I have used moonpig for years and have sung their praises to everyone, until something finally went wrong today. I ordered 3 cards, got the current offer of 3 for 2, placed my order, then found that the e-mailed confirmation gave me 4 cards instead of three negating the 3 for 2 offer. I sent an e-mail but resolved that it would be quicker to call, I found the phone number was left with a ringing phone for a while before it was finally answered by their call centre. I explained the problem, and he just stated that I obviously selected to copy it, I politely told him that I had not, but was constantly rebutted with that it was my fault. Funnily enough being a web developer I know how websites work, I read every checkbox, ensure every drop down list is on the correct value before submitting any page so this was just insulting.
They did eventually agree to provide me with a refund of the money which was debited from my account but I must say that the person on the end of the phone was arrogant and rude.
Will I use moonpig again - probably, but hopefully I will never have to put up with the arrogant, rude and obnoxious staff which seem to man their call centres.
