First of all it takes too long to receive. I ordered the Necklace on October 17, 2012 and received an Email that it was shopped on the 22. I did not receive it untill November 20, 2012. When I received it my order was not correct. The initals were reversed. I e mlailed and explaned this and sent a picture as requested. Today I receive an email stating that It was made as my order. My ordered stated the B should be on right side and th E on the left. When you put the necklace on the E is on the right and the B is on the left. If there is an issue on how the order was requested, you need a better way to specify the order. There should be a space to put the full name so your company will understand; now they want to charge me a 30 percent restoncking fee. I will not refer anyone to your company, instead I advise them not to order from you.
I ordered a necklace on October 31 for my wife's birthday on November 9, and since it was only 10 days away, I sent them an email a short while after placing my order, asking if it was possible to have it delivered before then. I got a reply 4 days later from "<Name Removed>", who said that since my order was placed just before the weekend (I guess Wednesday is just before her weekend), USPS can take up to 9 business days to deliver, so she sent me a link to pay an extra $10 to upgrade to UPS. My order would be on hold until I responded. I sent the payment in within that day, and asked for tracking information. "<Name Removed>" actually responded that same day, saying "The package will be shipped on Sunday and should arrive by November 6th or 7th." Great customer service, I thought!
Boy, was I wrong.
When I didn't hear back from her, I requested the tracking information again on November 4. She replied the next day, "I have sent a request to the shipping department to ask if your order has been shipped and the tracking information. Please expect a reply in the next 24-48 hours."
Nothing. Not a single email came.
On November 9, I sent them an email, still requesting tracking information. I also told them that I would start a claim with PayPal and submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau if I did not hear back from them in the next 24 hours. No response, so I filed claims on November 10.
On November 11, I got tracking information, but they sent me a link to track the package via USPS, not UPS. That turned out to be a mistake, as they actually sent it via UPS (from Israel, by the way).
I replied that same day, complaining that it was a full week later than promised, so I got another email from "<Name Removed>" on November 13, saying, "We will be happy to refund the shipping fee you have paid plus compensate you with a 10% refund of the necklace's worth for all the inconvenience you have experienced. As soon as the claim you have opened on the PayPal website is closed, we will be able to refund the amount of $xx to your Paypal account." Note that they wanted me to close the claim before they refunded my money. Pretty sneaky, huh?
I told them that I would close the claim after getting the refund, but they responded, "Please note that we cannot issue a refund while the claim is on for a technically reasons (PayPal website does not allow it). We wrote to PayPal that we will be happy to issue a $xx refund to your account. We will appreciate if you will contact PayPal and confirm the amount." I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, and closed my claim on November 14. And sent them an email about the claim's closed status. And I sent them another one on November 15. And again on November 16.
It is now November 21, and there has been no refund yet. I got an email this morning (I think they can only respond to emails one day a week), reminding me that, "We wrote to you that a refund of $xx will be issued once you kindly close the claim as we cannot issue this while the claim is prolonging." Really? PayPal shows the claim was closed on November 14. I guess I have to wait another week for a response... I'm still waiting.
If you're purchasing any of the personalized jewelry, spend the few extra dollars for the double-strength metal. The regular strength breaks easily. Be cautious also of the chain. The necklaces do not come as pendants on a chain, so if you break the chain, you're out of luck. Contact customer support and they should (they did for me) send you a new chain, or you can mail it back and have them attach the new chain.
Extremely slow shipping. They state on their website that it can take up to 16 days after they ship it for you to receive it -- my second purchase actually took 20 days to receive (that's AFTER they ship it). Of course any personalized item will take weeks to make - but it seems shipping actually takes longer than making the item.
I was excited when I placed my order and was already wanting it the next day, knowing that it was personalized I knew it would take a few weeks to get. I waited almost a month and then got really impatient...I emailed customer service and they responded but due to shipping with no insurance their was know way to track item. I finally recieved the necklace and despite wanting to like it, I LOVE it! it is beautiful. Totally worth the weight. I will be placing a large order in January for hostess gifts for a wedding and a few other events I have to attend. Now that I know the time frame I will spread the word of the company.
I would not order from them. I tried to correct order within 5 minutes of placing it on line and no one responded to my email until a week later. At that time they told me it was in the process of being made and they would charge me 1/2 of what it cost just to fix my order. I now have a necklace with the wrong initials that I had to throw in the trash. Must be soneone just making them out of their home because I also could not reach them by phone. BEWARE!!!!
I was given a sterling silver monogram bracelet as a gift from a friend. It broke one day while I was out and was lost without me knowing it had slipped off. I didn't want to tell my friend that I had lost it plus I loved the bracelet and wanted it so I ordered another one just like the one she had given me. Well, today it once again fell off while I was out and it lost. Obviously it is not made very well! Looks like my friend and I both lost nearly $40 dollars each to this company. As cute as their stuff is it is made extremely poorly, do not waste your money!
I can't find a contact number on their website, and I never received an order confirmation e-mail. Also, when I try to track my order, it says that there is no tracking information available for my order. I have e-mailed them twice now with no response and after reading these reviews, I'm really scared that I'll never get this necklace although I was charged for it. I really wanted it before Christmas, but that probably won't be the case. Wish I'd done my homework before ordering from here :(.
The necklace was broken in the box when I opened it. I never even removed it from it's packaging. I requested a full refund and I am just waiting for them to receive the item back and hope this goes smoothly.
They did offer to send a new one after they received the broken one but the quality was so poor I felt a full refund was what I wanted.
This is just what I was looking or for just the right price.
Will be ordering again soon.
I was very pleased when I received my name necklace in the mail. It was the perfect size and the silver looks great! Will definitely order from this company again!
HI THERE, I BOUGHT A NAME NECKLACE FOR MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY OVER A MONTH AGO. I HAVEN'T RECIEVED IT. MY CREDIT CARD WAS BILLED. I TRIED MANY TIMES TO LET SOMEONE CONTACT ME BUT TO NO AVAIL. NOW THE COMPANY SENT ME THIS TO RATE THEIR SERVICE. HOW CAN I?
i thought I was doing so good by purchasing this item 32 days before my sister's birthday- it was part of her birthday gift. I even thought I was extra smart that I paid the extra $5 to have it shipped right to her door. I ordered on October 9th, my sister got it on 11/15! 8 days past her birthday- thanks alot, MYnamenecklace!
But the thing that really pisses me off is that no where on the ordering website is there any disclosures that their jewelry is made in ISREAL and only after you inquire for a tracking number are you then told this information and by the way it'll be at least 16-18 BUSINESS days for it to arrive at your door because it has to travel by air. Really??? I thought airplanes were the fastest way to get things across an ocean?!?
Also, the reviews on the ordering website have got to be FAKE! All positive and glowing feedback, absolutely no negatives and by the way, there also isn't a way to post my own opinion on their ordering website- you know, an opinion from a REAL customer.
I have no idea what this necklace looks like as I said it was a gift. I could care less at this point if it's pretty or if it's just a piece of Isreal crap. I will NEVER shop this site again and I told everyone I know NOT to even consider this site for a purchase due to the fact products are made in ISREAL and that it takes OVER A MONTH to get the item.
P.S. Perhaps Mynamenecklace should disclose all reveiws are given to TrustPilot and where to find those reveiws so as to read them.
The products are nice but the shipping is so slow that you begin to wonder if your item may have been lost in the mail. However, the company was quick to respond to my shipping inquires. The only problem being they didn't have any way to track the items so even though they were quick to respond they weren't of much assistance.
I got a 3 initial necklace. It was the perfect size to be seen without being overpowering and the quality was beyond expectation. I had ordered from another company before, purchasing an initial ring. The ring was scratched when I received it, in the areas where the initials joined together. But because it was special order, I couldn't return the item. But the initial necklace was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for an amazing product!
Update: I just ordered initial necklaces for my wedding party! My girl's are going to be so surprised when they see their gifts! I can't wait.
I really recommend MyNameNecklace, from start to finish their costumer service was great. I received a phone call to confirm my order, the address, and I was told my item was ready to ship. I order a lot online and I never had a company do this. I would be ordering more pieces in the future!
It took less than the 18 days estimated, it was pretty and perfect for my friend's present! I loved it! Will order more for other's a possibly myself!

It has been over 6 weeks now and I have not received my order. I got a shipping confirmation well over 4 weeks ago but still no package. I have emailed customer service 1 week ago but have had no response. Apparently giving them a bad review on either this site or Facebook is the only way to garner any attention to your issue. When I ordered my necklace, I didn't get the confirmation email. I wrote to them from their homepage twice, but didn't get an answer. Then I wrote to them on Facebook, and I got an answer a few hours later. They sent the confirmation mail at the same time as they answered me on Facebook. A couple of days later I got an email, that they had sent the necklace, and 3 days later I received the necklace (I live in Denmark). I ordered regular shipment, and was very surprised that I received it within 3 days. I think it was very cheap (compared to the price in Denmark), and the necklace is just perfect! Really beautiful. So I am very satisfied, and will probably buy something from them again.

I just received my necklace from this company & am very pleased. The packaging was nicely done and it was shipped within a reasonable time frame. The quality of it is amazing! I ordered from MyNameNecklace and received the confirmation email immediately, 15 days later and ta da! My necklace was here!!!! It was exactly what I expected it to be and more...everyone always comments on it when I wear it, so next year I know where to go looking for birthday presents!
MyNameNecklace.com was the only site that didn´t try to make any problems or charge me anything extra to have my necklace shipped to Argentina. It took a couple weeks to arrive, but it was very reasonable considering the distance. I loved the necklace that I received and I hope to order another one for my cousin´s upcoming birthday. If you need a good quality necklace, have it shipped hassle free, and you can wait a few weeks to wait for it, my name necklace is the site to go.

First of all I would just like to say that I absolutely love my necklace and get so many comments on it. People ask me all the time where I got it from and I have no hesitation on informing them of the website. I ordered it just before Christmas. The site's status notification was easy to understand for a novice like me who knows nothing about buying things on line.
I have the silver monogram necklace, the heart locket with key necklace and the engraved children necklace. They are all of great quality and are beautifully engraved. The price is also reasonable for each. Fantastic quality, just brilliant. Shipping is SO fast and the cute packaging makes my presents to myself that much better! I recommend this company to all.
I ordered from MyNameNecklaceCanada.com because I thought I was ordering from somewhere in Canada. It turns out this is the exact same site as mynamenecklace.com. I found out because they have the same contact number. I paid $32.36 for my product. When I went to the post office to pick it up, I had to pay $21.50 for customs. That is 66% of the total for my order because not only was my item shipped out of ISRAEL (which is not mentioned at all on either website) but they also declared the value as $100.00. I emailed them about 20 minutes ago asking for a credit to be made to my paypal account. If they do not, I am filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau. By the way, that 1 star rating is because a star rating is manditory to submit the review.

The site is very easy to use and ordering is simple.
I received my necklace in the mail within a week and was very happy with the design. Fantastic quality and couldn't believe how fast it was delivered!!
Caveat emptor: That's Latin for, don't purchase from My Name Necklace if you
1) Want your order within a reasonable amount of time
2) Want to be able to track your package or, heck, just know the means by which it was shipped (UPS? USPS? SS Minnow from Gilligan's Island, that apparently shipwrecked in the Bermuda Triangle?)
3) Want to talk to a human being about your order.
Ah, alas, I feel like a huge sucker. Yes, I called this morning, and just now sent them an email, but really, this lack of responsiveness in this age of e-commerce is really baffling. It's been one day shy of two weeks since supposedly my necklace was shipped, and no necklace. So, if I want to see my name in shiny letters, unfortunately I won't be able to do so with a necklace. Probably better if I had just made a jello dessert shaped in my name.
Very happy buying through name necklace on line, great price and thorough and exact shipping - they say 10 working days and that's exactly what it was! Great easy website, will definitely use name necklace again and 100% recommend them to family and friends!! Very satisfied customer :-)
