Very quick to deliver and reply.
From the moment that I ordered, it was delivered 3 days later at 8am.
Although I returned the item the same day for a larger size, again, it was only 3 days for the replacement to arrive. Open Air staff were polite and efficient in responding to my requests and I would go back to them in the future with confidence they would look after me well.

Fast delivery, good price
I purchased a merino wool base from open days. The price was the cheapest on the Internet and the delivery was extremely fast.

Ordered a couple of rubber walking stick tips for my 89 year old father, they were delivered within a day or two, really quickly. This enabled me to put a new tip on one of his Leki walking sticks just before he went into hospital for a heart operation. He was very pleased with his walking stick looking brand new again.
I seem to recall having ordered walking stick rubber tips back in September 2009 from you and again you delivered them very quickly, excellent service, will be using you again.

WOW!!!! - What service
I needed to order thermals as i was due to go to Moscow in Jan 13. I ordered late on Sat and needed delivery by Tue PM.

Ordered a pair of scarpa crux approach shoes, very quick delivery. Really happy. The scarpa crux are excellent for short walkins in good weather, and easy/moderate climbs/scrambles.

Incorrect stock listing
I ordered my items as the internet shop stated that they were in stock, this in fact wasn't the case. Although the store did contact me very quickly to advise me of this which was to their credit, it meant that i had to re-order the next day from some where else, as i was on a tight schedule this resulted in a delay in receiving my goods in time for what they were intended.

Good site... easy to use... prompt service
An overall good experience - it took me a while to track down the Rab Microlight (in twilight, size medium) but Open Air had it! Quite simple to use and check out was straightforward. It would have been good to have had an e-mail when the product was sent and maybe the presentation of it (for an expensive coat) could have been a bit better. I would recommend this site, though - not one I had heard of before. Also, free delivery is an added bonus as competitors often charge, I noticed. Thank you!

Highly recommended !!
I had been looking for a North face coat for a while now and after receiving some money for Christmas I decided that the parka in dark blue was the one for me. Unfortunately due to the cold snow spell, my local stores had sold out of the parka in navy. Frantically I searched the Internet and found one in small on "open air" . I was reassured that I was getting an actual north face coat because open air had a shop.
My coat was delivered as stated on Thursday , it was well packed in a box and in perfect condition. I could not fault the service !

Got what I wanted
The website is clear and easy to use, and the actual stock status is a great feature.
The items I wanted where in stock, at a good price, and I was notified of the despatch promptly.
The only slight quible is the use of Parcelforce as their carrier. Other online stores I use can get your order delivered within 2 days. However Parcelforce 48hr service is a lot slower.

The Crux of the matter.
I ordered a pair of Scarpa Crux from Open Air Cambridge for two reasons: Firstly,they were offering them at a great price but secondly and more importantly I new I was buying from a well established, independent retailer who are experts in their field and care about their customers. The shoes arrived the following day. Thank you Magda and all at Open Air Cambridge. Hope to drop by one day!

Impressive Service!
My experience was fantastic, this shop rocks! I put my old postcode on the form and they phoned me to check, and correct it. They also phoned me to make sure the package had arrived safely. The product I ordered came quickly, I exchanged it and the exchange items also arrived promptly. I think they would bend over backwards to help. Buy with confidence, you will be impressed!

Ordered a rucksack which was dispatched really quickly. Unfortunately the pack didn't fit my back comfortably so had to return it. Open Air were great at handling the return and the refund. Would definitely shop here again

Excellent service
I was very pleased with the speed of service and also the staff were very helpful when I needed to exchange jacket for a different size. Replacement jacket was also sent very quickly and in plenty of time for Christmas.

Splendid Service
The outdoor item I ordered was only available from a few shops but in stock. Ordered in the afternoon and item arrived in first class post next day. Only gripe was that, considering the hat had merely to be put in a plastic bag and posted, post and packing was rather steep.

Excellent service
Great service. Prompt confirmation of order followed by fast dispatch and delivery. Huge improvement on the service I'd had from Snow and Rock who couldn't fill the confirmed order and didn't respond to any emails asking for updates. Will definitely be using openair again as my preference and recommending others do the same!

Wonderful!!
Having ordered the wrong size rucksack from Open Air Cambridge I rang to see what I could do about changing the order. The phone was answered not by an automated machine but by a very articulate, helpful and friendly man called Jan. Luckily it turned out my parcel had not yet been dispatched, unluckily they didn't have the size I wanted in stock. Jan told me it would be ordered for me and then kept me updated with emails as to the status of my order. My order has now arrived and I am more than satisfied and happy with the every aspect of this shopping experience. If only it were always this way. Many thanks Open Air Cambridge and Jan Schmidt in particular.
