You walk in, and lord behold every musicians dream....being surrounded by gear and toys and instruments where everyone there is as enthusiastic as you in music. All this and hard to resist price tags, yes I'm sure you could find somewhere in the world which would say they'd sell it cheaper but then add there shipping costs to it and you'd be paying more. I personally like to put my trust with these guys, so far never let me down, excellent service and excellent range of products!

I recently bought an Alesis IODock which turned out to be faulty after 6 months. I couldn't find my receipt but proved purchase with a bank statement, and Chris handled this all with minimum fuss. Got my refund and bought an alternative device, and will continue to buy from them at least for another 20 years!
Dropped in on Bank Holiday Monday on a browsing trip - tried a few guitars and came away with a Strat Deluxe. Staff were helpful, part ex deal agreed with no fuss and all sorted in minutes.
Staff were helpful, knowledgable - no pressure sales and made the whole experience a pleasure.

I'm from Italy....I bought a rickenbacker guitar at nevada music....at the beginning I had hesitations....it's normal....buying abroad...but I have to thank Andy for his assistance, the explications to my many questions!! The prices are very good at nevada, and the service too!!! In 3 days from the payment my guitar was at my home, in perfect condition, the packing was very very good!!!! I bought a valve amp at a great price, It was sent out super quick. but it had a problem. an email to Nevada and to my suprise I got a fast response. Together we found the problem, Nothing to do with nevada just a fualty valve. I had a spare to fix it but they got orange to send 2 more pre amp valves.
and most importantly they know their business.
This is my first review. I've bought from Nevada before (Guitars, pedals leads etc) and never had any problems which is a good thing. The staff have always been friendly and professional. However, in this instance I thought a review was worth doing.
Firstly, problems happen. It's a fact of life. It's how people deal with them that matters.
I recently had to return a Roland amp bought for me as a Christmas gift, which had a damaged floor stand which wasn't spotted at the time of purchase.
I was a bit apprehensive, largely due to my pre-conception that Nevada may be similar to other large distributers, such as certain Electrical outlets (did I mention I like Indian food), and therefore their customer service may be similar.
How wrong I was.
When I rang to explain the situation, they were very understanding, apologised straight away and said that if I bought it in they would be able to sort everything out.
When I did go in, after inspecting the amp they offered me a range of solutions (all good). And I opted for a replacement that they had in store. It had a different finish and they were happy for me to take a look at it first to make sure I was 100% happy. Shortly after, I was on my way home with my replacement. My only problem is the store is like an Alladins cave, so every time I go in there I always spend money no matter how hard I try to resist :)
Needless to say I'm going to carry on using Nevada and would recomend that others pay them a visit.
I live in Portugal and had a problem with my keyboard, I flew it back to them and they got me a new one dispatched straight to my UK address on Christmas Eve (amazing) and ready in time for gigs over the New Year! Very quick, efficient, helpful service.

I ordered my Roland Street Cube from Nevada because they offered the best price i could find, it was £45 cheaper than anywhere else! Also, because it was over a certain amount they gave me free delivery, so that was great. Their service and delivery was very good, i didn't expect such a fast delivery seeing as it was over the new year period, but i was pleasantly surprised! There was a delay in the shipping as it could not be dispatched on new years day, i expected this anyway as i ordered the item on the 30th of December, but they did go to the trouble of emailing me to inform me of the delay which was very good of them and not many companies do that. The item arrived on Thursday the 3rd which was great considering that i ordered it just before new years, very impressed. Would recommend this company to anyone, the item was packaged very well and was a quick delivery and the customer service was above and beyond. You can't go wrong, really.
Nevada Music updated me regularly with Acknowledgements of my order, order update, delivery and tracking information.
Being as this is my first purchase over the internet I cannot compare it to past experience, but I would thoroughly recomend Nevada Music to my music loving friends.
The order was delivered next day by Parcel Force, and the packaging was robust to say the least. One cardboard box within another cardboard box with polystyrene between the two. The guitar within it's case all safe and sound, no scratches dings or dents. Thank-you Nevada Music.
Hubby wanted a new guitar for Xmas and him being a bit pedantic (putting it mildly) he looked at millions of guitar websites and finally saw Nevada music. Now finding the guitar he liked he decided for a road trip to Portsmouth. We live in Powys, Wales, so we got up at 5am and started our journey down just so hubby could check out the colour and have a play on it! Anyway 4 hours later we got there. It was a miserable grey day but our mood changed when we walked in! all I could say was WOW ... Guitars everywhere! Finally hubby picked the one he wanted with a new amp. We paid a deposit and started the 4 hour journey back home. We got back at 8pm! Knackered!
I paid the balance a couple of days ago and the guitar arrived today really well packaged. Hubby is itching to open it but told him to wait until Xmas day.
From going down to the store and receiving the guitar via Parcel Force Andy couldn't have been more helpful. It was a pleasure to do business with them and we definitely will be making another road trip back down to see them in the future. Maybe even stay over in Portsmouth this time and see the highlights of the town!

I have now bought multi effect pedal, guitar and 2 amps from Nevada. I bought a Fender 65 Princeton Reverb from Nevada on 14th Jan. Price and service excellent including trade in, price to change competitive and px no fuss.
Tried a similar amp in the showroom, collected boxed amp. When I got home it had a Euro rather than UK mains lead. Contacted Nevada they apologised and offered to send the correct lead!
Princeton is surprisingly loud with deep bass and reverb it really sounds nice and takes pedals well. No pressure when testing amp at Nevada, used my own guitar and pedals - very happy customer.
I was looking around for a mini Marshall amp to plug my electric violin into. I searched google to find where it was cheapest and came across Nevada. They had good reviews and the price was right so I gave it a go.
I ordered my amp at 2pm with free standard delivery and it arrived the very next day in the morning post!

I've only had about three lessons on the guitar so I was a bit nervous of coming into the store to buy a new guitar. However, this place is fantastic. It feels big; lots of guitars to suit a range of budgets and there's no attempt to make you spend more. The salesman that helped me, Chris, was very laid back. Obviously knew his stuff but didn't go for the hard sell, just showed me the instruments within my budget and left me alone for a couple of minutes to try them by myself. I chose my guitar quite quickly and am still delighted with it. I didn't come down from London just to visit the store on this occasion but it would be a journey worth making. Highly recommended.
I have bought from Nevada Music more than once now both times i have been very happy with the service. The first time i bought my fender acoustic guitar which arrived the next day as i was told it would and it was packed well to keep it nice and safe on its journey. The second time i bought the ESP LTD MH-330FR an amzing guitar from top to bottem but had an issue with a buzz on open strings i contacted the team at Nevada and they suggested a few things if that did not fix it they would collect it in the end they did at no expense to myself they had their guitar luthier take a look and it turns out its a fault with the guitar. Still for the guys at Nevada no problem at all i was contacted by Steve B who assured me he would personally see that it was sorted for me which he did after a day he had the guitar collected and inspected and a replacement is now on its way so i cant thank him enough for his help. In a nut-shell if you want a great guitar at a great price and customer service to match then look no further than Nevada Music you can buy from them knowing that you will receive a five star service from start to finish.
I bought a new Les Paul instore (or rather in guitar-warehouse-heaven) and ordered my amp/leads etc via the website a few days later and both services were excellent. All the guys in the store were very helpful and friendly and the online order was processed very quickly. Was recommended by a mate and will do the same if anyone asks for a good music store
I ordered a new rickenbacker bass and orange amp and they were delivered within two days of ordering, the only problem was they sent the wrong amp but with one phone call they politley realised the mistake and arranged to send the correct amp to me and pick the wrong one up at the same time, this was all done the very next day.
I have to say the service from this company is excellent and would recomend them to anyone to have a very hassle free and enjoyable online shopping experience, I will defintley be using them for all my musical purchases in the future.
I bought a Epiphone Les Paul Special bass guitar, on-line, from Nevada Music. The price was more than £30 cheaper than their nearest competitor. The instrument arrived next day and Nevada kept me informed, by email, at every stage of it's dispatch and delivery. I was delighted by the care they had taken in packing the guitar (box inside box with masses of padding). The guitar was brilliantly set up and even tuned. Customer care is obviously very important to Nevada and I recommend them wholeheartedly. (Love the guitar too!)
The product was the best price I could find online. Delivery was free and took 2 days. Very satisfied..........but really, that should be the standard service and no big thing! Unfortunately a lot of other stores have taken the P@&s out of what should be standard service.

It was nothing but a pleasure dealing with nevada music, they were very fast at replying to my questions, very friendly and helpful. i ordered a gibson les paul which was not instock and they ordered it in and it arrived within 6 working days. i had emailed my local guitar shop (not mentioning any names) regarding the same guitar about two weeks prior to dealing with nevada and never got a reply. i will definitely be dealing with nevada again. The Natal Andante Large Snare Wire Cajon, I purchased for my husband via internet from "Nevada Music" was quickly dispatched/ well wrapped and the price was much lower then any other company on the internet. The communications before arrival of instrument was detailed and updated daily, I highly recommend this online store and would use it again. Thank You
I ordered a Gretsch case. It arrived in 3 days and the delivery guy was great. The case was quite expensive but I expected that before I looked for a supplier. Nevada were one of the few who had them in stock. I would use them again.
I ordered a ESP LTD H-330NT very quick despatch and delivery and was kept informed of where abouts of package every step of the way.
But no attempt was made to send the guitar in a good state to play. The action was awfull. the neck was all over the place and the intonation was out too, I had to take the guitar to my local guitar shop to be setup properly and new strings put on as the ones that came on the guitar looked used. This cost me an additional £35.
The guitar did not come in its original packaging or with any user guide which leads me to believe that it was ex display, which was not stated on the website when I ordered It.
I would just like to say that since writing this reveiw i have spoken to Nevada Music and they have now sorted out the problems i had with the guitar.
I have a Paul Reed Smith, which I bought from somewhere else. I lost an intonation screw on the High E string, and had looked at sourcing a replacement. I tried direct from PRS, and from the location I'd bought the guitar from (without success). Based on previous good service received from Nevada (I bought a Squier Bass pack for my son, and a Boss GT-10 for myself in December 2011), I sent an email to Nevada, as a long shot. Within a few working hours, I'd received a reply from Chris saying he'd spoken to PRS (UK) and secured a screw. As an additional bonus, it would be at no cost to myself. Within a few days,I had a parcel in the post, and my guitar was complete again. It's service like that that is worth so much to me.
Having been a professional musician for some 25+ years I have used a variety of music shops to purchase musical equipment ... Some have been good, some not so ... However I have to be honest and say I cannot recall ever having been treated as well as by Nevada Music. Sometimes they tell you what you don't want to hear when items are temporarily out of stock, but I'd rather have an honest dealer with a little integrity, than someone who promises me an item and then ruins the shopping experience when they are ultimately unable to deliver ... Just purchased Pro Tools and Eventide plug-ins from these guys and it arrived promptly and at a very competitive price ...Although there are some very good music stores in the UK, Nevada Music is always my first port of call when looking to buy new gear ...

Okay, first the good part of the review.
The price of the synth was very good, in fact the cheapest I could find at the time.
The ordering service online was easy and email information and confirmation of the order were prompt and useful for tracking my order.
My synth arrived when expected and was packed very well.
Right, now onto the not so good part of the review!
On opening the parcel it was apparent that the synth had been in and out of the box because the box was not sealed and there were signs of light usage on the unit.......may have been an ex-display unit?
Although the synth functions perfectly I am not entirely happy as clearly I would have preferred a 'brand new' boxed item as this is what I have paid for!
I realise that I could return the unit but I am not taking up that option as the synth itself is not faulty or badly marked in any way (ish!).
I can only therefore give Nevada 3 out of 5 stars and unfortunately I would urge caution and maybe a phone call to them before making a purchase just to make sure the item you are buying is not ex-display or demo.
Update: Since submitting my review Nevada have contacted me offering an apology for this issue and as a customer I believe that shows an indication of their intent to remain focused on providing a quality retail service. My review is however still valid but I feel it only fair to note Nevadas response in order to highlight that they are prompt to offer assistance if a customer requires it.
My 12 year old son bought an acoustic fender package and having spent all his saved up pocket money (and some of mine) slightly over budget, saved on the postage by choosing free delivery(3-5 days). Panic struck when he realised he ordered on a Monday and 5 days would mean it might not be here by friday. We had asked for delivery to our work address as we are here during the day, but away next week. I called Nevada, who were excellent and sorted it all out for me and the package arrived this morning (Thurs). I will have a very happy 12 year old when I get home. Well done, brilliant service.
I bought a Pre-Owned Roland Fantom G8 from these guys through e-mail. They were very hassle-free and were very quick with processing a delivery too. It is incredible how services like this exist and I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is interested in buying music equipment of such. Will be purchasing from again!
In a competitive market the lowest price is not always the one to go for, but for my pedals and board Nevada were on the money, had a free board deal, and the service and packing were great. This was my second experience of the team and they were as good as the first...no fluke!
I have purchased a few things from Nevada now, and I have found not only their prices to be cheaper than other guitar shops, but their service, free posting and speed of delivery to be outstanding.
Even when I returned an item which I believed to be faulty (it wasn't; it was a battery issue I had stupidly overlooked), they returned it quickly with a couple of packets of complimentary strings.
I would recommend Nevada music to anyone looking for the best choice of equipment at great prices.
