Very bad service no attempt to help the customer

Very poor service ordered Fridge freezer online which they don't have ask why is it still online after a week of ordering they then said it will be coming off they gave me a replacement option which cost another £60. Then came the delivery service which was due to be delivered between 12-5pm but failed and decided to ring me at 5.15pm to say they won't be coming then offered me Monday morning which they came at 7am which is fine but when the drivers were gonna go without opening up the the packaging n take the litter with them which they say wasn't part of the service I thought ok some don't but when I was about to sign for delivery it clearly was marked UNPACK AND TAKE WRAPPER AWAY some service this was think twice ur better off paying £10 more to another firm like John Lewis way better

We believe based on the facts that your review is extremely harsh.

You placed an order on the 27th May 2013 at 15.18 for an appliance. An email was sent the same day confirming your order.

We contacted you again on 30th May 2013 at 16.04, to advise of a new model replacing the ordered item. We offered this to you at a special price with almost £100 off our listed price. You were delighted with the information and offer at the time and opted to transfer the additional monies rather than take a refund, albeit that you failed to inform us of your decision until 3rd June.

As a further gesture, your delivery was arranged for a special Saturday run on the 15th June. You were contacted in the morning of delivery as planned, and advised a time of 12pm-5pm. Due to local traffic delays that day, the schedule for your delivery was severely affected. As you were not available we contacted you several times that afternoon to advise the drivers had run-out of legally allowable driving time. We re-scheduled delivery at your request, for early morning on Monday 17th June 2013.

On the morning of delivery we called you at 6.55am to confirm we were approaching your property. Despite this, nobody was at the property when we arrived. Our drivers waited for a further 10 minutes and delivery was completed shortly after this time. Our drivers removed and took the packaging away at your request, as per our terms for this specific service.

Whist we accept your original delivery did not materialize as planned due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, every attempt was made to keep you updated and informed and subsequent arrangements were put in hand, as you requested.

We therefore feel that many of your comments in this instance are unfair and unwarranted.

As discussed during our chat today we appreciate your repeat custom and as a gesture of goodwill for the unforeseen delay on delivery, we will be sending a gift voucher in the post.

Once again thank you for your efforts in expressing your views.

NEVER EVER use these guys!!! Steer well clear

What a disaster ordering from these guys!! I am only giving them one star because there isn't an option for zero!!
I ordered a microwave that was supposed to be in stock...it wasn't and took nearly two weeks to arrive....only to find i had been sent a return!
The microwave did not work for longer than 20 seconds before coming up with an error.
I was told that the unit had only been returned because it was too big and not because it didn't work...it was just a coincidence that it didn't work.
I then had to go through a week of 'customer service' to be told I had to wait for a Samsung engineer to decide what the fault was.....this was nearly three weeks without a microwave now.
My choice then accepted it was unacceptable to send a return out to me instead of a new working microwave.
They then offered me other choices of microwave as an alternative....i chose one and found that this was also not in stock and would take a week or two to come.
I had to eventually demand my money back after around six or seven weeks of problems....to date....4/6/13 they have collected the microwave but I still do not have my £399 and i am having to chase them up on a daily basis to find out if i will ever get it!!!
What a nightmare! I would not touch these guys with a bargepole!!

We note your refund was processed at 12.10pm 4th June and your review was posted at 12.24pm. It is clear you have waited for your refund to be processed and confirmed, prior to posting your review. We have no issue with that. However, your comment about awaiting your refund is completely and wholly inaccurate. You are aware you had been refunded when you posted this review. You are also aware the item was collected on the 30th May 2013, following a failed collection attempt on the 23rd May, a date you provided for collection of the goods.

Whilst we appreciate your appliance had a manufacturing defect, we do not believe you have a right to misrepresent facts, something your account above unfortunately contains.

You placed an order on Tuesday 15th April at 11.20am for a Samsung Microwave. 
An order confirmation was immediately emailed to your provided email address at 11.21am and a delivery confirmation for Tuesday 23rd April.

Delivery took place on Tuesday 23rd April as planned. You contacted us on the Wednesday 24th April to advise that the Microwave was faulty. We arranged for a replacement and contacted you to advise that the Microwave you had ordered was now discontinued and that Samsung had provided a range of new microwave models that had been launched. You requested we send links with the spec of the new models and this was sent for your consideration on Wednesday 1st May at 16.04pm.

You contacted us on Thursday 9th May, to advise that you had received no email from us. We confirmed that the email address used, was your Paypal registered address, which had been used for all emails to date. We forwarded the original email to an alternate email address provided, as you stated that the original email address provided was “not used regularly”. We offered a refund for the original model delivered and you informed us you wished to proceed with one of the new models.

We confirmed the change on your order and advised that stock was expected shortly from Samsung UK. You made clear you wanted to wait.

Samsung advised of a delay in the launch and we confirmed this in a call on Tuesday 14th May. You agreed at this stage to wait for more Information on the expected model.

You contacted us on Monday 20th May, advising that you did not want to wait any longer for the new model and requested we collect the faulty unit and refund your order. On your instructions we agreed collection for Thursday 23rd May. This planned collection failed, as you were not at the property. You failed to notify us in advance. You requested again the collection be re-booked for Thursday 30th May, which was completed and the model was confirmed back in our main Warehouse on Monday 3rd June.

As already stated, we offered a refund for your model, when you reported the Initial issue with the Microwave and it was your choice to wait for the new model.

Whilst we accept that there was a picking error on your order, we feel that your comments regarding our service levels and your assertion that you had to” demand my money back” and are “still awaiting refund” are totally unwarranted and not factual.

I ordered a cooker hood online but it was out of stock for a few weeks, I was called and offered a Hotpoint as a replacement to be delivered the next day and sure enough it came. Easy to fit, could not make any sense of the instructions, good job I have fitted before, I would use again and thank you for your service.

KITCHEN HOOD.

I was overwhelmed by the service provided by mychoice. I looked at several places for the Kitchen Hood, and came across mychoice with the same product on special offer with free charcoal filters and free delivery. They delivered it to me right on date and place. I'm very pleased with the product which gives 2 years parts and labour guarantee too.
I surely recommend mychoice to anyone.

Hotpoint HSFX - installation problems

The order and delivery from myChoice was smooth. No problems - could not have asked for better service ..... be careful of this product however as the installation instructions are poor in the extreme. Indeed the installation instructions in the Hotpoint box completely stumped me - and I am a reasonably good DIYer.

Installation requires special screwdriver heads - a variation on allen keys and a pozidrive screwdriver. If you do not have the right screwdriver heads - problems. result.

The manual from the Hotpoint box was all pictures and important advice was missing. There are two holding brackets for the cooker housing which seemed impossible to screw in as a metal bar prevented access to the screw holes. Weird. No "proper" instructions in the manual!!! I eventually discovered that the pictures did tell the tale but they were not easy to decypher.

Phoning Hotpoint was useless - I was offered an engineer visit in 5 days time and there was a probability that I would encounter a £50+ charge !!!! I was furious and at the point of sending the hood back to MyChoice.

One last effort ... I downloaded the manual from the Hotpoint www-site. The Hotpoint servicde desk referred to a different manual than mine .... there was the clue !!!! The downloaded manual had pictures and written text instructions. The maverick screws had to be applied from INSIDE the hood housing (impossible to do it from the outside)!!! This was fiddly but achievable.

All in all Hotpoint's installation instructions are very poor. Make sure you download the instructions from the www site. Don't get sidetracked with the instructions in the box.

I looked on the web for a best deal for a direct replacement Bosch hob. Mychoice came up with the best deal. I called to order the part and the guy on the phone was pleasant and made the order process easy and quick - perfect. The part arrived when they said it would and is installed and working great.
