Helpful, Kind but a little slow!

The "little slow" part of my review is concerning the time it took for them to reply to me! I both tweetd and Facebook in boxed them a couple of times, admittedly there was alot of people to see to on that day, So I think we will let them off! ;D
I ordered a whole computer rebuild and the PSU and RAM I had were working fine until suddenly I was getting power surges and a lack of booting eventually, (due to the RAM) So I contacted Overclockers and got to speak to James Bailey, A nice fellow with the same name as my farther!. He was very helpful in telling me how to sort out my returns and recommending what items to exchange my faulty ones for in a very polite and formal manner!
All in all, great customer service and despite these two faults (my fault for buying cheaper) great products!

Terrible. Will never use them again.

Ordered before 9am on a Thursday morning and paid the premium (over £17!) for "guaranteed" Saturday delivery. They didn't even dispatch the item. Entire PC build on hold now due to them.

I wanted a refund quickly so we get to the part that really disgusts me. The only phone numbers you can call them on are rip off 0871 premium rate numbers. And of course you have to sit through waffle and be on hold for a few minutes before anyone answers.A total con to squeeze a little extra cash out of you.

I've used them in the past and was happy with but after this I'll never use them again.

I'll also be checking my credit card very carefully to make sure they don't drag their heels issuing my refund.

Top quality Customer Service

Bought lots of components for a new build a few months ago, unfortunately one stick of memory started to show signs of it failing.

I contacted OcUK who could not apologise more (Even though it's clearly not their fault!) and they agreed to get the memory into them and swap it out for me.

Top quality customer service, everything was so smooth and done so quickly, a big thanks to Bailey who was superb throughout.

It's the only company that I buy PC bits from, due to the customer service. Makes a whole heap of difference dealing with a company who will go the extra mile.

Absolutely appaling company to deal with

I placed an order in the hope that the item would be delivered prior to the weekend. They then sent me an email the next day asking for proof of address/two forms of ID, and a DNA sample. I supplied them with this on the basis that they would dispatch my item the same day and if they could not dispatch it on that day to cancel the order. They didn't dispatch the item on the same day and they didn't cancel the order! I then had to have the item returned to the sender (I didn't sign for it) and they said they'd issue a refund. Over one week later and I still have not received the refund and I'm having to chase them up about it! Avoid these time wasters at all cost!

Top Notch Customer Service

Ordered a complete system from OCUK recently, speedy delivery, great value and then the after sales support is just amazing.

So many different ways to contact them and they are always happy to help.

I had a issue with my Graphics Card which was handled brilliantly and was resolved in the end.

Absolutely first class customer service...

I have ordered a system from OC recently and must say that the customer service and after sales support I have received has been absolutely first class. The staff were friendly and swift, and after a strange problem that neither me or the OC staff have ever encountered, my queries were dealt with promptly and fairly and without undue hesitation. I will be ordering again from OC and thank you again, all the staff that have helped.

Simply the best

Having used multiple retailers for computer components, I've decided Overclockers are the best I've come across for customer service alone! The community forums are excellent and you can always guarantee your problem will be resolved or diagnosed within a couple of hours on the forums. They use DPD to send parcels and I rate DPD really highly, receiving an exact time when the parcel is going to be delivered via email or sms and never had an issue with a lost parcel or delay etc. I always recommend Overclockers to friends for the quick delivery, excellent customer service and competitive prices.

Technical support (Revised)

Although the slight mishap originally with one of the tech support employees, I would like to apologise to OcUK after my review, James (The returns manager) got into contact with me and told me to come into store for a replacement, I went this morning, James offered me a refund or a new part, apologised on whomever the technician was behalf and helped me out into what I could do with my new system recomending me to the forums for help on overclocking when it comes to it, I'd personally say if you have any trouble tech wise ask for James, such a polite and nice bloke and willing to help you out.

Fast shipping, good prices. great after sales.

I've been using Overclockers.co.uk (OCUK) for over a decade, and have found they have a good selection of quality products at good prices, which combined with free shipping (if you're a member of their forum with some posts under your belt), and great after sales makes them very hard to beat.
I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic Service and System

This is my first PC from Overclockers UK and I very much doubt it will be my last. My new PC is very well built and the packaging it came in protected from any possible harm.
The best thing was the level of customer service I got, I had a few enquiries during the build and never had to wait long to receive a reply on the forum, sometimes it was only a few minutes after.
Also during the build they weren't happy with the initial motherboard so they replaced it with a better model for free so no complaints there.
I would definitely recommend buying from them!

The website is fresh and easy to understand. Offers and items that most people visting this website are met with straight away, they have simple and easy to use drop boxes to guide you to your required product.

Ordering process is simple and easy, not only do they offer you to pay by credit card, but also by a credit plan, so for those who are on a budget, they can still afford top gear.

contacting customer service is easy and you get a fast response. If you need to reply to that response, send another email quoting the previous one and the same customer service agent will reply.

All in all a pleasent website to use, and a great company to deal with, fast replies to problems, great prices and products for everyone, to the budget computer user right up to the elite gaming systems.

Best Customer Service i've had in a long long time!

Got a case from them which I found to be damaged (probably from transit from the manufacturer). OCUK staff Bailey and 5UB (Forum names) were quick to respond to my calls and quickly resolved my problems and issues. Compensated me for my loss and also replaced the missing and broken parts. What more could you ask for? I mean all sorted within 2 days from my first message to them. Absolute top guys over at OCUK!

Will be a returning customer for sure especially with this amount of customer satisfaction.

Always the best!

Some things were out of stock once I ordered things for a custom water-cooling loop. The customer service people were great. They changed my order for free even though there were items more expensive in there and they also upgraded it to a saturday delivery.

OCUK is always they best.

Great service, fantastic communication.

Cannot fault these guys. Queries answered promptly, friendly staff and brilliant service. After a problem that either I or the OC staff have ever encountered before, it was refreshing to have a dialogue with the OC staff via their forums and they always kept me up to date with what was occuring. A very much satisfactory experience and I can whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone.

Abysmal

My "high end" gaming PC had problems from day 1, with blue-screening and a loud, high pitched whine. Sent it back for repairs and it was returned with exactly the same problems. I dianosed and fixed the whine myself (dodgy cooling fan) but darned thing couldn't start from standby and kept blue-screening on a daily basis. I contacted Overclockers again and they claimed they'd not heard of my problem previously - impossible to prove otherwise because of their site-based communication policy. Also, if you say anything negative about overclockers on their forums they delete it - its actually in their terms and conditions. Disgraceful service. Never again!

They got all i need

I been shopping at OCUK since 2005 and they have not failed me a single time.

Overclockers UK, Once you have used them you wont go anywhere else.

I ordered a PSU for a build i was doing for my son, unfortunately it arrived damaged in transit. Now having used OCUK in the past i knew this wouldn't be a big deal, i just took afew pictures and a short post on their excellent customer service section of their forum all was sorted out by Bailey one of the excellent staff at OCUK. As it happens the day i posted they had a deal on another PSU which was of similiar spec and quality so i was able to order that instead of waiting for a replacement and a refund was raised instead. Great i was able to carry on with my build as the new PSU turned up the very next day, whilst my refund was being handled after returning the damaged item. No hassle at any time, you just get excellent service. If your active member of their forums you even get free delivery after OcUK Forums members who have 250 or more posts and have been registered for over 90 days, or
OcUK Forums members who have been registered for over 12 months and made at least 100 posts .

Good deals, good aftercare service and decently large community of friendly people

OCUK is a British PC retailer with a online and physical presence.

They have built up a great community on their forums. They have great staff which go out of their way to help. Postage is decent and quick especially when your a member on their forums as you can claim free delivery after being a member for awhile which for repeating customers i think is a nice touch.

Can get some good bargains now and then with the daily or weekly deals. Which is on their latest deals section of the forum or their latest news or weekly deals sections on their website.

While i think OCUK are a good PC components company i cannot in good faith offer 5 star because nothing is perfect but rating them at 4 star means that there a pretty decent place to go when you need PC stuff. Spent over 300 notes there so they must be doing something correctly. ;)

Shout out to 5UB and Bailey and Gibbo as some of the staff at OCUK. These are the people you want to keep an eye on on their forums, Bailey and 5UB for support and Gibbo for the deals.

Seamless customer service, and willing to go the extra mile

I have ordered a lot of, if not all of my computer components from Overclockers UK and if there has ever been a problem, they have gone above and beyond to ensure that any questions I have had are answered.

I especially love the communication you get during deliveries. You get an email from Overclockers, and from DPD ( not sure if it is the case with all of their delivery couriers)

Regarding the day of delivery, you even get a text on the day if you want to reschedule, or authorise it to be delivered to a neighbour. I also like how you get another email and a text with the window of delivery, usually an hour where the delivery will arrive between.

I have heard that they are going to be getting the accuracy down to a 30 minute window.

The service is slick, and even though they may not always be the cheapest, you will be hard pressed to find another company that will match the levels of customer service that OCUK brings to the market.

OCUK - The best company I have had dealings with for as long as I can remember.
I've had to upgrade my PC due to work requirements, so thought I'd build my own again. Bought all the components from OCUK, which not only came in the CHEAPEST, but were delivered NEXT DAY. Got a text telling me what time to expect the delivery, to within an hour.
Built the thing up only to find the (expensive) motherboard seemed to be faulty. And I found this out on a Sunday evening too.
So, feeling a bit gutted I registered on their forum and posted the issues I'd been having. First thing Monday a very professional and friendly chap on the forums (Bailey) came back with a response and advice.
I'd also raised a technical advice query, which was also responded to first thing that morning.
I acted on the advice given that evening once I got home from work, which unfortunately didn't seem to resolve the issue. I messaged Bailey again first thing the next day, and within about half an hour I had an RMA number sent to me with advice and instructions on what to do next, given that the component appeared to be faulty. I promptly sent the part back on Wednesday. OCUK received it Thursday, tested the part, found it to be OK, updated the BIOS to improve compatibility and have sent it back to me AT NO ADDITIONAL COST (although perfectly within their rights to charge me!!) ON THE SAME DAY, so I should receive it tomorrow (Friday!). I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure all will go smoothly, and if not I'm totally reassured that I have an excellent and knowledgeable OCUK technical support team at the end of the phone to help me resolve any issues.
I can't stress enough how impressed I am with the whole service, from point of sale to after sales service, making a stressful event as smooth running and un-stressful as possible!
A special thanks to Bailey (and the whole OCuk team) for delivering such outstanding assistance throughout. Would highly recommend (and will) to anyone looking for a top quality PC supplier.

BEST customer service, great staff, very helpful forums and a good range of products with decent prices

I have been buying from overclockers for about a year and they are so hepful when components have broken e.g. they replaced my 6970 with a 7870 as they didnt sell 6970s anymore when my 6970 broke and also their prices are good for the service you get...also free haribo also a bonus and the forums are always helpful

Superb service

I bought a graphics card from Overclockers and due to Gigabyte messing around with different BIOS versions I got a version which had hard locked voltage at 1.25V. I spoke with Bailey who understood the problem and offered me a wealth of options to resolve the issue. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I don't think I would have got such good service elsewhere. They probably would have been within their rights to tell me that it's tough now but Bailey went above and beyond to help me out.

Great Company

I have used them for several years and they have always served me well. Great online community too!

One of my go-to places for geek stuff.

Always had a good shopping experience at OcUK. Been doing so for a long time (must 7 years now), and they've always given me good service. Their staff is pretty hands-on, and always accessible via the forums, which are a good place to hang out.

So yeah, I rarely look elsewhere, they have good support, reliability, good delivery times, and I always keep a look out for their weekly deals and special offers. All that goes a long way when dealing with online retailers.

Professional service, sales and support.

I have used Overclockers for the past 10 years come July and dare not tally up how much I've spent since then.

Out only the handful of times I've had something fail or develop a fault it has been dealt with in a very speedy, professional manner. It doesn't matter whether the purchase is for a couple pounds or a couple thousand you are always given the best of support.

The forums and staff/moderators are what makes them a cut above the rest and I will continue to always use them mainly because I have access to unofficial 24/7 support and advice.

Fantastic customer support and overall service

I've used Overclockers UK for years now and never had any issue until recently, when my Razer Naga began to fail. I contacted their staff via their amazing support forum and they sorted me out a brand new mouse very quickly. Not only was it a brand new replacement, but they replaced it with the newer model.

I'll never buy from anywhere else, and you shouldn't either.

Good all round

Great range of products. Couldn't get through by phone to ask for some advice which was a shame- on hold on premium rate for some time.

OverClockers give great customer service, unfortunately having to return a product due to a failure (which can always happen), overclockers were very quick to turn it around and get a credit note back to me. Bailey was a star always responding to my queries in the quickest time possible.

They answered any questions and sorted any problems that I had on the same day.
I already bought from many stores, but never had the level of the pre and pos costumer service that OCUK, Great team.

Aftersales service second to none.

Used Overclockers for years and have never let me down yet. Recently my graphics card developed a fault so sent it back. Got a replacement sent out to me but this was not working with my machine and after extensive "fixes" sent it back and they sent another new one out. Now this one apparently didn't work so they set up another RMA for me, but I updated my BIOS and that did the trick. The last card was sent on a bank holiday too. Best Pc parts store out there. Good Customer Service, Fast RMA Process Even Via PayPal

Ordered a case from Overclockers, with some cable extensions as i thought that the cables from my PSU would not be long enough. Arrived next via DPD within the timeslot that DPD said no more waiting in all day. Moved everything over from my Lian Li case (purchased from Overclockers back in 2006) When Every thing was moved over i found that 2 of the cable extensions i didn't need as my PSU cables were long enough. Contacted Overclockers on the forums ( NO PHONE CALLS) advised of the situation and gave me an RMA number. Sent off, Within 4/5 days got my money refunded. Happy All Round.

Excellent service

Brought a graphics card from Overclockers. Arrived next day and was the next model up from ordered. Spoke to Bailey and he was happy for me to keep the card and was so helpful. My questions were answered instantly.

Brilliant Company

Had a problem with a graphics card i had bought, returned it and received a replacement. This one was also faulty (none of this OcUK's fault, just seems to happen with some of these cards) took a bit longer to send this one back, but got a full refund after it being tested as faulty.

Free delivery through being a member of the forum, BRILLIANT customer service (I got Bailey dealing with my return and could not praise this enough) and the BEST thing about OcUK, the haribo! ^_^

I would just like to say that Overclockers UK have been an excellent company to buy from and above all,their customer service is second to none. They have a brilliant selection of PC components and other tech related stuff and cater from the biggest noob to the most tech savvy. I have spent £1000's over the last few years and when (with cutting edge tech its when not if) things ever go wrong its friendly staff and very quick turnaround from them. Fantastic service, excellent product

Recently bought a full system for my son, was very impressed with the service from start to finish. The computer is great, my lad is really pleased with it. The only slight thing is that the phone calls to the company are expensive if you use a mobile phone.

Good, honest and very high levels of service.

Their excellent customer service was highlighted again, when returning a broken mouse. Bailey was very helpful and honest with regards to the issue and resolved it quickly and with a result better than I had expected!
