Order my mother flowers, card for mothers day , finally just turned up at 3.15pm 31st march, they are disgusting half dead flowers that are over priced and could have bought a better bunch for £5.00 from aldi, ive taken photos if these flowers and only wish I could post it on here to show how pathetic the flowers look! The delievery guy showed mum his work sheet and apparently they was only ordered yesterday from moonpig when I ordered on the wednesday plenty of time for mothers day! Moonpig needs to get their acts together and stop charging outrageous prices for crap flowers! I will in future not be using them again or be recommending them!
Only ever ordered cards and never had a problem. They always turn up on time and are of good quality. The only thing I am annoyed about is the postage charge. I often order 2 or 3 cards at a time and have them sent to my home address, but I am charged postage for each individual card. Why cant they be put into one package to save on postage that I am paying for !!
Paid £36.50 for flowers to be delivered on Mother's day. £6.50 for Mother's day delivery. My poorly Mother didn't get to receive her flowers or card on Mother's day and I am upset and disgusted at Moonpig and their Yodel courier for letting this happen. I can see the same has happened to a lot of customers too. I'm beginning to wonder whether they knew this would happen but thought they'd make more money just continuing to make orders they couldn't fulfil. Greedy and disgusting.
Ordered flowers and gifts for Mother's Day, paid additional courier charge only to not have flowers and gifts turn up. Waited on phone for over 25 mins to speak to a representative and all he says is I can refund your money and give you a £5.00 voucher added to your account. Now thats a lot of good Mother has no gift and its too late to arrange something else. What use is a voucher when it seems that I wont be using this bloody company again.
Be wary of the obvious few fake 5 star reviews. No delivery despite paying over the odds for some nice flowers as a birthday surprise. Customer service might as well be mythological for the amount of times I've got through to them, which is to say: not once over three days.
Number is an 0845 number too which cost a fortune waiting on any kind of response.
I ordered my Mothers Day flowers a week early just to be on the safe side, the flowers were delivered or should I say dumped in my Mothers porch, no card so I sent an email to Moon Pig who were full of apologies and said they would send a replacement, the replacement still has not arrived I am now on the telephone trying to complain to someone and so far have been holding 14 minutes. My recommendation is that you do not even consider using this Company because they have no idea of SERVICE.
I've used Moonpig many many times and they've never let me down. Great for personalising cards and sending direct at the last minute, great for sending to me so I can sign and send on. Great for the Christmas card 'inner circle'. And always fantastic for Mothering Sunday: on time, not left with nosey neighbour as per instructions, and lovely selection of flowers, beautifully presented. Well done!
This was my first product purchase from Moonpig and I ordered some flowers with vase & a card for Mother's Day, delivery was quick and it came on time, credit should go to the logistics company for that one.
On the internet the flowers looked great, nice and big... what a let-down. Once they arrived, they came in a big box which was deceiving, I opened it up to find that the flowers looked as if they had been chemically manipulated to only grow half the size of their potential. Not only that but the leaves were frayed and the flowers themselves looked like they had seen better days. They were DEFINATELY NOT worth the £30.00 I paid for them.
Alongside this, when I designed the card online, I skipped the inside sections because I wanted to hand-write this because it looks more authentic. I selected the delivery option of delivering to me as opposed to my Mum. When I opened the box and found the card, IT WAS IN A SEALED MOONPIG ENVELOPE. By the time I had noticed that this was the case it was too late, I did not have time to try and find an envelope, so what did I do? I un-sealed it, wrote in the card and then glued the envelope shut. Not the most practical thing.
It's a real shame I had this experience because there is a lot of potential here and the concept of Moonpig is great however it would seem their service and practicality is letting them down - Reluctantly I can't see myself using Moonpig.com again in a hurry, all in all it was a bit of a rip-off. I could have got much better elsewhere.
Not even worthy of 1 star. Absolutely disgusting service. My daughter has paid almost £40 for Mother's Day flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day but no delivery. She is really upset to say the least. Don't use this company
The cards are a great idea but do not think the flowers will look anything like they do on line. My mum was so sad to feedback to me the pitiful posy i had sent her which was £30!!! broken flowers, leaked container and all flowers were so small she couldn't unerstand why they sent them in such a huge box. Will not be using Moonpig again after feeling i have let my mum down..perhaps companys need to realise the effect of poor quality on individuals rather than just trying to make big money out of events!
30th March 2014 Just received flowers for mothers day 4 o'clock on Sunday which had been dispatched on the 28th March 2014. The roses at the tips are all brown and the daisy type flowers are all withered. Also they were poorly packed and lying on their side at the foot of the very large box in a jug. The bottom of the box was all wet still can't understand why as there was no water in the jug. I really feel sorry for people that are using this company and thinking they are getting good value. I will be informing my son never to use this company again. 31st March 2014 - 5.10 pm Still haven't got an email back from them re my complaint and also have been trying to contact Moonpig by phone several times today however kept getting all operators are busy. The longest I waited was 10 mins so I am now going to write to them.
I use Moonpig regularly and never have any complaints. However, I ordered a Mother's Day card on Friday, expecting next day delivery. After reading my confirmation email, it isn'f going to be delivered until Tuesday. 2 days late. I will use Moonpig again.
I ordered flowers and paid special delivery for Mother's Day , they haven't arrived so far. When you pay £9 special delivery you would think they'd at least arrive by the afternoon, Mother's Day is basically over now. You'd be better off going to morrisons.
Ordered beautiful flowers for my mother on the 26th. I put in the selection for them to be delivered on the 30th. I wanted it to be surprise for my mum who still thinks I haven't got her anything. I've been waiting and waiting for these flowers to arrive. I spent £30 on the flowers and for a 15 year old that is a lot. It seems such a waste now that they're not going to be here on Mother's Day. Very disappointed, Will not be using this again and I wouldn't recommend others to either.
Useless, inconsiderate, uncaring company that I will never deal with again. Ordered the other half a £2.99 Mother's Day card and paid nearly £10 extra for delivery, NOT ARRIVED. Also ordered my mum some flowers and card, NOT ARRIVED. Thanks moonpig you wan#€rs
When searching the site I decided upon a nice bunch of flowers, it did however not offer a delivery option for the 30th March so instead I opted for another bunch not as lovely as the first (but still nice) to gain that delivery choice- So why were they then delivered on the 29th not the 30th? I even paid extra to get a Mother's Day Delivery- please don't give the option if you can't fulfil it. Also disappointed with the standard of flowers, for the price it was not what I expected.
