cheap tactics to make money..

Crap Online Experience! Being an overseas customer, twice I ordered shoes from your website, and twice I will be refunded the full amount back within 3-4 weeks as shoes are out of stock. Your Customer service reps explained that this can sometimes happen when two or more customers order the same low stock item simultaneously on newlook.com.
Two days later, and the shoes are still showing as available online! I try again, and the same thing happens.
Shame on you New Look for misleading customers to believe that we are buying items that are available online when in reality they not in stock or do not exist- I'm guessing just a smart way to entice customers in the hope they will purchase something else instead. 3-4 weeks refund is also interesting as you are clearly generating interest on our money. NEW LOOK never again. SHAME ON YOU!

rude customer service

I went in to new look Leicester on a Sunday as it would be quieter and tried on some lovely boots. There were half a size too big but I thought I could put an insole in them seeing as they were on the sale shelf stating £10 off. They were £19.99 so I thought £9.99 was an absolute bargain and actually too good to be true so I checked but there were two other pairs of the same design on the shelf and the other shelves around them had the same deal sign. One shelf had £5 off but even that would have been great. Just to be sure I went up to the till to ask and the female employee said 'can you wait a second' to which I said 'yes sure' then after 5 mins it was apparently she was looking something up for a guy way behind me. When she was done she said come over and I asked if she could check the price. With no response it scanned as £19.99 so I mentioned that they were seen to be different. She huffed and walked over to the display and said 'they are not in the deal'. I know trading standards wise that customers are entitled to the price shown but her attitude put me off challenging it. What's really annoying is she put them back where I had got them so another poor customer would have to face the brunt of her non-caring response! I've only experienced bad customer service maybe once or twice before that needed highlighting but i am just so shocked the older I get at people who refuse to be seen as nice and helpful seeing as I find it very easy.

Stop using Yodel

After placing an order on next day delivery it was dispatched with yodel. The order never arrived and the tracking showed that yodel didn't have the order! After calling new look they said I had to wait 10 days!! That seriously wasn't good enough I paid for the next day service for a reason! When ordering online this company has no customer service, it can't even been blamed solely on yodel. I feel that my order hasn't even left their warehouse and they offered no help to my problem.

Im 5 8 tall and the dresses that I ordered are too short, real shame coz they are really pretty.

the worst company ever

I never heard about company like this. I ordered clothes and they lost it..and i had to remined them about this and they didnt find it..omg how is possible that u dont know where is it ? Baaad delivery system .. i was waiting 1 month for nothing!!!! ................dumbs!

new wardrobe!

New look had a really good sale on, picked up some good buys. The website was easy to use and there's always voucher codes online for them which is even better! They're more reasonably priced compared to other shops on the high street.

complete nightmare

I placed an order online waited 2 weeks for them to say the item has been returned to newlook has no one lives at my address!!but thy gave me 25 percent off Then I get a refund but charged for delivery !! I never received any item plus every time I ring customer service it charges me on my phone bill so has turned out to be expensive game considering I never received my items rang them up and they are refunding me for delivery now. but never again will i be ordering online for delivery will be collecting from store instead (complete nightmare)

May aswell have gone to Primark

I recently bought some boots from newlook that i fell in love with as soon as i saw them! Because of this, i decided to put them on when i came out of the store and continued shopping. When i got home i realised that all of the material on the tongue of the boots has scuffed and ripped. I considered taking the boots back but decided to see if the ripping got worse. However, the next time i went to put the boots on, when i pulled the laces to tighten the boots, one of the laces completely snapped in half without hardly any pressure put on to it and i was left with half a lace left in my hand. The boots cost me £24.99 and the quality is absolutely disgraceful. I am sure i could have bought some from primark for half of the price and got better quality!! Not happy at all!!!

Useless!

I placed an order late at night, but for some unknown reason the order page continued to load and refresh the details I had selected, ultimately ending with the order been placed and been sent too the incorrect address.
I called the next morning to explain my order is going to an previous residence in another town and I do not know the current occupance. My question was as it won't be delivered for another few days, can the delivery address be changed or the order cancelled? Then I can re-order to the correct address. However, so I was informed, there is absolutely nothing customer services can do, BUT this is a reoccurring problem they have with mobile devices?
How ridiculous they don't have an option to change the details or cancel an order especially when this apparently isn't a 'one off' situation.

I'm furious that my parcel is going to complete strangers in another town and that there's NOTHING new look can do?!

I think that if your order goes through smoothly, everything fine - but if there's a glitch they are completely useless!

Currently I'm without my money and my parcel! WONDERFUL!

Nice variety of clothes and good delivery

I'm not sure about all the negative webshop reviews here, but I was kind of reading them to have an idea after I ordered online from New Look. And I got scared for nothing...

My 1st time experience was fairly excellent to be honest. I ordered 2 items in stock (not on sale) from Belgium on 12 February. Received dispatch notice on 13 February and my clothes arrived Monday 17 February. They arrived by normal post in an official New Look plastic bag, as I expected, so unwanted items can be returned back in the same bag.

Not giving 5 stars, because I have no experience with sales or busy periods (and for the quality of the clothes in general). But for me I think New Look did a very good job.

Love the fact you can order with pay pall to have that extra security, Have had no problems with ordering online from newlook only when paying with my card in the past but thanks to the pay pall option iv been fine ever since. Orders always recieved and/or delivered to the shop. Like i said no problem.

Never shopping on New Look online again!

This is the third time I've orderd online from them and it just isn't worth the wait! First order was over two weeks, second order was three weeks and Third order was dispatched on the 5th Jan and still hasn't arrived :-(

Never Shop With New Look Again

Have been waiting over a week for a pair of shoes , was advised would be in store to collect on Tuesday I have heard nothing.

Rang customer services who advised maybe the scanner in store has broken and they are not able to e-mail me, call them? WHY? second excuse, after calling the warehouse was told maybe item has missed the van today, will never shop at New Look again.

Poor customer service

I waited ten days for my order which was supposed to be delivered within 3-5 days, I finally contacted new look to find out what had happened only to be told that the courier had tried to deliver my parcel 3 times and could not get access to my property. I have placed many orders before and never had any problems getting them delivered. I was then told that they would not deliver it again and that it would be returned to the warehouse and I would be refunded. I needed the dress I had ordered for a special occasion and I am extremely disappointed that I can't have it even though it is in the new look warehouse, I even offered to pick it up and was refused. No one bothered to contact me after the first or second attempt at delivery knowing full well that the third attempt would be the last otherwise I could have made sure they had access. I have been a good customer and have spent a fortune at new look over the years, I will no longer give them my business due to very poor customer service on this issue.

Never again!!!

I ordered from new look for 3-5 days delivery, 4 weeks later I was still waiting after calling the customer services they told me it had been dispatched after the 3rd phone call to them I was told the item was out of stock and that my money will be refunded! It wasn't the money back I was wanting it was the item! But nothing they can do except tell me to look out for the item if it comes back in stock... An absolute joke I will never order from them again!!

Never had a problem, will go out of their way, shame stores aren't the same

The New Look online team is just excellent. Everything arrives quickly, I love that they have Click and Collect for a discounted rate (and this makes me go into their stores and have another look around), and their social media team (Pip and Co.) are phenomenally well trained and respond very quickly with a satisfactory resolution.

I'm dropping one star because I've never been in a New Look store where the staff haven't looked like they'd rather be anywhere but there. Talking to colleagues, swearing, ignoring customers, grunting or not speaking at all during a transaction, taking a long time to find Click and Collect deliveries like they don't know what they're doing, understaffed tills, I've even had part of my purchase 'put away' before because I accidentally left it on the counter. It was in a bag with a receipt, and they thought it was sensible to discard that bit and put the item back out for sale! I only discovered this when I ran back into the shop one hour later. Luckily I had caught them in time. It's a shame the service isn't seamless across all channels, guys, but I will say your marketing/customer service/social media guys need to be acknowledged for their fast and attentive work.
