bought a pc monitor from this people but it took them ages to get it delivered. rang customer services but didn't get much joy with that either, they were not very considerate with the customer. not impressed at all. bear that in mind if thinking of buying from them.
These people are unbelievable. They use a really bad courier company and then refuse to give a refund when the items ordered get "lost"! They would have cost me about 580 pounds, but thankfully I disputed the transaction and the bank took care of the rest.
Wouldn't order from them again though as I can't trust them.
To add insult to injury, they sent me an e-mail asking me to review the product!!!

Ordered 55" led TV was told 4-5 working days delivery, was delivered in 3 days great service the only criticism is that they did not advise when it was being dispatched so very lucky someone was in. Great prices and free delivery would recommend them and would certainly buy from them again.
I never purchased anything from Oyyy.co.uk before until the other week. I was willing to take a chance. I spent over £100 on electrical goods. Why would I do that with people who I know little about? Well, the payment option was Paypal. I had a dispute in the past with another vendor and Paypal sorted things out for me. So if anything went wrong with Oyyy, I at least have a safety blanket, (that is Paypal) and I would have raised hell.:)
Fortunately, there was no need to make a fuss. The item was cheaper than Amazon UK and Play.com. Plus free delivery and the package was delivered within two day of purchase. They dispatched my item via DPD who kept me up to date with the where about of it. Everything went smoothly. Thank you Oyyy. I'll be doing business with you in future.
Ordered 60" Samsung Plasma from Oyyy never used them before but
item was £400.00 cheaper than others. Arrived when they said, free delivery, was very happy. A week after installation stopped working,( not
Oyyy's fault). Contacted them yesterday, they sent replacement to me today, excellent customer service, all the staff I have spoken to have
been great will use again.
I bought a 3TB Hitachi internal HDD from OYYY. The drive arrived (in good time) in the standard pneumatic jacket, which was fine, but this was inside a cardboard box several sizes too big and with no additional packing, which was bad, in that the g-forces experienced by a quite heavy but delicate & expensive piece of kit can potentially be damaging under these circumstances. I mentioned this to their customer services, but "nothing can be done about packaging, as that's for the warehouse". The drive failed within 2 days. The procedure for returning the drive was smooth, the customer services people well-trained and polite at that stage, and the money was refunded subsequently to my card. However, on researching the situation concerning potential data retrieval from dead HDDs, a few days later I decided it is unacceptably risky to have one's data going to an uncertain fate, and wished to buy the drive back. However, it is not possible to trace the drive, as "we deal with too many items to be able to trace an individual drive". So, although this may appear unusual to OYYY to the point of being unreasonable on my part, actually there is a deficiency in procedure & policies here: returned HDDs ought to have a documented pathway and a documented point of destruction, to give customers complete reassurance that their data isn't going to be hijacked somewhere along the way. I would really have appreciated a bit more flexibility and assistance in this situation - if I'd even had the courtesy of a call back to report on the situation this would have been a 4-star review.
I bought a adaopter for my pc but decided that it was not needed and that same day contacted them to ask them to cancel the order. however several days later I recieved an e-mail saying that the order had been dispatched despite me asking them to cancel it.
Unfortunately I'm forced to write really poor feedback.I would like to strongly warn everyone .I never delt before with such unprofessional company. I bought Ausus 24inch monitor ,after few days received completely different item HP 23 inch .I rang them immediately to report. Lady on the OYYY customer care line promised that my Asus will be send and delivered at the collection day of the wrong HP monitor. At that point there was't any problem.Fully understand that this things can happen.BUT when courier collected wrong HP monitor,I rang them to confirm when I will get my ASUS. once again Lady on the phone assured that my Asus will be delivered same day. At the end of the day rang them once again ,and in that point i got info that there is no stock of the item originally bought by me. My money will be refunded immediately.next day there was still no refund from OYYY rang them once again and I have been told that need to wait till they will receive HP monitor-extra one more day.Full procedure took 10 days ,and at least 10 phone calls to 0870..... Lost a lot of time and additionally money to call them.Couldn't work at home almost two weeks because my old monitor broke down. spend two long days on waiting for the courier And on the top of that waiting for refund was so unacceptable.

Recently ordered a Canon Scanner from this company - ordered at 11am on the Thursday using their 'free postsage service'. It arrived 10am on the Friday - less than 24 hours - that level of service will take some beating! Arrived packed well and in perfect condition. It's my second excellent dealing with this company - so I have to give them a five star rating. However, looking through all the reviews it seems that they may not be so hot if you have problems and need to return your item. Pity, really, as otherwise they'd be top notch.
So, had two great experiences ordering items from here - now just got to hope I don't experience any 'under guarantee' faults with them. Keep your fingers crossed for me! ;^)
WARNING. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THROUGH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LED UP THE GARDEN PATH. You think you are getting a good deal then think again. I ordered a projector at a silly price. How silly i was to think that i would actually get it. I had to contact company to ask where my item was only to be told it had been damaged and that they were totally out of stock. Thanks very much for letting me know. I asked for proof that it had actually been dispatched or proof that it had been damaged. The answer was that paperwork does not get issued . WHAT ! Are you sure. How does a company work without paperwork?? Next thing you will tell me is that you dont issue invoices. I wonder if the item existed at all, and was it just a carrot to draw me in. You have been warned
bought hp620 laptop took over 31/2 mins to start emailed oyyy they told me to fone hp my contract wasnt with hp how ever did so only to find out that laptop did not come with full waranty as stated but came with limited business warranty i am not in business i am an ordinary consumer am still waiting for refund and want to warn people if anything goes wrong this company do not seem to want to no in there ad it said faulty items could be returned within 7 days i shouldnt of had to fone hp then oyyy would not arrange for return unless i agreed to there terms absolutely blackmail in my opinion am going to trading standards
I was really nervous about this transaction as I always check reviews on companies that I have not dealt with before and there were a significant number of issues over poor service being flagged online, especially about goods not being in stock or as promised. Also, the offer on the printer looked too good to be true -and you know what they say about deals like that.
I tested the water by sending an email to customer service asking if the website sock level was actually correct and if the item was there ready to ship as I said I needed it urgently. After an instant automated response I was surprised and encouraged to get a personal response just a few minutes later confirming the item was in stock and ready to ship and advising of the delivery options if I needed it quickly.
Encouraged by this I decided to take the risk. The item on a four day delivery was here within two (which meant I was not in but the DPD online delivery tracking allowed me to easily re-book for the next day and that gave me an eta of between 12:15 and 1:15 and the doorbell rang at 12:14!)
So far, the printer is working perfectly, doing exactly the job I bought it for and set up on the home network with no issues.
Now all I am waiting for is for Ricoh to honour the cashback offer which also looked a little weird as the model number was not on their cashback application although OYYY website did highlight this and assure me the claim will be honoured. If that all happens I will have a network ready, colour laser printer with 1000 sheet cartridges installed for just £50 - actually NOT too good to be true! (breathes a sigh of relief)
HP Advanced Glossy Photo Paper
This store displayed on its website a picture of the product I wanted: paper bearing Auto Sense markings on the back, so that the printer can correctly identify the paper type and adjust its print settings accordingly.
I therefore proceeded with an order. However, the product received was of slightly different and lesser specification, lacking the Auto Sense markings. This only became apparent on opening the pack after receipt.
I raised this issue with OYYY as I considered their use of the misleading photograph on their website to be misrepresentation under the Sale of Goods Act (the product received was not "as described" by the photograph on the website). However, OYYY refused to accept return of the goods or to refund the cost, as the (cardboard; not inner polythene) pack had been opened.
I resolved the hard drive problem while waiting for OYYY to deliver a new one. I then informed them that I would like to return the hard drive which I no longer required. The returns policy is designed to prohibit this as it insists that all packaging is in tact. OYYY stated that my query would be dealt within one day and just kept issuing the same mail when I contacted them without any resolution to the problem. I would not recommend using this company.
I have foolishly bought an A3 printer, paper and spare ink cartridges from this bunch. I requested free delivery which they state means 3-5 working days 3 days later I check my account page and it still says order processing. I start an online chat to see when they will be delivering my goods they say that the order has been processed and I would more than likely get my goods on Wednesday. I stay in all day and at 16:30 start a new online chat were I am told that I requested free delivery so they can deliver it up to Monday within the contract. I said that I was only complaining about being told Wednesday! they then said that this was not guaranteed but apologized that I was misled. Now half the order has turned up no sign of the printer! This time I phone up and ask where it is and the chap says it has been sent. I tell him that only half my order has arrived so he says he will check where it is and ring me back in 10 minutes,,,,yes you guessed it no call back! So I now have lots of paper and ink but no printer I have also stayed in 2 days ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH. They are based in Elland West Yorkshire which is just down the road from me so tomorrow I will pay them a visit!
They do not listen, they do not understand customer service, they will never get any more of my money..
Ordered a GBP1000 printer w/toner & a few other computer supplies well before Xmas. It never arrived. When I enquired about it, I was sent to the company DPD's website, nothing happened. A few days later, everything apart from the printer was dumped on my doorstep in the rain (NO SIGNATURE!!) & the box had been opened. I called them only to be told that no, according to their records, my order was still with DPD. This was reiterated over the next few days, despite my telling them that half the order had arrived in a deplorable manner! Tracked down the printer, which is delivered on a pallet (so you would've thought that the courier company would've been told to send two people!) finally it was delivered on 29 December. (After they missed my pre-Christmas delivery date ) OK, so on 29 December, printer arrives. With one courier man. Obviously he can't deliver it, too heavy for one man. Fair enough. it goes back to the depot. Nothing on email from oyy. My mum calls a few days later saying, the courier guy is here again and trying to deliver the printer. Hello? Obviously said printer is returned to the depot cos the courier company sent only one man to deliver a heavy item. When I questioned oyy, their response? "Well, it was too heavy, you should have people on your side to lift it up." HELLO? I have been dealing with Amazon all this time, and that has never happened. I was really thrown by this comment. Anyway. I offered to get my own courier company to pick it up from their warehouse. No, that's not possible. I give up. I am told on the livechat that they can also take back my toners (what am I going to do with these since I never got my printer!). Thought that sounded too easy? It was. Just got an email telling me I can only get a refund if I PAY to return the toners, and they have to be 100% perfect i.e. not opened, not even the box. Wrote an email to them stating that seeing as I ordered this printer since early December, and I have had a completely ridiculous customer service experience, the least they can do is take it back for free. Response? You guessed it. Not their problem. Rude, Unhelpful, Inconsistent Promises by different salespeople, CRAP! It's my first and last time,. I AM STICKING TO AMAZON from now on!
I ordered a laptop with this company and received a confirmation of my order. I paid for next day delivery and waited all day at home. It didn't arrive. I e-mailed the customer service next day to enquire and they told me that they have cancelled my order. My bank informs me that the transaction has been made and not reversed. So I paid for a computer, never received it and they did not even care to let me know about the situation. I hope to get my bank to sort this out. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I started to believe that some of the the 5 star reviews are not genuine. How can a company get either completely terrible or absolutely fantastic reviews?
this company is a waste of space,no help from advisors,tracking number a joke,avoid,shop around.the one star is for,they was £2 cheaper than play.com.three phone calls,waited in all day,never arrived,no im taking the one star away,but i cant,perfetic.

What you want from a company is a clear to understand website, clear information about price and clear instructions on delivery. My fiance brought a Samsung N130 netbook and paid the £9.99 for next day delivery and that was yesterday. I'm now using that same netbook to write this review. Based on service so far, very good, very clear and very easy.
Found most sites are actually selling "compatible" branded memory - sometimes with very deceptive descriptions/part numbers and at high prices. Oyyy had genuine Toshiba memory cheaper than many of these other brands. I only paid for standard delivery (2-4 days, I think) and it arrived the very next day. Installed in the second slot with no trouble at all.
Order a Canon MFP, while the site indicated stock is avaiilable. And
after over 3 weeks they cancel the order when they put the price up.
spoke to customer service, what service! Manager came on, exceptionally rude behaviour from this guy Oliver, who rudely says "the only reason ur calling me is cause the price has gone up", I says only reason I am calling cause you didnt deliver the goods and cancel the order.....Totally unacceptable attitude!!
never seen any cust service manager this rude in me life!!!

Ordered a scanner for next day delivery, but problem with their website meant it missed the despatch time. I was immediately contacted by phone and position explained together with credit of all carriage charges.
Scanner arrived first thing following day. Not only great service but also great staff and great prices. Huge saving over some other well known companies. Would not hesitate to use again
Ordered notebook Wednesday, had them delivered Saturday. Price very competitive, and good communication about status throughout. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that the graphic card was listed as a 512MB but turns out to be 1GB. While this does work out to my advantage, it may also indicate that product specifications may not always be 100% correct.
I have only used OYYY.co.uk once but it was absolutely fantastic - I ordered on the Sunday evening and didn't bother paying for postage - so it was expected to take up to 5 working days. I came in on the Tuesday evening and there was my monitor. Top Marks for Price, Delivery speed, and service. But remeber tocheck you spam email folder as all of OYYY's emails went throught to there.
I ordered a webcam as a Xmas present. It was listed as in stock, my visa payment was processed and the order confirmed. A couple of days before Christmas, Oyyy wrote to say that they didn't have any in stock after all. I hope I get a refund, but their inefficiency means a lost Xmas present and warrants a better response.
I have only used this company twice. Both times the items (A Canon printer and a BenQ monitor) were cheaper than other suppliers. Delivery was extremely quick and their site was very simple to navigate. Would have no problem in recommending them.
Ordered goods at a strong price compared to competition. Order confirmed on internet. Email confirmation received.
Took phone call at 4pm the following day with an excuse that when the operative went to pick the stock it was unavilable (a £200+ camcorder).
I was told that I would have to cancel and re-order at the "new" higher price (about £40 higher) or they could offer me the lower spec model for only £10 more!!!!
I queried if the stock was ever available at that price and got no satisfactory answer.
I refused to haggle with them and told them to cancel my order. I would rather pay slightly more for a credible company than deal with dishonest suppliers.

Having received the DELL1320CN that we ordered, upon receipt of the printer we felt the printer was unsuitable for the purpose bought for.
Stupidly we assumed that Oyyy would operate in a professional and fair manner and like all things we have purchased, be able to have a 7 day return window.
In fairness to Oyyy, they do allow this. However this is only on the understanding that you don't open the box!
The question here is, how do you check what you've been sent?!
The answer is you can't! As once you have opened it, no matter how careful, they will not accept it back, this is understandable for items that can be copied i.e. DVD's etc, etc. But on a printer which you need to check?!!!!!
Should you wish to try and argue this out, be prepared for abusive language and someone to mock you at the end of the line!
In short, do not be dazzled with cheap prices and a deal too good to be true, as we all know there's no such thing as a free lunch!
Be aware, avoid them at all cost!
