pay more money 4 a better and service
I only have praise for the company, they excelled in every way. The product is very good and the price is outstandingly cheap. I had seen a bed that was exactly the same as this, but over £100.00 dearer.
The delivery was on time and the staff could not have been more polite and helpful.

i bought a next day delivery bed and matteress, money taken from my account ok... they called me the next day to explain it was out of stock and had no idea when it would be back in. i then ordered an alternative 2 weeks later and a further 2 days off work waiting because they telephoned me to advise of delivery. i still have no bed!!!
i called the 0845 number and found the manager Chris to be very offensive and rude in his attitude telling me he was doing me a favour! what to deliver a bed on time i had already paid for! Hmmmmm.
I would just like to say how pleased I am with the service given to me on ordering my bed. I was told it would be delivered in 1 to 3 days and, indeed, it was. The delivery driver rang me to say where he had left it, as I was at work. I would also like to say that the quality of the bed is amazing and the clear and concise instructions made it easy to put together. It took me just 1 ½ hours to unpack everything and put it all together on my own (really good for a girl!). I am now enjoying my new bed and have been singing your praises to all who will listen. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone.
I ordered two beautiful pieces of furniture, one of which was unfortunately being discontinued. However, Monsterbeds telephoned me immediately to let me know and helped me find another piece that would fit perfectly with the first. They really know their stock and should great integrity and pride in providing a excellent and personal service. Their prices are remarkable in comparison to many of their competitors. I will definitely be ordering my furniture through them again.
I had found a bed I really liked and was comparing internet prices when I found Monsterbeds. I was a little apprehensive about using a company unknown to me but decided to give it a try as the price was so good. Glad I did ! Site was informative & easy to use. The bed arrived nice & early on the arranged day and I also received a phone call beforehand. The bed was well packaged, easy to put together and is gorgeous. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They were prompt, polite, and the product is superb. The quality is BETTER than i expected. Delivery was within the 14day timescale which it clearly states on the site 7-14 day delivery.. PERFECT..
The delivery driver was very helpful and cheery.
I even rang the company to change the colour of the bed i ordered, my own mistake ordering the wrong colour. I didnt think they would be able to change it but they did, no problems what so ever. The guy on the phone rang me within and hour of me emailing them to change it and confirmed it had been done.
Very polite on the phone and did everything to help.

After purchasing our bed we were supposed to be contacted regarding a delivery date. Two weeks passed with no contact, so we phoned to book one. For some reason they only deliver in our area (Brighton) on Fridays so I had to book time off work to be in to receive it.
Another two weeks later and we are in, on the arranged day, waiting for the bed to arrive. At 2pm we phone to confirm it has been dispatched, only to be told that the van broke down and so it would not be delivered today. They had made no attempt to contact us - had we not called then we would have waited all day for nothing. To cap things off we arranged for our old bed to be collected the same day so we were left sleeping on the floor. Thankyou, Monster Beds.
As it stands I have had to take a second day off work and am now waiting to see if it turns up today. Their office is closed on weekends so I cannot contact them to find out if it will come or not.
Overall we have had to wait nearly a month for our new bed (assuming it arrives today). Awful company, avoid like the plague.
Using the website was a breeze, excellent range, good choice of options, easy to place order. I queried a delivery time so phoned in the end, and met with polite efficient service. It arrived in good order, was simple to put together, and I am far more satisfied after having two beds from inferior companies since 2000, so was delighted to finally make an excellent choice with what was an unknown company to myself.
WOW! Bed ordered on Tues, delivered Wednesday! Excellent item, helpful, courteous staff, friendly delivery driver. What else is to be said? Will be back soon for a mattress, and will be telling my friends about Monsterbeds.co.uk for sure!
Brought a bed and mattress last week. Was delivered when they said at the aggreed time.
Bed very good had a small part missing so I dropped them an E mail at the weekend and they phoned me Monday saying the part was in the post.
I will use this firm again and would recommend to anyone
The double bed base I ordered arrived when they said it would,they kept me informed regarding delivery status both by email & a returned telephone call.The staff were friendly polite and very helpful.The bed was excellent quality and easy to build.All this and at a fantastic price too!

The company is rapidly expanding and in the process of moving into bigger warehousing - clearly they're doing something right. I now understand that the transferring of their phone system has been causing them (and their customers) great inconvenience.
