I ordered thru ebay 1GB computer memory for upgrading the memory of my old HP Pavillion ZV5445EA laptop which was crawling. Two days later the memory was shipped and surprisingly the next day I received it. I installed it and my old laptop became workable again.

A Memory supplier you can trust
I ordered a 2Gb memory card to upgrade my friends laptop, I used Offtek's search facility to find exact specification. It was so easy, got the upgrade within a couple of days and my mate is more than happy. Pleased with price too.
I would recommend Offtek to anyone intended to buy memory online, why trust anyone else when they know all there is to know.

Service is all Important....
I ordered 2 items from OFFTEK. The items in themselves I'm more than happy with easy for me as I'm fairly confident around computer equipment to fit and use.
What was a disappointment was the time waiting for these items to arrive in the post, now admittedly I chose the freepost option (royal mail 2nd class). but i did not expect to wait 8 days for them to be delivered. The items spent 4 days with OFFTEK after they received my payment and a further 4 getting to me. I did in fact email sales at OFFTEK to asked for an update on my order as each day I checked it had the same order status, they have never replied to that email to date..
so all in all products fine, but not scoring big on communication with customers or speedy delivery.
I've not decided as to whether to use OFFTEK again having had this experience.

A service to recommend
I bought my first 2GB RAM upgrade which failed to work. I expected the usual online faulty product argument over postage cost. What a breath of fresh air when postage was paid and a perfectly working product was returned. So when I upgraded my RAM to the computers maximum I of course used OFFTEK. The service was as expected the second time with a good product and fast delivery.. A service to recommend.

Fresh Memory from OFFTEK
I had problems with the laptop, it was quite slow so decided to upgrade the memory, however needed to know the correct memory to purchase, this is were the online tech dept/customer service at OFFTEK came in handy. I used the system scanner software from their website to identify the exact memory module I would need with the respective code and hey presto, they produced!
The laptop is now running much better, thank you.

Very easy and accurate purchase.
It was very easy to, first of all locate (find the exact configuration of) my laptop on the website, before ordering the RAM I wanted. Although ordering a RAM is a technical issue and I am not an IT wizard, but the layout of the website is so nice that it was easy to navigate to the product of interest (and it also tells you if your laptop has the required slots for this or not).

Non Techies Site
I found a number of sites offering memory upgrades all with a click-thru' section to determine which memory pack I needed to buy. The Offtek site was so simple to use - it was the only one that accepted my exact laptop model number and gave me three options. It was also one of the most reasonably priced. The memory arrived in two days and was a doddle to fit even for someone like me who has no idea of which bit inside a laptop is which. I thoroughly recommend Offtek as they don't automatically assume everyone is a computer geek!!
