I have used several Nando's across London and Hertfordshire , I sometimes call up my local branch and place my order I find this very convenient as I have 4 young children and it's a bit of a hassle having them running round your leg when trying to order , I have attended a few children's party's and have always found the staff polite and helpful, thanks Nando's will see you in the not so distance future.
I visited your Peterborough Nandos on the 2/5 and placed an order. I then proceeded to wait for 40 minutes until somebody came to tell me they had ran out of wings and where cooking some fresh.
This confused me as I thought all your chicken was cooked form fresh. So eventually an hour later we are server our foodd. I put this down to a mistake these things happen.
Then on the 12/5 I re attended the same branch and whilst ordering asked for a portion of olives, I asked if they could be mainly green as I wasnt keen on the garlic or red olives. The young man serving threw 2 scoups of olives into a bowl and said you get what you get. At this point I said “cancel the olives” he made a point of then humiliating us by calling over a number of staff members and sayin there are green olives in there arent there. This was a little pathetic. Anyway I finished my order and went and sat down. Upon receiving my order it was pretty much thrown on the table. I said thank you but there was no reply from the short skinny ginger guy servin me, I didnt get his name.
My wifes meal included a portion of chips of which there were maybe a small handle full and I had 10 wings which were hot if not extra hot and over cooked. I had ordered medium these clearly were not. I have eaten at your establishments all around the uk and know what the various spices look like.I ate the meal out of spite and not wanting to pleasure the 2 members of staff watching on to see my reaction.
I eat with business friend and family at nandos all over the UK including bringing all of my boxers to your Cardiff /St David outlet but that will be coming to an end as of now. I will now look for an alternative food outlet where your staff dont play silly games with my food.
I sent this to customer services but no reply.
I've been visiting Nandos for many years and they’ve always been brilliant. They have recently changed their menu and they haven’t been as good. However they seemed to be improving again through the development of their menu. Every time we visit. It doesn't matter which branch you go to they always make you feel welcome and their service takes a lot of beating.
Other than the great food from Nando's the restaurants always offer a great experience and they set the scene very well.
They are a great example of sticking to what you are good at!!...if it's frying chickens which is what it in their case, then I'm sure you'll make a fortune:-)
Peri Peri Garlic sauce...I could drink that stuff:-)
