The perfect experience!

I have nothing but praise for this company! Prices are not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for and the quality of their second-hand cameras and lenses is hard to beat.

Selling to them was a breeze, with very fair offers and fast payment.

I recommend MPB without reservation!

Fast and efficient

I have both purchased and sold equipment through MPB Photographic on three occasions in the past year. Each time they have been efficient and given reasonable prices for my old lenses and cameras. I was hesitant initially to send equipment off into the wild blue yonder, along with bank details but there was no need to be concerned! Payment was received almost by return. Will use again

Swift, efficient and helpful

I managed a part exchange, sending a big box of gear and receiving a great refurbished D7000 with no fuss, a few e-mails and 1 phone call. I'm recommending MPB to anyone looking buy new or used gear. I'll certainly use them again

Swift, helpful service, good value

I bought a second hand lens. The member of staff who answered my queries on the phone was helpful and friendly. The lens arrived the next day, in the specified one hour delivery slot, no messing around waiting in all day. The lens was as described and good value when judged against prices on ebay and elsewhere. Would definitely use this company again.

Professional and service minded treatment - smooth and fast transaction

I sold my used lens to them and it went fast and without any hassle. The offered price was in my bank account within 3 working days after they received (and checked) the lens.
I also purchased a used lens and it arrived amazingly fast considering it was to be delivered to Sweden, it took merely one and a half week.

The whole experience was very good and they allways answered fast on e-mail, usually within an hour or two, and the service is exceptional. They even helped me registering the bank account info using my IBAN and BIC codes since I didn't know how to fill out the form for a UK bank account.
They missed to include the lens hood when delivering the lens but they sent me a boxed one instead. They are very service minded indeed.

I absolutely highly recommend MPB and will most certainly be using them again!

Excellent Value and Service

I found MPB when looking on internet, having been offered very low trade in value for two of my lens. My discussion with MPB could not have been better. Very quick response to al the questions I asked via email.. The price I was offered was almost twice that I was offered by my local photography shop. ( this price was for a straight trade in which makes even more impressive.) I was a little concerned that when they received the lens lens they would find a reason to reduce the price, but I need not have worried, the full agreed amount was in my bank account within two days. I would like to congratulate the MPB team for such excellent service.

Wow. Couldn't ask for better

Would like to congratulate the MPB team in such fantastic service. They have made it so easy to exchange kit that they make me want to find what else I could send them! Their staff have been friendly and helpful, the kit pickup was effortless and the responses have been fast and personable.

Superb Service ' you could ask for no more'

I would like to thank the MPB Team for the superb service I received in my PX dealings with them. The prices I received for my second hand kit was very reasonable, and the price I paid for my second hand lens was also a fair price. The contact I had with them through Email and Text was without doubt the best I have ever had. I was kept informed all through the transaction, and I would like to say again " Superb Service " I will definately recommend to others, and will certainly use again myself .

I initially chose MPB photographic as my friend had used them and had highly recommended them to me. I found that their prices are almost comparable with the prices on a famous auction site but there is peace of mind since they offer a 6month warranty. The lens I bought was described as mint and certainly proved to be as described. I am very picky about my gear and am delighted with the condition of the lens. I will certainly consider using them in the future and have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I've dealt with MPB many times i can honestly say they are simply amazing. Quite service, payment is made quickly when selling items and when buying an item, you receive it the next day, PERFECT!!! They are great in honuring the warranty. i had a problem with a button on a one of my two cameras i purchased from them. I have recently part exchanged a lens through MPB Photographic. The service I received from the company was outstanding from beginning to end. I have been most impressed and can highly recommend the company.

Quite naturally, I had some reservations to begin with ; but the professional manner in which the sale was transacted put my mind at rest and that professionalism continued to the moment the new lens was delivered.

Excellent, professional, speedy service.

I wish I'd found this company years ago! I don't have the time these days to find buyers for my used gear before upgrading - this company takes the hassle out of it and gives a fair price to boot! Having done my homework, I know the price MPB gave me for my lens was only slightly lower than I could have got privately but then I didn't have to worry about postage and packing and transaction fees as I would have elsewhere. Top notch service from start to finish, customer care is excellent and all my questions were answered without delay. I shall definitely be coming back, can't rate them highly enough.

Fantastic would definitely recommend

I've used MPB Photographic one two separate occasions and had great experiences both times. I'm not easily pleased but woul definitely recommend this company to friends or anybody thinking about buying new or used camera equipment. First time I ordered a used macro lens (better price than other UK sites). A few friends have ordered slightly cheaper goods overseas, mainly in Hong Kong, but HMRevenue have sent them a Import duty form which adds about 20% on top. It's worth bearing that in mind and buying from a UK company. Second time was earlier this week when I part exchange my old camera body and lens for another used lens (an upgrade). They picked up the goods for free, made sure they were in good condition and are delivering my lens on Monday. Great!

Great prices and top service.Who could ask for more?!?

Just bought a 1Ds mkII camera body from them, described as Exc+ condition. Arrived the next day (great packaging and fully trackable) and it was mint with only 695 actuations on it. Not my first purchase and definitely not my last. 6 months warranty takes the risk out of it, why risk Ebay ever again. Top stuff.

Excellent service and fair trade in prices

Very well organised system for buying in, very polite emails answered promptly and in a friendly manner. I new I could get more for my gear selling it other ways but I did not have the time and I was pleased with the quote I got from MPB which was fair seeing as they are resellers. I am also impressed that they check and test the equipment and will keep an eye on their stock as I would have no hesitation in buying from them.

Fantastic service. As someone has already said, yes, you may be able to get a higher price when selling your equipment 2nd hand if you go private - but MPB take all the stress out of it and make life so much easier.

I just sold eight items to them, all stuff that has been sat in my cupboard gathering dust for the last few years. It would have been a real pain in the butt selling the items individually, so with MPB's free courier service, and a really fast response and payment, the whole thing was effortless.

Their offer price was also higher than two other "leading" companies, so I would say MPB are fairer in this field too.

Flipping amazing

I'm a very hard hard guy to please, and I'm extremely quick to complain - not needed with MPB. Okay so the prices on some things may not be as much as you get selling it privately but when you take into account free postage (they send a courier next day), lack of commission / any other fees and waiting for a buyer to be happy etc... quite reaosnable.

Staff are all polite, knowledgeable and very quick to respond to emails.

Olivier's customer service was superb and the overall experience was smooth and extremely easy.

Great service

I have just completed a part exchange deal swapping a lens for a new Canon body, and the whole process could not have been easier. I was offered a very fair price for the lens i wanted rid of, and exchanged it for a new canon dslr which is perfect for my needs.

Excellent with a capital E

Bought a used Nikon D 200 SLR (listed as Mint-) opened the box, gave it a good checking over, to be honest I think it was given a lower rating that it deserved. To be truthful its as good as brand new (WELL DONE). The camera arrived next day, what service, fully tracked and good customer service from MPB and DPD.
This is probably one of the best buys I have ever made, anyone out there reading this give MPB a serious thought. I would recommend then to friends / family without hesitation.
Due to the service I received also ordered two Nikon lens to compliment the D 200 and they will be here tomorrow, can't wait to get out and use the camera. 100% satisfied.

What a Great Company to do Business with

I wanted to buy a new Nikon lens and wondered if I could part exchange my existing lens. I asked MPB for a quote and received a response within minutes - a far better quote than others I received. I accepted the quote late on Monday afternoon. On Wednesday my old lens was collected and the new one delivered. On Friday the money was in my bank account and I was kept informed every step of the way. I challenge any other company to beat that kind of service. Excellent company and one I can sincerely recommend.

I had decided to sell my Canon 85mm 1.2 II L lens but was not looking forward to the hassle that can be associated with this. Then I heard of MPB and decided to give them a try. What a brilliant service and wonderful staff! I was given a quote, my item was collected for free, then quickly checked and within a matter of days, the agreed money was in my account.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in using this wonderful company again.

I wanted to sell an item; I thought of the usual on-line auction, but then there would be the effort and expense of advertising it, dealing with prospective buyers, waiting for the auction to end, then maybe accepting an offer that I may not have liked, and worst of all sending it through the post and waiting for signs of approval, which you would expect, but not always get.
Then, knowing about MPB, I contacted them, and they took all the stress and delay out of the expected task. They made me an offer which I accepted, and within a day, I had the item packaged for immediate collection, cost-free, at a time convenient to me, and within another day I was informed that the agreed amount would be in my bank forthwith. It was; there were no deductions for commission, which take a lot of pleasure out a deal, It was all so straightforward, stress-free and well-organised.

Great company, great service.

I am a short-film maker, and amateur photographer. I was looking at upgrading my kit, as there were some things that would help me on other cameras, that I didn't have on mine.
I started out with the Canon 500D, and this wasn't enough for me, so I looked around, and I found that the Canon 60D would suit me. The professional look, with the qualities I needed, however the price was a little too high. I then thought about second hand purchasing, so I looked around, and stumbled upon MPB Photographic, and I can truly say the service was incredible. It took 2 days to deliver, it came out of the box like it was brand new and everything seemed to be okay.
I had also been talking to one of their employees for a long time about selling my camera with them as well. Which, because of their service, I think I will do in the future.

So, overall, they are a great company, with great prices, great services and they are very helpful.

They do more than it says on the tin......

I found www.mpbphotographic.co.uk through both an advert and also by reading a recommendation in a forum topic on www.ephotozine.com.

I decided to browse the site and eventually I found a lens that interested me. I placed an order for a Tamron sp 90mm f 2.8 Nikon fit lens. It was described to be in good condition with only very slight signs of wear at the base of the lens. It took only a couple of days to arrive and was in even better condition than stated in the review.

I found no signs of wear on the lens at all. In fact it could easily have been passed off as brand new. As well as adding a quality macro lens to my camera bag at a bargain and receiving a very prompt service I was also impressed at all the other goods that are on offer. There are other lenses of interest and as I am also interested in a sturdy tripod as well as an extra flashgun I am sure that my next major purchase will be from mpbphotographic.

They are also based in Brighton which is only 26 miles from where I live and easy travelling distance. I am sure I will pay a visit to their store fairly soon. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Having decided to sell a large quantity of valuable Canon equipment, I had a quick look for an alternative to the hassle and risk of online auctions. I saw a couple of recommendations for MPB and searched for some reviews. I can't remember seeing so many 5 star ratings for an online trader before so I thought it would be worth giving them a try.

Having filled in the online form, I received a quote much sooner than expected. A fair price was offered without needing to haggle, and I agreed to sell. The whole process from there was exceptionally efficient. My packages were collected the following day, and I was pleased that DPD were used as they sent a 1 hour time slot for collection by text first thing in the morning.

I was able to easily track the packages to ensure that they arrived safely the next day. Considering the quantity of items sent, I was amazed to receive an email that afternoon confirming that everything had been checked. A few minutes later, I received an instant payment into my bank account for the full amount agreed.

I couldn't be happier with MPB's service and I thoroughly recommend them.

This is the second time i have used MPB photographic first time was to sell a camera and I cant fault them I have recently bought a lens off them marked as mint and it was it was like new not a mark on it ,it came next day they even kept me informed by text to advise when it was due .

Theses guys are passionate about what they do and its rare to find people nowadays who are willing to go that extra mile.
