Usually Good
Really good shop selling good quality goods, hence the reason for my last order, not their fault but they sent an empty box with no product (could have checked but didn't), advised them, they apologised and refunded. No problems. Unfortunate experience, but still highly rate them. You can't help it if untrustworthy people help themselves to their goods.

totally hassle-free service
I selected OAC purely on the basis of price - I wanted a specific stove, and an internet trawl showed their price to be amongst the lowest. Whenever buying on price like this you have a niggling doubt that the price might be at the expense of quality of service, but the outcome showed that this was no way the case. The stove was despatched by Parcel Force the day after I ordered it (I ordered it late the previous evening), and it arrived a few days later. A straightforward transaction, totally trouble-free, that it would be hard to improve.

Excellent service!
I ordered an Osprey Waypoint 85 back pack from Open Air and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived at my house. It was also £20 cheaper than any other place that stocked it which was brilliant.
I would not hesitate to recommend or use Open Air again in the future, great service!

Live to walk....walk to live!
After 11 years my Brasher hillmasters were finally in need of replacement. Having bought them on holiday in Wales, at the time , they proved to be an excellent choice, even in my own flat country, Holland:)
Since Brasher walking boots are not available in The Netherlands, Open Air Cambridge came up with the perfect solution: sending them from the UK to my home address within one working week! Absolutely thrilled at receiving such kind and efffective service!
Walking in them feels like living to walk! I am going to do the Camino ( The Way) in them!

Honest Advice - A genuine concern that you choose the right product
How refreshing, twice I have contacted these guys regarding footwear and they really want to make sure they and you get it right first time round. Well we did it together and the Meindle walking shoes are the perfect fit and feel like they were made for me.
This is my second Meindle Product as I purchased some walking boots a month before. The shoes were for a trip to Fuerteventura, a little walking and then onto Volcano Calderon Hondo, in use I soon realised I had finely found security and comfort beyond my dreams, I had surely not been choosing the right items in the past, thanks guys you made our climb a great one

Item delivered on time with receipt, refund advice etc.
The buying process was good but was disappointed in the colour of the item. It was described as yellow, but is actually orange. I have no time to return and wait for the yellow item described.

Very fast delivery and great price
My old GPS gave up the ghost one weekend, I ordered a new Garmin 62S from Open Air on Tuesday afternoon and received it Wednesday morning. Excellent service all round and still havent found anywhere that was as cheap.

I liked the fact that the website mentioned that this was a real shop with real people! Although I made my choice on the basis of Google search results, knowing that there was a human face behind the webshop gave this business the extra edge. I needed to replace my daughter's North Face jacket at short notice as the one she bought six months ago had to be cut off following a riding accident. An identical jacket was in stock on-line, at a competitive price and, despite it being a bank holiday weekend, was delivered, free of charge, extremely quickly. What's not to like! I purchased the Osprey Farpoint 40, which for some reason has been a mission to find in a specific colour and back size. Not only did Open Air source the bag for me, but they did so at a competitive price, speedy delivery and great communication. It makes a change to come across a company who are helpful, respond when they say they will and actually deliver the goods! I even made a point of emailing them to say this... Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Now i just want to take it on holiday! :)
