No problems with the memory. Just the installation.
I followed a YouTube interview to install the 2G RAM in my Acer Aspire one. It told me to disconnect the keyboard to access the memory. Installing the memory itself was easy, but after reassembly I lost use of the keyboard due to the extremely fragile connection being somehow damaged. In retrospect it was not even to be necessary to disconnect the keyboard (thankyou, whoever posted that video). However, using a USB keyboard (or a mouse with a virtual keyboard) I can use the computer and its performance is very greatly improved compared to before.

Firstly we appreciate you leaving a review regarding the memory we have supplied.
Acer One series machines are very specific & there are many variations of installation instructions for these models. It seems the video you saw on Youtube has given some incorrect information about the specific memory installation required for your model.
We are pleased to hear the machine is still usable & the memory is making a good performance increase.
Thank you once again for your honest & robust feedback.
