Definitely improved

After having the usual 10% reduction for a previous order I sent in to O2 Recycle, I'd read from other review sites that they no longer did this - and after reading their terms saw that there was no longer a 10% deduction made for cosmetic damage.

I decided to send in my Z10 to them, and got them to do a price match with another recycler, which they approved. It was received by them on Friday morning at 11:55am, and 15 minutes later got an email to confirm the full amount would be paid into my account the same day, which it was, three hours later.

A definite improvement over the service previously offered, and the quickest I have ever received payment from any mobile recycler.

Thieves.

Used O2 because i assumed (wrongly) that they were a reputable company. Took £20 less just to send it to them assuming that they would be more honest.
They are not and do not use given the option - they are no better than the smaller firms.

Took 10% off for cosmetic damage - the phone does not have an visible damage and given that these are 2nd hand phones i would have expected that the initial quote would cover some cosmetic damage.

Unacceptable - but its fine because i shall not be renewing my £50 a month contract with them. I can see this company going bankrupt if they keep stealing from people.

Took 10% off for an extremely small scratch

Sent in my phone and ended up getting a revised offer because of an extremely small scratch on the front screen, laughable really when I could send it to somewhere else and get the value I was supposed to get. What a bunch of cow boys that was truly pathetic.

FRAUDSTERS! Unfortunatley no option for minus stars!

Absolutley awful. Tried to rip me off.. telling me my phone was water damaged so not worth any money. I knew this was untrue so wanted the phone back... had to pay £15 to have it returned... recieved the phone back 3 weeks after.. took phone to be looked at in phone shop... absolutley nothing wrong with it.O2 tried to rip me off obviously hoping I would juts give in and leave them with the phone which was worth £80. No customer service staff were extremely rude 3 weeks later I'm still awaiting a call from a manager... Ive given up!! If you look on o2 forums, Im not the 1st peron they have tried this with they have tried doing it to lots of people who traded in iphones!! DO NOT USE stick to Mazuma!!!
