Very good product delivered promptly.
Having ordered a Mountfield S421HP petrol lawnmower on a Sunday, I was telephoned first thing on Monday morning to say that these were currently out of stock, but Mowdirect could telephone their supplier to find out when they might be available. However, as I wanted the mower urgently, I changed my order to the Al-Ko 42BA 3-in-1 mower which cost 10 pounds more. This was duly delivered at 9 am on Tuesday morning. Excellent service.

GREAT DELIVERY
I ORDERED MY STRIMMER FROM MOW DIRECT AT 8 IN THE EVENING. IT WAS DELIVERED 2 DAYS LATER EXCELLENT SERVICE, UNFORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS AT HOME WHEN THE DELIVERY DRIVER SHOWED UP AND HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS HE ACTUALLY RANG ME AND ASKED IF HE COULD TAKE IT TO A NEIGHBOURS HOUSE, WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR YOU'D NORMALLY JUST GET A CARD THROUGH THE DOOR, GREAT SERVICE
I WILL CERTAINLY USE MOW DIRECT AGAIN.

Great price, great service, great product.
Purchased the rotak 430 ergoflex, best price I could find & came next working day as promised. Mower was quick & easy to assemble & was out mowing my lawn in 30 mins. Cut lawn twice now & very pleased with results. Light, easy to use, would recommend.

A little slower than a Ferrari, but........
My new MD40P mower was easy to assemble, and the first cut was very satisfactory.The petrol engine worked hard, and the only complaint was that the engine appeared to sound under pressure, varying in tone....not as smooth as I expected. Price was £129.99 and this appears very reasonable. The grass bag is not large but it was easy to empty into the compost bin. Fair value with a 2 year warranty.

Decent delivery to Western Isles of Scotland
We ordered the Al-Ko 4210HPD Easy Mow Petrol Power Driven Lawnmower (Honda Engine) on a thursday night on theMowdirect website and delivery was £28 to the western Isles, Free to mainland Uk!
Delivery charges are one of the big bugbears of living in the remoter parts of the U.K.
However a charge of £28 is'nt to bad and the mower was here on the following Monday. All in all very good service, really quick delivery and to top it all an excellent mower.

Prompt service from mow direct, but perhaps use different delivery company
Product arrived as described but only after two attempts from delivery company. First attempt delivery driver arrived and admitted forgetting to pick the item up from depot. Then difficult to get hold of courier to confirm when next delivering as tracking was update incorrectly.

I have now bought a stihl hedgecutter and returned to mow direct to buy my brushcutter.... No problems at all with good customer service within their supply chain with order tracking and friendly direct call from deliveryman. Missed the brush utter delivery as in shower...simply called the drivers mobile and he popped back later with it rather than leave me the inconvenience of driving to the depot (like many delivery companies ).... Excellent!

no oil supplied
Disappointed I had to go out and buy oil as the mower had no oil supplied I did not see any details on the web about omitting oil. I glad when I buy my new cars there is oil in the engine

My lawnmower is like a racing car
Beautiful, Sleek and Red, what a machine I felt like taking it for a spin but realized it was for cutting the lawn. At 190cc this machine is some piece of work and that was looking at it in the box. Getting it out of the box was a slight problem I went for a machine that could handle a large area and had 4 gears and a huge collection box, I could not lift it so I cut away the end of the box and rolled it out, assembling it was easy, I thought I may give it a short spin around the lawn to see how it handled but I had one obstacle in my way, no 4 stroke engine oil, non supplied so I had to order it so my play with this machine will have to wait ,it rained ever since and the oil has not arrived. So guys when you buy a mower of this magnitude would it hurt to supply a bottle of engine oil, having this lawn mower sat in the shed is killing me.

Happy with the price but the service could be improved.
I was principally buying the product on price and therefore was pleased with both the price offered and the free delivery. However, the original purchase offered a the free gift of a petrol can which did not arrive.
Also after ordering on line I never received an acknowledgement of the order by e-mail or notice that the goods had been despatched and consequently when I could expect delivery. This resulted in me making telephone calls on two different occasions to the customer helpline to ascertain the progress with the delivery.

Huge range of mowers!
The Al Ko mower was delivered within two working days! Assembly was not much fun however the mower started first time and is manoeuverable and cuts clean and wide so is perfect for all sizes of lawn. Excellent, speedy, polite service
I ordered a hand-propelled lawn-mower and it was delivered a couple of days later. I paid online by debit card at the time of ordering, but the payment didn't go through immediately so Mow Direct chased it by email. When I contacted my bank the payment had gone through, but 4 days late. I don't know whether this was because of the bank or Mow Direct's system. But it was resolved in the end and the emails were polite and friendly.
