Photo books make brilliant memories so I put one together for my 80yr old parents after they visited us in Turkey. After much research I selected myphotographics and pressed on. I am reasonably PC happy but even so found the process took much longer than I thought it would. Downloading the initial software takes as short a time as your connection allows, but certainly speeds up the working process thereafter. The default layouts provided are rather limited and un imaginative, but placing your photos where you want them is easy and gives you total control. As with any software, once you know what to do it all gets easier and next time will be much quicker. I like the frames and effects which are possible and that you can make your own background (again, the provided ones look a little limited). There is a good UTube video link on the Help page which certainly is a good starting point before your first project. The photos can be cropped and zoomed to give you total flexibility of the displayed image unlike another photo book supplier. I also really like the full page display and the lay flat option to maximise the impact of key photos. Text handling is OK, but it is tiresome that there appears to be no way to set a font&script preference so I had to go thru it all for every text box. My final point applies to any photo book project - be organised! Essential to get your photos sorted before you start, and have an idea of the page groupings, and you will be much better off.
