I had been with O2 for a number of years, and generally their service was above average. However, I moved house, and that was the beginning of a very sorry saga. In a period of 15 months I had 6 routers. Each one had a different problem, ranging from getting so hot, I did not need heating, random drop outs, disconnections, and the list goes on. Finally having had enough of the poor quality of routers being provided, I contacted them and explained that they needed to get their act together. In fairness the customer service were every helpful, waiving the early termination fees. But, it is only since I have moved to another provided that the cheapness of their routers has become increasingly apparent. Since I have changed, I am not able to get a wireless signal anywhere in the house. Not just sat on top of the router. This review is now a little redundant as Sky is buying out O2s' customer base.
