Terrible and rubbish as if a scam

It was the most terrible online order I have ever made. I ordered a tent from the Outdoorgear4u about a month ago. My order has never turned up and I have not received any failed delivery card from any courier either. I tried to contact the customer service via email twice but I have got no reply from them. Also, whenever I phoned them, there was always no answer but the automated answering machine ending all calls automatically.

The Outdoorgear4u website has closed down claiming for "maintenance" since last week. Payment have gone through but I have not received my order nor a refund. What a scam and thief! I am extremely disappointed and definitely would not recommend anyone to do business with this company.

No problems but delivery was not the fastest.

The product was fine but took a week to arrive.

Ordered on 3rd dec. on 5th Dec Got an email saying one item in the order (boots) is out of stock. Its 16th dec and still havent recieved the order. On calling customer service yesterday was told it will be delivered by 18th dec. highly disappointed as i needed the stuff sooner. I hope the quality is good enough to justify this delay.

Hi Ndawda, Sorry you are dissapointed. Normally our dispatch time is really fast. On this occasion it was not satisfactory for either of us as one of the items was sold out & needed to be re-ordered. As in your case too, We do inform customers when there is a delay to make sure it is ok. Sorry you were let down.

Let down by customer service

I ordered the goods, got an email confirmation as well as notification they'd taken my money then heard nothing. Five days after placing the order I hadn't heard, so sent them an email. Heard nothing. Then 8 days after ordering I got an email stating my delivery would arrive today between 16:48 and 17:48. It's now 19:23 and its still not arrived and I've waited in with no clue where my delivery is. Rubbish. Never using this company again. Oh and they address me by [personal information removed] which is my house name. Not rocket science. You'd think with times being do hard they'd up their game to be the best they can be. What a joke.

This time of year orders are taking a little longer to get out due to the busy Christmas period.
I’m sorry you have not had a reply to the email you sent. Our customer services are open 7 days & every email/querie we receive are almost always answered on the same day. So I’m not sure why but It may have been filtered somehow by our email server.
The email you received is an automated email from our courier Interlink stating the time of delivery, just so you don't have to wait in all day. Obviously Interlink have failed to fulfil their promise on this occasion, however I will endeavour to find out what happened & where your parcel is when we are open tomorrow morning.
I hope we can resolve the issue quickly & maybe it will persuade you to retract the negative comments left as we pride ourselves on good customer service & good reviews.
14/12/12 I have complained to Interlink Regading not delivering the parcel when stated & today i have been keeping track of you parcel & noticed it has now been delivered. Sorry about it not being delivered when interlink stated they would, Many Thanks.

This is a very good store.
I've bought Vango Supernova 8000 sleeping bag from them. They had the lowest price from all internet stores and also had the latest 2012 model. With my order the courier delivery was free and very fast.

good service but poor communication

The item ordered came in perfect condition and well packaged. However, there was no confirmation of dispatch or delivery, and very little information available online in terms of estimated delivery times. I didn't know when to expect it by, and would have benefited from some sort of 'track your order' system under 'my account' online. Otherwise, fantastic price and product.

i dared 2b and got the jacket i wanted

ordered dare 2b jacket dead heat .came in in four working days. only gripe is no up date on order at all . not even they had the order . may cos i payed with paypal . plus side jacket is lovely and warm rain proof good fit . im 40 chest got a medium

Delivery slooooooooow! Still waiting!

purchased a jacket for my son but unfortunately was not informed that the item would not be in outdoorgear4u stock for a week and was not contacted by them. I found this out by telephoning them a week after purchase to be informed "oh sorry about that you might get it by tuesday"

Can't fault this company's website or delivery. I would have given them 5 stars but several of the items that I wanted to order were out of stock.

Poor communication

Ordered men's ski suit, no dispatch for a week, still waiting. On the third day of waiting, no information, so I contacted them, got reply after a 2 days saying they are waiting for a delivery from manufacturer.
Maybe it's just me, but I got used to buy from Amazon and Ebay and there is a lot better communication, you don't have to squeeze info from the seller.

The equipment I bought was a bargain and good quality. Surprised me when it all turned up the next day. I would definitely buy from here again!

First class service.

The delivery service was so quick and efficient. They even timed it to within one hour. The jacket is just what I needed for Winter country walks. As others have commented, the sleeves are long but with the Velcro tightened this is not a problem. The price was the best I could find for this particular jacket and I would thoroughly recommend it.

EFFICIENT AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

Ordered on sunday,received on Wednesday,was sent a e.mail to say i would receive it after mid-day and on the day i received a e.mail breaking it down to a hour time slot. Have never had that from any surplier before. Products were top notch and were exactly as described and at a great price.
