Effecient customer services even though order was one day late.

The reason I ordered from okobe was because they offered cheap next day delivery. I ordered the router for work as ours failed so I needed it fast. Unfortunately parcel force loaded the parcel on the wrong van and it ended up at a depot 100 miles from where it was supposed to be. I was furious so I used the okobe website to email them. What okobe ended up doing was to send me another unit and they re-directed the other parcel which was at the wrong depot back to them. Had they not done this I probably would still be waiting for the first parcel so I was very impressed by their quick solution. Parcel force were not good at all as per usual!

Complete disregard of Sale of Goods Act

I bought an internal hard drive from them which subsequently failed 3 months after purchase. Under the Sale of Goods Act this would be defined as not being fit for purpose and within the first six months the retailer must offer a repair or replacement. After several days of email correspondence telling me their returns policy does not cover the fault they then decided to regard my failure as 'wear and tear' (despite the drive failing during normal use, not sure what wear and tear a hard drive is supposed to have been through!). Following guidance from consumer direct a letter was drafted and sent to them with no reply via email or letter. I had to eventually give up and use the warranty replacement from the manufacturer which I should not have had to do.

First class website and service

Okobe have produced a very clear and user friendly website experience. Combined with very competitive pricing, I'm not surprised they are highly rated. An excellent model for on-line trading. I ordered a BenQ digital projector and laptop bag, and received the parcels within 2 working days, even though I had paid normal p&p. Items were well-packaged and unopened. They worked first time. Simple, clear e-mails notified me all through the process. Well done, I shall use Okobe again. I just hope that their carrier can match this first class service.
