Again this is my first rc from nitrotek and I can say the staff were very helpful when I collected. The buggy is ridiculously fast and is going to take me a while to learn. But great fun and cant wait to take it out more and test what can really do. LED lighting is a bonus feature which helps when you want to take a spin at night.
I will be definitely buying feom nitrotek again in the near future and would recommend them to anyone wanting a great rc vehicle.
very friendly & polite staff, but they dont have a high level of knowege of they stock or part numbers. ive give the part number from the acme instruction book but ask for a different item code, becouse its a self build. it shouldnt make a difference who built it, the part code should be the same weather they or my self built it. ordered the 22nd Nov still waiting

Ordered an item for next day delivery, but it was not delivered 2 weeks ago. DPD appeared to collect the item, but not deliver it - it got lost according to Nitroek. DPD (courier) have a clause in their agreement with Nitrotek that means 'they do not compensate for consequential losses', which means you can't claim against DPD. Then, Nitrotek claimed to have received the item back and would send it to me 'asap' and have not provided a new tracking number. That was 6 days ago. My son's birthday is next Monday and they have royally screwed up. FACT: They have NO customer service support phone number, only email. FACT: They have a hotline ONLY for orders (Oh, how convenient for it to be this way round). FACT: They practically IGNORE your emails and close down the ticket each time they respond, even though an issue is not resolved in your view, but it is in their view! FACT: The reviews in here for Nitrotek all point to a company that will NOT help you if you have a faulty product, or non delivered item. BUY ELSEWHERE. FACT: Just found the same item 'new' on ebay from a better seller. They do NOT have the best price as they claim.
I ordered a rc buggy for my son, for Christmas. They took my money Quick enough and the product arrived and it did not work. It took me 3 days to get a return number and I only got that as I threatened them with trading standards.I then returned it on 8th of October and I am still Emailing them now( 26.11.13) to get my money back. they want your money but god help you if you need to return it and ask for a refund. I will never use this company ever again, and I am in the process of collecting all correspondence as I kept it all, to take to CAB for trading standards. So I would go else where if I were you.

I purchased a 1/18 king truggy in August for which two parts have been damaged (58136 & 58131). I've called every couple of weeks to get these spares and raised a number of tickets through their support system to obtain the parts. The responses have varied from 'They will arrive in a couple of weeks, please try again' to 'The boat is stuck in China with a customs issue'.
I purchased the item in good faith for my son and it has been in it's box now for 3 months and cannot be used without these spares. When I purchased the car I made it clear that my son was young and new to RC cars and needed an entry model with spares available, they sold me this model saying that it was perfect for my requirements. RC cars obviously need a regular supply of spares for wear and tear and minor breakages and as these cannot be sourced I see that this product is not fit for sale until spares can be provided. I would never have purchased this product if I was advised by NItrotek sales team that spares were not yet available and would be unlikely for a number of months therefore I am raising this as a breach of contract
Nitroteks sales and customer service is not very good at all and they actually ignore your e-mails if you do not agree with their poor response. It feels like they only want your money and they expect you to go away if you are not satisfied. My son is 6 years old and is really upset that he is unable to play with his birthday present and Nitroteks response to that is unacceptable.
Think carefully before ordering from them.
