Straightforward, fast and helpful service.
Found the service helpful and appropriate to my needs. All aspects were covered and my options explained clearly. Once a decision was made things were dealt with quickly and I was kept informed of progress throughout. Also really appreciated not being bombarded with unwanted junk mail.

Superb! Would be 5 stars if not for company policy.
Shane Kao really knows his stuff on pensions. He took the trouble to find out about one of my more arcane pensions plans couldn't have done any more to be helpful. Shane was polite, considerate, patient and not at all pushy. My only slight reservation is that mypensionexpert company policy does not appear to allow advisors to offer sufficient rebate on their commission in order to secure a sale. Otherwise, the rating would be 5 stars; faultless! If you are coming up to pensionable age, I recommend that you don't just take what is offered but consult several different providers about exercising your Open Market Option (OMO) including, notably, mypensionexpert. You will get a better pension.

Good professional service
We selected 3 companies to quote for our pension requirements and My Pension Expert (MPE) handled our needs in the most professional way.
They were not pushy - our enquiry had to be stalled for nearly two months while the pension savings companies got their act together and MPE contacted us on the agreed date and moved our pension forward.
The most important was the advise received and the 33% increase in our pension over what we had been offered by the pension savings company.
We have another private pension due a year in September and we will certainly be using them again.
We can't recommend this company highly enough. They have made a difference to our retirement.

Excellent service and well satisfied
I called mypensionexpert.co.uk randomly without knowledge of them but I liked what they wrote on their website. I was contacted by them immediately and they introduced themselves, through Howard Hill who is one of their independent financial advisors. He seemed very knowledgable and knows his business well, he took my concerns regarding my personal pension matters on board seriously and professionally and knew exactly what I want and what kind of choice I required, after going through all other options available. I had no hesitation and felt comfortable to do business with them. They kept me up-to-date regularly and explicitly on the progress of the fund which made a huge difference for somebody he has been looking at the market for a year and talking to various people of other financial advisors which took me nowhere that I felt confident with, I was confused especially with the current very low annuity rate, but with my pension expert was completely different. As I said it seems they knew exactly what I want and what it was most suitable to me and my circumstances. Thank you my pension expert and thank you Howard ... I do appreciate it and I will definitely recommend you to others .

Knowledgeable, helpfull, pro-active people.
I needed to decide what to do with my investments when I retired, I was confused by all of the terminologies and realised that if I did not get some help I would probably make the wrong decision and it would be final and irreversible.

Polite, helpful and worked hard for me.
Despite many difficulties, caused in the main by other companies, My Pension Expert kept on the case and sorted my pension annuity out. They have good, and friendly, contact both with the companies they deal with and with their clients.

Their diligence in resolving misleading information given by a goliath pension provider has made a positive impact upon my life.
The information given by my pension company leading up to my retirement date was misleading. They wouldn’t allow me to take a 25% lump sum out of my GMP fund nor permit me to transfer my fund to another pension provider. Their intransigence only yielded after Andy Binns intervened on my behalf.
Andy’s professional and courteous attitude gave me the confidence to allow him to pursue the company with vigour on my behalf. His diligence resulted in a victory against a goliath in the pension field. Andy persuaded them they were misinforming me and not dealing with me fairly.
They eventually conceded and agreed my pension fund could be transferred to another provider. The new company permitted me to take my entitled 25% lump sum and are now paying me a reasonable monthly pension.
Without Andy’s assistance I would be the loser, I’m truly grateful to him for his advice and due diligence in resolving my issues. Thanks to Andy Binns intervention my wife and I’s life will be much improved as we travel into the twilight years.
The service received was excellent and I’ve no hesitation in recommending Andy Binns to anyone seeking pension advice.

First class, professional and efficient service
After trawling the internet and getting 5 or 6 quotations from different companies for my annuity, I finally chose My Pension Expert as they provided the most professional and helpful service as well as the highest quotation. I found that they were the most knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions without any hesitation and were prepared to spend as much time as was necessary to explain all my options fully and gave me full confidence so I could make my final decision. They were not at all 'pushy' or patronising and once my decision was made, the process was swift and painless, only taking about 3 weeks before receiving my lump sum and first month's pension. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for the best deal for their annuity.

friendley and extremely helpfull service

Extremely helpful and polite,pulled out all the stops to get me the best deal.
Explained everything in detail, did not pressurise me into any decisions. When I first decided not to find an annuity they accepted my decision. Explained every detail and were happy to discuss all issues. Would recommend them highly and will return to them to find an annuity for my second pension in a few years time.

Top draw for pensions
I had no idea what options were available to me when purchasing my Annuity and thanks to My Pension Expert I actually received £490 per year more than I would have from the company I had saved with all my life.
The service is second to none, everything is so easy to understand in a world where pensions seem so complex and knowing what is the right thing to do was extremely difficult before I spoke to them. I can honestly say anyone who is retiring should speak to this company, I can’t recommend them enough.
