What do you pay for? - Poor Customer Service.

I am not normally a reviewer... but... I bought 4 winter tyres from MyTyres in October and have been so disappointed I wanted to let others know.

The tyres were out of stock (fair enough) and so would be delivered a week later to the fitting centre. sent an email saying they were on their way and to book an appointment with the 'approved fitting centre.' I did this and thought it was odd that the fitting centre said they didn't normally deal with on-line orders and had heard nothing from but would be happy to fit them for me on the date requested.

The day of my fitting, I turned up to the fitting centre to be told no tyres had arrived. I couldn't call the number provided from my mobile (landline only foreign call centre) so I did when I got home. The customer service said that two tyres had indeed been delivered to the correct place and another two returned to the couriers distribution centre. They apologised and said they would cancel the order and ensure I had four tyres with the fitting centre asap. I asked them to confirm when the four tyres had definitely turned up and would they check with the fitting centre they had them.

A week later I received the same email asking me to book fitting. When I contacted the fitting centre, they had received only two tyres but would book me in for the end of the week as tyres often come in two deliveries.Customer service never tried to contact me. At the end of the week, still only two tyres had arrived so I re-contacted customer service. They insisted that four tyres had been delivered (and had a signature from somebody, but not anyone at the fitting centre) again they apologised and said they would investigate. At this point it was nearly a month after buying the tyres, so I asked them to cancel the whole order and I would get them locally (for £20 more) instead. They acknowledged this and apologised again.

Two days later, I received a confirmation of cancellation email, but no refund to my PayPal account. I emailed Customer service - no response. So I emailed the customer service on the website - no response. Eventually I raised a PAyPal dispute, who tried to contact through their chain - no response. 14 days later I received a refund for the full amount from PayPal and I have since only had one email from - A Christmas newsletter thanking me for my loyalty throughout the year!

I hope potential customers read this and understand the possible implications of going cut price. I also hope the management read this and try to solve the systematic errors occurring. My review and many more poor reviews can't all be wrong!
