I recently bought some boots from newlook that i fell in love with as soon as i saw them! Because of this, i decided to put them on when i came out of the store and continued shopping. When i got home i realised that all of the material on the tongue of the boots has scuffed and ripped. I considered taking the boots back but decided to see if the ripping got worse. However, the next time i went to put the boots on, when i pulled the laces to tighten the boots, one of the laces completely snapped in half without hardly any pressure put on to it and i was left with half a lace left in my hand. The boots cost me £24.99 and the quality is absolutely disgraceful. I am sure i could have bought some from primark for half of the price and got better quality!! Not happy at all!!!
I placed an order late at night, but for some unknown reason the order page continued to load and refresh the details I had selected, ultimately ending with the order been placed and been sent too the incorrect address. I called the next morning to explain my order is going to an previous residence in another town and I do not know the current occupance. My question was as it won't be delivered for another few days, can the delivery address be changed or the order cancelled? Then I can re-order to the correct address. However, so I was informed, there is absolutely nothing customer services can do, BUT this is a reoccurring problem they have with mobile devices? How ridiculous they don't have an option to change the details or cancel an order especially when this apparently isn't a 'one off' situation.
I'm furious that my parcel is going to complete strangers in another town and that there's NOTHING new look can do?!
I think that if your order goes through smoothly, everything fine - but if there's a glitch they are completely useless!
Currently I'm without my money and my parcel! WONDERFUL!
I'm not sure about all the negative webshop reviews here, but I was kind of reading them to have an idea after I ordered online from New Look. And I got scared for nothing...
My 1st time experience was fairly excellent to be honest. I ordered 2 items in stock (not on sale) from Belgium on 12 February. Received dispatch notice on 13 February and my clothes arrived Monday 17 February. They arrived by normal post in an official New Look plastic bag, as I expected, so unwanted items can be returned back in the same bag.
Not giving 5 stars, because I have no experience with sales or busy periods (and for the quality of the clothes in general). But for me I think New Look did a very good job.

Love the fact you can order with pay pall to have that extra security, Have had no problems with ordering online from newlook only when paying with my card in the past but thanks to the pay pall option iv been fine ever since. Orders always recieved and/or delivered to the shop. Like i said no problem.
This is the third time I've orderd online from them and it just isn't worth the wait! First order was over two weeks, second order was three weeks and Third order was dispatched on the 5th Jan and still hasn't arrived :-(
Have been waiting over a week for a pair of shoes , was advised would be in store to collect on Tuesday I have heard nothing.
Rang customer services who advised maybe the scanner in store has broken and they are not able to e-mail me, call them? WHY? second excuse, after calling the warehouse was told maybe item has missed the van today, will never shop at New Look again.
I waited ten days for my order which was supposed to be delivered within 3-5 days, I finally contacted new look to find out what had happened only to be told that the courier had tried to deliver my parcel 3 times and could not get access to my property. I have placed many orders before and never had any problems getting them delivered. I was then told that they would not deliver it again and that it would be returned to the warehouse and I would be refunded. I needed the dress I had ordered for a special occasion and I am extremely disappointed that I can't have it even though it is in the new look warehouse, I even offered to pick it up and was refused. No one bothered to contact me after the first or second attempt at delivery knowing full well that the third attempt would be the last otherwise I could have made sure they had access. I have been a good customer and have spent a fortune at new look over the years, I will no longer give them my business due to very poor customer service on this issue.
I ordered from new look for 3-5 days delivery, 4 weeks later I was still waiting after calling the customer services they told me it had been dispatched after the 3rd phone call to them I was told the item was out of stock and that my money will be refunded! It wasn't the money back I was wanting it was the item! But nothing they can do except tell me to look out for the item if it comes back in stock... An absolute joke I will never order from them again!!
The New Look online team is just excellent. Everything arrives quickly, I love that they have Click and Collect for a discounted rate (and this makes me go into their stores and have another look around), and their social media team (Pip and Co.) are phenomenally well trained and respond very quickly with a satisfactory resolution.
I'm dropping one star because I've never been in a New Look store where the staff haven't looked like they'd rather be anywhere but there. Talking to colleagues, swearing, ignoring customers, grunting or not speaking at all during a transaction, taking a long time to find Click and Collect deliveries like they don't know what they're doing, understaffed tills, I've even had part of my purchase 'put away' before because I accidentally left it on the counter. It was in a bag with a receipt, and they thought it was sensible to discard that bit and put the item back out for sale! I only discovered this when I ran back into the shop one hour later. Luckily I had caught them in time. It's a shame the service isn't seamless across all channels, guys, but I will say your marketing/customer service/social media guys need to be acknowledged for their fast and attentive work.
I have ordered 3 pair of shoes on the 18th of December to the US..Orlando, Florida, and I still didn't receive my order. Whenever I send them emails, they reply very late and with no answers because they actually have no idea why it's late !! How can't they know where the orders are?!! They have to have direct contact with Royal Mail or whoever they're using..I ordered from Forever21, Sheinside, Amazon and Charlotte Russe, and they ALL came on time and answered all my questions. I'm very upset because I'm leaving the US on the 15th of January ..this is the worst store and the last time I'll order from it!
I bought a pair of brogues shoes on Monday which were surprisingly only £6!!! They were on sale, it all added up to £10. I am so happy how cheap the shoes were. Moving on,I emailed new-look on Facebook telling them that i hope i don't encounter the problem everyone else was having in relation to delivery. She informed me that it will come in between 5-7 days (good customer service). But, it came in 4 days(today).I was so excited and also very impressed. The shoes fit perfectly! However i did think they were going to be a bit more stiff, but there's no problem, i love the shoes so much!! Thanks new-look, i'll definitely be purchasing again.
I was in the New Look store at Crown Point in Leeds today. I picked up a really great leather look waistcoat from the sale rail and noticed that it wasn't marked down but the other sizes were - also picked up a denim bag which had a red marked down price. Got to the checkout and was told that the bag had been marked by mistake and that I would have to pay full price! The waistcoat was also full price! I asked to speak to the manager who told me that sorry full prices would have to be paid! Now as I understand.. if something has been reduced on the ticket - the store has to honor the price... manager wouldn't have it at all and point blank refused. I left really annoyed! Both Items at another store were not available nor online but they agreed with me that the manager should have honored the price! will be complaining to New Look but waiting to find out how!
Ordered my items 2weeks ago, received email with tracking number (which didnt work when i entered it) so i emailed them couple days ago, heard nothing! So rang them today only for them to tell me i signed for the parcel...erm NO, otherwise why would i be ringing and paying 5p min for the call and wasting my time! Customer service agent was well mannered, cant fault her but i was told they have to speak to the delivery driver who was unavailable and they would call me back! My itmes were ordered as a birthday gift and now wont be here on time! Really not happy! First time i ordered online my items took forever but they apologised so i figured it was a one off but clearly not! If they could just tell me where my parcel is or who signed for it i would be happy!
Spent a lot of money waiting too long for delivery very fed up rang customers services, explanation was due to Christmas and high demand, surely they should be prepared for this as all other companies like Amazon Tec are, never order for delivery on newlook again!
my order took 10 days to process then 5-7 days to be delivered, considering it cost £4 then you'd think it would be much quicker than this. Very bad customer service received too as emails and tweets were ignored.
I've been shipping with NewLook for a couple years now and have brought thousands of dollars worth of items. Any problems I've had have been dealt with quickly and happily. International shipping always arrives in an acceptable time frame and all items I've gotten have been great quality and a reasonable price. No one's perfect, but I feel like I can always rely on NewLook to provide great clothing and heartwarmingly helpful service, and that's all I can ask of a retailer.
I always like to have a look on the new look website to see if they have anything exciting. I hardly ever purchase from them but when I do..I am always disappointed with my product.
Sizing is always OFF! I can never tell how the sizing is going to be. It;s longer on the model but short on me...and I am short...way shorter than the model. I order the sizes up so it will be baggier but it just ends up being smaller than the size I actually am.
Needs to get sizing sorted out.
As for the inspire range....I have bought a few pieces for my mum and oh my lordy..they are SHORTTTTTTT!!!! They dont show the dresses on a model to show height and length...there are no details on the length of the dress so I don't even waste my money.
Customer service has always been alright. For the few times I've recieved faulty items....I've always recieved a full refund without sending the item back because I am in AU and its far too expensive
but yeah really have to learn to avoid new look. I am always disappointed. x
I used my debit card on their website. It gave an error message twice. However, the amount was deducted even though my order was not successful. It took almost two weeks for customer service to respond to my email and explain what the issue was. I got beautiful dresses to buy but my order was not successful. So sad.
