One of my tests when ordering from a new (to me) web company is to contact them by phone first. It was easy to contact Okobe and get a real person regarding delivery times. (I needed nextday) they gave a positive answer and I then ordered the goods as the price was competitive. The goods arrived promptly as stated. Good price and fast delivery, Happy Days.
I had not used Okobe before, but their prices were very competitive! As I was purchasing a fairly low value item, so I thought it was worth a shot. I was extremely impressed by Okobe. The item arrived the next day and I received emails at each step so I knew what was happening.
I will definitely be using them again.
Arrived on time, kept up to date with purchase and processing, overall happy.
Only criticism is Mouse once unpackaged seem somewhat dirty for a brand new product, not sure if this is Okobe or Microsoft, and whether this Mouse has been unpackaged previously, but once cleaned worked fine.
I wanted to buy a new laptop for my son. Having researched extensively I found Okobe to be very well priced. Communications were excellent. I received an email at each step of despatch processing. I recieved my laptop in a few days as expected and it was exactly as ordered. Top service.
I was attracted to Okobe by the price initially, when buying a new TV, but had some initial reservations about a website I had not heard of. These were exacerbated after I placed the order and spoke to customer service, who took a while to answer and then I was 'passed through to the team'. After that things were great. I didn't create an account to start with (mistake), as you only get updates via email, rather than being able to log onto your account to check. I was anxious about delivery and phoned back a second time. On this second call, they had all the details of the first call I made. I didn't pay for express delivery, but sure enough, on day 4 the parcel arrived as promised. One unnerving thing is that the tracking details for the parcel arrived on the day it was delivered. Would have been better to have these earlier.
Anyway, in summary, great prices and top customer service. Would definitely use again.
I was very pleased with the services provided, they had exactly what I wanted and at the cheapest price I could find! My items were dispatched speedily and any questions I had were promptly answered. If you want to bag yourself a bargain, I'd recommend looking on Okobe first.
I bought a NAS for a friend visiting me the weekend. I ordered it Tuesday morning 26/3/13, paid for the express delivery to my work address so I can receive it before the long Easter weekend. Never received the successful delivery email, nothing arrived the next day Wednesday which worried me a lot. I rang them asking what's going on. Someone with a visibly irritated tone explained there was no need for my phone call, all is as per plan, and I shall receive the box tomorrow (Thursday). As you can guess the box didn't arrive Thursday either. I started ringing to chase it, but for unknown to me reason, the people answering the phone had to transfer me to other people who were able to help, but they were all busy. At one point It looked like there were more people who were answering the phone than people who were able to help. I had to leave my details every time I rang for someone to call me back. Eventually it became clear that the courier company hasn't scanned my item properly, and that's why no one knew where it was. If only someone had checked that properly when I asked first Wednesday!!! I made it clear if I don't receive the box on time I would want my money back. I was promised another box will be posted Saturday to my home address. I have asked for my express delivery charge to be refunded, as they failed to deliver on time, and the guy on the phone agreed. To be fair with them, I checked my credit card statement before writing this review, but as you can guess again, no refund so far. The box did arrive Saturday, but of course I have missed the chance to play with it and configure it for 2-3 days with my friend.
honestly if you want brilliant products okobe is the place to be I will definitely use again and recommend to all my friends they have saved me at least £100 if I could of gave 10 star rating I wouldn't of thought twice although I ordered on a bank holiday weekend my item still arrived when they said absolutely fantastic cant praise the company enough massive THANKYOU

Ordered a Canon HF G25 Camcorder on Tuesday from Okobe on Express delivery , there was a slight hold up with the payment due to my bank's keen anti-fraud system, so I wasn't really expecting the camera to be delivered until the following week, but was in no hurry for it so no worries. Had an email from Okobe the next day to say the order was being dealt with and that they would let me know when it was despatched. It turned up Friday morning and Friday evening I got the email to say it had been dispatched! The price was lower than anywhere else I could find and everywhere else was either out of stock or taking pre-orders as it's a very new machine (superseding the G10 I think). And it turned up in good nick and well packaged, so what more could you ask for? 10 out of 10.
Ordered the 27 inch monitor on Friday. Was skeptical about the reviews but it came no problem on Monday! Will definitely shop with okobe again the best computer company I have ever dealt with!! Amazing customer service and speedy replies.

Payment was complete successfully, I paid extra for fast express delivery
three days later - no monitor. Online order tracking says "processing", nothing happened.
I called them up - apparently they cancelled my order WITHOUT notifying me about that.
Very frustrated. I lost one week because
a) website is horrible, said "payment complete" when it actually didn't
b) back end system is horrible, neither notify me about order cancellation nor shows it on "order tracking" page
If I could give this negative stars, I would.
Product hasn't turned up and there has been nothing to say why. Calls are placed in a premium rate queue with no indication of a waiting time. Sometimes diverted to an answer service with no possibility of connecting you to customer service - they can take messages which are not responded to.
Using the web contact form is equally fruitless. Either I am unlucky, or the stated average response time is fictitious.

I wanted to buy a screen for my PC. I looked on the internet for the best price. I found my screen, a Viewsonic VX2753MH for only £223.67 [delivered] on amazon.co.uk. Most people say amazon is usually the lowest price you will find. But after a bit more research I found the same thing at okobe.co.uk for £199.64 [delivered.] So I ordered from them.
Delivery was not expensive and on time. What more could I want?
I ordered a back-up drive and some ink cartridges from Okobe - the drive because it seemed good value, and the ink because seemed good value and it made sense to me to order both from the same company, so that they would - as I thought - arrive together. Both came promptly, but the drive came by Parcel Force in the morning, and the ink, bizarrely, by courier from a different city later in the day. Okobe kept me informed by email of the progress of my order and I was able to track both items online, which was very useful for me.
However, I tried to phone Okobe to ask a question about the back-up drive and was unable to get through, so I don't know how confident I'd feel about getting good service if something went wrong with the goods.
I would recommend Okobe, but perhaps with slight reservations. It seems their communications centre might need a bit of attention - but perhaps they were just very busy as it was early January and their prices are very good.
Ordered some hard drives from Okobe and they came well packaged and next day. despite the website saying a possibility of coming Monday, so was really happy to receive them. We now have a problem with one of them and the return was quickly arranged stress free.
I ordered a copy of Photoshop CS5 from this shoddy company. The money was taken from my account and I received the usual emails saying that my order was being processed and my item was being prepared for dispatch. The webpage for the item in question shows that there is plenty in stock (180 odd).
I didn't hear anything for a couple of days which I thought was odd. I politely enquired as to whether or not I would receive an update when it would be dispatched as the email from a couple of days previously stated that it was "picked and ready to be dispatched".
After enquiring, I quickly received an email saying that my refund had been processed for this item. My bank statement corresponds with, but there was no explanation whatsoever as to why they couldn't dispatch my order. Despite emailing twice, they haven't replied. Slightly suspicious seeing as their "average response time" is just over 1 hour", a figure which implies that it is updated daily.
Their "available stock" system is a lie as well. For the item I ordered it fluctuates between something like "130" some days and on other days it is "180".
Okobe are a joke. Their customer care is crap. Avoid like the plague. If something is too good to be true, it usually is!
