I contacted the firm for a list of suppliers but there are none in Scotland. I really wanted to try different styles for best fit. I had to choose by style alone. The slippers look lovely but are loose around the side and heel but a bit tight over the front . As I would have to pay return cost and postage for a different style I will keep them but wouldn't t buy again without trying them on.
I have previously bought Morland so know how blissfully comfortable they are. I ordered the wrong size and when I rang to ask if it was possible to change the size the man was extremely friendly, helpful and dealt with my request quickly and without any indication that it was a problem to him or Morland. No keeping me hanging on the line.
Morlands cosy sheepskin lined ballet and moccasin slippers are useful for light outdoor use. They take you from house to car and onwards, or just mooching - you choose. No more dressing up and leaving the warmth of your slippers - you can take them with you. A delight for those with cold feet.
(note, you will not get an extra wide fitting.)
As a Moorlands Slipper fan for over 38 years, my latest purchase did not disappoint.
They are well made, with a heel filler and some back support, this time I choose the brown seaforth, I actually would have liked the damson with the cream full collar, but this was sold out several weeks ago, I find that I have to buy a full size bigger than I normally take, but once you know the sizing it isn't a problem. They wear well and are even washable on the wool programme, use a wool and silk liquid, fabric conditioner, dry slowly away from direct heat, I also pack the inside to keep a reasonable shape, a quick comb and they are good to last a bit longer. Well worth the money for me so treat yourself. I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
I used to wear Morlands boots many years ago so was delighted to find a site for them. I tried the Anna boots which I have returned as I wanted similar, but longer. I also bought some lambskin gloves which are terrific quality and well finished off. The leather edging on the cuff looks very smart. The service was first class. Shall buy from Morlands again.
Having had some leather, sheepskin lined Morlands boots in the 1980s which had proved comfortable, water proof and hard wearing, even in Russian winters, I looked for similar boots in several towns and cities, only to find that Morlands no longer sells via High Street stores. I found their website and loved the look of their Tara boots, but, as my 80s boots had been a snug fit, telephoned to ask what the width of the modern boots was. I found that I was on the borderline of the d/e fitting but decided to go ahead and order. The boots arrived within 3 days of ordering and are beautiful: the ankle and calf are a soft flexible leather like a glove, while the foot is firmer. The lining is warm and thick. the sole is a light rubber "walking boot" sole now called a tracking sole. Unfortunately, although the left foot fits perfectly, my right foot, which is larger, finds the arch of the boot too tight - probably because of the thick fleece lining. It fits without the sock, but I can't wear it without as the sole is too uncomfortable. I am devastated that they don't fit well enough to keep as they are not only warm and cosy but smart. Well polished they should keep out rain and snow, and the sole has the potential for good traction. My only complaint is that I wish they were available in stores so that I could have tried them and their other styles on before committing to buy.
the boots I was interested in for my daughter because the images of the boots you provide on your website did not show a view from the front (and a "bad toe" can ruin boots.) The images didn't show even a tiny bit of the inside of the boots either, so it wasn't clear exactly what fleece the boots were lined with and what colour this was.
I am really glad in the end though that I did order, as when they arrived the boots were gorgeous. I just suggest you change your display on your website so the viewer can rotate the boots and see them from every angle.

Arrived about a week after ordering , packaging good. On opening the box each slipper in its own cloth bag , shoe horn included as well.
Never have I had a shoe horn for slippers , says the Company maintains standards.
I have had a couple of Morlands slippers before and could not find fault , even though my wife thought them expensive.
I am retired now and appreciate any affordable luxury , Morlands have provided that.
Many thanks , a much appreciated Christmas present from my wife.
The service is speedy and courteous. The sheepskin boots are of the highest quality , the shearling is soft, silky and strong and weather resistant ( unlike some other popular brands whose shearling is much rougher to the touch and not waterproof)
The price is also very reasonable for a quality brand.
I have had one pair of boots for 20 years, I had the LINDA boot for 4 years until I eventually wore it out.
Having bought from Morlands before I was comfortable in the knowledge that the quality would not be compromised, and so I perused, decided and ordered on line for the convenience, I was not disappointed, the delivery was quicker than I had anticipated,a pleasant surprise. A comfortable hassle free shopping experience I would recommend!.
Very good quality. Classic designed slippers. Prompt delivery.
Bought some Moreland slippers for myself and my husband for Christmas. Mine felt a little tight around the toes but I shall keep them as I know from past experience that they will give a bit after some use. However, my husband's really were too small in spite of the fact that he bought a size 10 rather than a 9 - his normal size.
There was just not enough width or depth in the front part of the slipper so we are having to send his back. A bit disappointing for such a well-respected name and we hope the firm are not penny pinching by reducing the amount of material used.
Last Sunday I ordered a 'last minute' pair of sheepskin slippers for a friend who had his retirement party last week. I included a message about my need for a speedy transaction and also sent an email. I phoned on Monday just to enquire whether it would all be OK and the lovely person I spoke to had remembered my message and also thanked me for phoning because in order to make it quicker they'd have to pull my order 'out of order!!' to get it moving. She promised to sort it and she did! It arrived on Wednesday and WOWOWOWOOOWEeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - WHAT A PAIR OF SLIPPERS... I was jealous of the guy who got them and so were all his chums! Thank you for fantastic quality and marvellous customer care...
I purchased Sara boots in black. Well cut and attractive but designed to be worn under jeans/trousers and consequently too floppy around the leg to wear with a skirt. Pity the sheepskin lining is light rather than colour matched to the boot. Why not provide two optional cuts (eg for use over jeans/trousers or with skirt) in the design?
I appreciate the fact thatd goods ordered for Christmas can still be returned in January if they do not fit which is very convenient when giving them as presents.
Not the cheapest slippers in the market but the wear factor makes the investment more than worthwhile. Colour choice limited but product is excellent. Any items ordered off the web site are despatched remarkably quickly. I am a repeat customer who will continue to revisit.
The perfect slipper, but unfortunately I ordered a half size smaller to ensure a good fit - I live in a 3 storey London town house with lots of stairs with lots of running up and down! I have re-ordered my correct size and look forward to receiving them.
I was very pleased with how quickly the boots arrived, and I love how warm and cosy they are, I have been looking for warm, toasty leather (so waterproof) boots for ages, and there are hardly any around, so was very pleased when I found these ones at Morlands. I would recommend them to friends.
Super comfortable and practical loafers with option for outdoor use but notice a tendency to have less choice with soft soles for wearing on carpet.
I've been looking for Morlandssheepskin boots for years, remembering a time when mother, grandmother, sister and I wore them every winter. Thought the company had gone out of business, then found an advert in the Guardian. Ordered a pair 'Sara' and was in 7th heaven wearing them all day. They are a perfect fit, keep my feet warm, not hot, are easy to put on and take off (zip opens right down), have soles that will cope with any ground, and also look fashionable. Worth the price.
I saw the advert in the Daily Telegraph for Morlands sheepskin boots. I looked on line and saw their gloves as well and ordered both. The service was excellent, I had a query and sent an E mail, which was responded to almost immediately and in a very personal and friendly manner. The delivery was within a few days but I did not like the boots and was pleased to be able to return them with no hassle. The next pair arrived in days and I am thrilled with them, can't wait for some cold weather to wear them. I bought some Morlands boots in 1963 when we had an exceptonally bad winter. I am still wearing them but of course they are a bit out of date yet ideal for snow when no one is worried about fashion, just keeping warm and dry.
The products are good , as one would expect from an excellent brand
I would definitely recommend their products.
Bought these slippers for my sister as she has wanted a pair since discovering their absolute quality and softness a while ago. They were ordered in the UK on 19 Nov. 2013 and arrived in Nice, France, on the 27 Nov. 2013 (sent direct by Morlands). She is totally delighted with them.
Ordered my wife sheepskin ballet style slippers. Arrived promptly after using the simple and hassle free online ordering system. As expected the product is top quality and my wife is very pleased with her new slippers.
As expected, these comfortable slippers arrived speedily and were exactly as described. Not the first I've had and certainly won't be the last. Sheepskin just can't be beaten for warmth, style and the 'snuggle' factor.Well done, as always, Morlands!
I have always been a great fan of Morlands slippers, buying them regularly over the years & indeed still think they produce good slippers. Sadly though my experience this year has not been as good as in the past. My first pair arrived & were obviously faulty. The fleece didn't fully cover inside and they bulged at the edges and were far too big. These things happen & as the return form said one must ring first if you were returning goods that were faulty, as ones postage would be refunded. I duly did this & was told to "Just fill in the form". I explained I was ringing as per their instruction, but the gentleman just said " We might have to check the whole batch" - no apology. Very speedily & efficiently I received a new pair. However, I had to email to request the refund of postage, which was promptly given.Additionally I wonder if slightly less fleece is being used inside the slippers as they are slightly loose & having had the same size for many years this seems to be the only explanation. I shall certainly return to Morlands in the future, but hope when I do so they are fully back to their usual high standard.
