Quick, Simple, Fair = very pleased customer
This was so simple to complete and the cash was forwarded to my account really quickly. The entire process took only a few days and the communication throughout was superb. Definitely recommend this service.

perfect quick HONEST service
The service was very quick and it was honest, Orange did what the said they would do and paid what was offered in the timescale advertised.

Not the best recycle price, but great worry free service.
Recycled 2 x iphones, a 3GS 8GB and 4 16GB - not the best price compared to some out there - however - have recycled with Orange before and have found their service to be hassle-free. Full price given per Orange's website quote and no nonsense from them with regard to deducting cash for cosmetic scratches caused by normal wear and tear. The money was in my bank account within 4 days of posting the phones (using Royal Mail special delivery for peace of mind - worth the 6 quid just in case) - Will use Orange Recycle again

Rogue trader. Would not use them again.
I was quoted £121 for my Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile phone.
I was outside their 14 days limit and they reduce the price by 38% £46.00
When I ask them to return the phone to me, they said they have already processed my phone.
Does this not sound like a rogue trader to you? I never imagine Orange such a big company would operate in this manner.
I am sad to see such a company would operate like this.
Would I ever use Orange again? Never. Would I tell others my own experience? certainly.

Simple & easy & better price than all the other sites!
So easy & simple! typed phone recycling into Google, checked a couple of the better known agencies but wasnt very impressed with price offered, then followed the link to Orange Recycling & their price was considerably better. I entered my details, the jiffy bag (& box - which I found more reasuring to protect my phone in transit) arrived, I posted at the post office & got the money & a confirmation email within a couple of days.
The only slight niggle, was paying £6 postage for special delivery (as instructed) but at the end of the day, price paid was still so much better than the others, I was still happy to pay it.

Just like all the rest - lure you in with one price then pay a lower one!
Not blown away - phone had the most minor cosmetic damage and they knocked 10% off the quoted value. I will take it to a CEX shop next time so I can make a decision there and then and take my business elsewhere if they mess me around!

I was very pleased with the ease of using the on line price for my phone and for the quick service provided by orange recycle.
I was surprised that I did not need to send all the cables etc with the phone as I still had the original box with everything in, however I sent the phone in the pre-package supplied and received e-mail quickly informing me the phone was in working condition and the cheque was sent out within the week. I would certainly use this service again, and it did give a better price than another well known re-cycle firm. I am only sad that Nokia phones are not worth any re-cycle as I had several, felt wrong putting them in the bin.

lowered their original offer based on market value for the week
Both myself & my husband sold our galaxy s2 phones within a few weeks of each other. Obviously I accept that mine was offered a lower price as mine was submitted second & market value had gone down due to s4 release. However my phone was immaculate with no damage as I look after my things. My husbands phone had minor scuffs as he took it to his mechanics job. He received the full figure he was offered, however mine was offered a lower figure that the amout quoted to me due to "minor damage/marks"!!! This was total rubbish as my phone was immaculate but after investigation on other sites I saw the s2 value had gone down again so rather than orange offer me the figure I was quoted they claimed minor damage to give me a lower figure and all because the market value had gone down!! If I had declined the offer then I would have received lower elsewhere due to the decline in market value since I first submitted.

I searched the Internet for companies to recycle my phones but they all had awful reviews, I then realised orange did this and as I have used them as my mobile provider I knew I could trust this company, so easy to do , went online chose the phones I wanted to recycle, orange gave me a price ( they check the phones first before they give you this price) then they sent me the packaging to send them off, within a week orange emailed me to give me a price, I accepted and had a cheque within a few days,

disgusting
Originally the value of my handset was quoted as £122. Everything was fine, sent my handset off and received £75. I queried this with the telephone support team (very rude in my opinion) and was told I had sent the handset after 14 days and so the value had dropped. I hadn't. So I requested the handset back and was told it had been processed, even though apparently the customer has 5 days from the revaluation to request the handset back. I requested to speak to someone higher and was told I would receive a call back that day, i'm still waiting 4 days later. I was very busy around this time and took the hit but otherwise would have chased this up. I would go to a competitor, who may offer slightly less but will not give you as much hassle.

samsung galaxy s2
Customers pay over the odds on a 2 year contract for you to offer just £100 for my galaxy s2 which I recycled.the customer if there willing to take another contract out should be able to get some sort of discount on top of that to.maybe more data who knows.

A right rip off!
I sent in my phone as per usual process. I had looked after the phone since the day I got it and used a screen and phone protector all the time. Therefore, I was outraged when I was informed that the phone had a 'fault.' I had used it with absolutely no problems at all. I phoned and told them I was angry ado knew it didn't have a fault so they said they'd look into it and call me. They called me the next day and then said that's was right that there was not a fault but they had found a chip on the screen!!! I knew this was not the case as I had checked it before sending and also because I had always used a phone case and screen protector. They then quoted me far less than the phone was worth due to the 'damage' and I realised that this was a scam. I wonder if anyone has received their quoted price online???!!! Avoid at all costs. I will not be using this service again and will not be recommending this service to anyone upgrading their phone.

Was quick easy no hassle
Was given a quote from several companies to exchange my old mobile and were all well below par from what I thought the value of my phone would be.
Orange recycle offered me the best possible deal and was very satisfied afterwards, in future I will be sending my old phones into orange recycle

Good Communication and Fair Price Paid
I was kept informed of the process all the way through. I was given the opportunity to accept the price offered or reject it and have the phone returned. I thought I was offered a fair price given the model and condition of the phone.

Headline rate but reduce price based on superficial damage
Without doubt they offered the highest trade in price...easy to do business as received the necessary documents and Pre-paid package...received email with offer...my phone was in perfect working order no damage just a well looked after phone at the end of its contract...clearly orange are offering a trade in price based on it being new out of the box because you would not get a 2nd hand phone in better condition than mine. I feel a bit flat from the deal initial offer £110 received email once they had inspected my phone stating £99 not insulting enough for me to ask for my phone back which you can do but nevertheless almost predictable...they were always going to pay less.
Disappointed that 'orange' are doing business this way I was offered £90 trade in on the phone but used orange because of the higher price...if I had sent via recorded delivery I would have been out of pocket...would not do again

'' i sent my old phone to Orange to be recycled and they offered me a sum of £47 but when they inspected it they paid me over £50 well i was thrilled...good old Orange so pleased i stayed with them'' you should change to Orange too..

Straightforward and easy

Fast Payment, Sloppy Service, Don't expect to get the original offer.
I've had experiences before where the headline cost offered is dramatically cut when they have your phone - I though this would be different with orange but I was wrong.
The service was ok, apart from sending a phone size box and envelope for an iPad - bit sloppy.
Payment was very prompt once I'd decided there was no way of getting the original price offered, was nice that this went straight into the bank too rather than having the time of receiving a cheque and waiting for this to clear.

Totally disappointed with the experience!
A lovely young man rated my Samsung Galaxy Ace at £35 and having sent it in was told due to
"cosmetic damage" they would only give me £27.50!
I am an old lady who kept it in its case and there was not a mark to be found on it - I was most disappointed
with Orange - so much so will consider moving from them after my new Samsung Galaxy Ace III runs out ofvthis contract!
