I couldn't quite believe it when my delivery arrived only 33 hours after placing my order!!!!! I ordered a bottle of pink champagne & two flutes for my mum's 70th birthday. The packaging was excellent and looks extremely professional. Card is fab too, and again came with a stiff cardboard envelope to prevent damage during transit. I really am inpressed with the service & quality of goods. Will definately order from MoonPig again.
Ordered a card for valentines day on the 10th of Feb for our first valentines day being engaged to my fiancée. It Still hasn't arrived to me. Pointless really, I Have e-mailed twice but still have no reply about it. Will not use this site again and will not recommend it to anyone!! Go to the shop people at least you know you will get a card. And for half the price.
I have used moon-pig on many occasion , Christmas , valentines day , Mother's Day , new baby , and birthdays and have always received the goods or my relations , friends have on time , I have no complaints , very pleased with my orders
I have been using Moonpig for many years, I have family out in Australia and we enjoy sending uploaded photo cards for birthdays, christmas etc. The photographs have always been very sharp and over the years despite the fact that other companies have come along copying Moonpig I would not change from using them - customer loyalty is the key to my life - I had one problem and that was a large card which failed to arrive , this was to Ireland and in fact the member of staff was extremely helpful, I was given the choice of my money back or they would get another card done immediately, I chose to have the card - the person who it was destined for was over the moon. Also once registered with Moonpig they will send you reminders so you dont forget anyone's card.
ordered a card on the 31st of January for valentines day, this card was supposedly lost in the post, and they said they will send it out again, it has still not come! i am very disappointed and gutted that my partner did not receive a card, something so simple and moonpig can not get this right. its not that hard to send a card out.
Have used Moonpig for about eight years. I always use them for family/friend's birthdays and often their christmas cards. I like being able to order from my sofa knowing the rest is done for me. I've always found Moonpig to be extremely reliable, helpful and with a wide range of interesting and amusing cards - I especially love to be able to personalise them. The charges are reasonable and I've always had perfect service which is why my habit is always to go straight to Moonpig if the occasion warrants. Everyone is delighted by their cards, people enjoy personalised cards and they seems o amuse them very much. I've never had a single problem with this company, quite the reverse.
A Valentine's card is an important item! I ordered a large one in good time, but the card wasn't just late- it has never been delivered. And just as bad, it seems impossible to get through to seek an explanation, and a refund. At around £7 for one card, this matters. No way to do business Moonpig, and no way to keep your customers. 0r perhaps you don't mind going out of business. Perhaps you wouldn't mind returning what I spent on the Valentine's card plus my credit balance...
Left 2 emails and have now been on the phone for 5 minutes, maybe due to all the other people having problems. I would warn everyone to steer clear of this company they just don't care about you at all
The flowers arrived in a cardboard box, terrible presentation... On Opening the box 2 dozen red roses were squashed together, dull, the buds were hardly opened. The card inside the box was bent and damp. Called Moonpig to complain but line was busy, probably others complaining already about their orders. I will not be purchasing from Moonpig again, even their customer service is terrible.
Having used Moonpig before with no problem, I ordered a dozen red roses for my wife for Valentines day. I was very disappointed that for such an important day they could they could foul up so much. The package arrived very early in the morning of the 14th (8.20am) The packaging was excellent and the flowers were very secure in the box. However when unwrapping the bunch I noticed that a lot of the petals were yellowy brown and many of the leaves looked droopy. Some of the flower stems were brown & floppy. The instructions mentioned that it was normal for the outer petals to be darker than the rest, as they were protecting petals and could be removed or would drop off to allow the inner petals to unfurl. What I didn't expect was for most of the petals to just fall off leaving tiny bud like remains on the stems. Many of the green leaves shrivelled up and died within a day of placing in the vase of water. All in all very disappointed with the flowers.
Ordered flowers, a vase and a personalised card from Moonpig, on 05/02/14 (specifically the 'pure love' flowers, as i wasnt going for the traditional 12 or 24 red roses, and the belly vase, as this was the 1 used in the picture, and looked very good). Card to be delivered on Wednesday 12th and flowers and vase to be delivered on Valentines Day. Card came when it was supposed to, and (when opened on Valentines Day) was very pleased with it! The day arrived for the flowers delivery and, as time went on, and nothing had arrived, I had to promise that something was coming, and there is just a waiting time of between 8am and 9pm (which is a little silly) When the goods finally did arrive, I signed for them and took the parcel in to give them to my girlfriend Very excited! But when opened, we found that the belly vase had been substituted for a completely different type, and even worse, the 'pure love' flowers I had ordered had been substituted for 24 dying red roses!! Although these were of equivalent value, THESE WERE NOT WHAT I ORDERED! No explanation No contact I'm not impressed with this service!
I ordered 24 Red Roses for my Wife and not only did the delivery not arrive until the day AFTER Valentines Day but only 12 Red Roses arrived. This is the first time my Wife hasn't received anything on Valentines Day which is obviously a huge let down and since we went away for the weekend we weren't in when the flowers (well half the flowers) arrived. When I phoned Moonpig to complain I got an automated message telling me to phone back later due to high call volumes. I suspect that's due to the number of other complaints coming in. I really like Moonpig but this has put my off every ordering again
I ordered Valentines roses and a balloon from Moon pig for my wife, NEVER ARRIVED, even up to t time on Friday I was still hoping they would eventually arrive but no. First time in 10 years my wife has not had flowers on Valentines day. I managed to get through on the Customer Support number on Sat, started trying the number when they opened at 10.30 am didn't manage to get though until 2.50pm !! Spoke to a Lady who did apologize but it didn't sound sincere, prob said sorry to many times already that day to all the others that didn't get their flowers judging by the reviews I've just read, I told her I'd just gone out and bought belated flowers and the response was that I was getting a full refund so that money can go toward the new flowers!! I also requested compensation for the phone call, after holding for around 20 mins at least numerous times that day, she said they don't do that, she offered to put a credit in my Moonpig account for the next time I buy a card. I'm just in the process of writing / e mailing them a complaint requesting the remove the credit from my account as I will not be using them again and that I want compensation. The credit is all of about £3.59!!. This was such a bad service they don't deserve custom. I have told load of people about this, many like me who have used Moonpig prev and never had any problems but all said never again.
Until recently, I would have recommended Moonpig to anyone. However, I have experienced problems lately with uploading photographs for greetings cards. The website keeps saying that I do not have Flashplayer 10 or better installed. This is rubbish, as I have Flashplayer 12 in my list of installed programmes. The only explanation given by the firm's customer services is that I am using Internet Explorer! I shall look elsewhere to send cards online in future.
Just an update.....now the 23rd February 2014 and still no reply either by telephone or personalised email regarding the lack of goods delivery on valentines day which was 9 days ago. Absolutely APPALLING customer service. Never ever experienced such POOR customer service in my life. The worst online purchasing experience I have ever had !!
ATROCIOUS!!!! NEVER AGAIN...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! So angry at the fact MOONPIG are stealing peoples hard earned cash for dead or dying flowers and not delivering the goods paid for. No intention or interest in providing any feedback, communication or contact in relatikn to peoples genuine complaints!!!
Having just read all these reviews I urge all the unsatisfied customers to please contact trading standards. All these stories show the level of MOONPIG. Not one ounce of concern for its customers at all ....just interested in screwing us for our money. Lets stand together and all report this company and make them take note of many unsatisfied angry customers.
Ordered Valentines day red roses for my wife with champagne , chocolates and card. Incorrect tracking number provided so unable to track! The flowers turned up (dying roses) and a card. No champagne and no chocolates. Unable to speak to anyone as the phones were never answered after approximately 10 calls over different days. Left an email and also a contact request online and have heard nothing at all. My wife has also emailed a complaint and if nothing heard we will be approaching trading standards for advice. Will never ever use MOONPIG again. Poor products......goods missing and terrible customer service or even ability to be able to access customer services. ATROCIOUS all round!!!!!! I urge anyone who has had a similar problem to contact trading standards. If we all do this ...this company who have no regard whatsoever for its customers will hopefully be made accountable. My husband ordered a card, 24 red roses, bottle of champagne and box of chocolates as a surprise for my valentines gift. The card arrived, cheap n tacky, with the 24 red roses - 10 of which were dead. I am still waiting for the champagne and chocolates (17th Feb) and it is clear that I will be waiting a long time! Their customer service facility is useless, always suffering a busy period, and never gets back to you. Despite numerous phone calls, emails and website appeals - they just do not care. The money has been taken for the goods but they have not been delivered! Trading Standards is the only option to obtain fair justice! Do not use this company - EVER!
