Their clear packaging tape does NOT have easy-start tabs at the beginning of the roll. The tabs are about 1/4" back from the beginning of the tape so they are no help at all.
Worse: I talked to a very nice and understanding customer service agent Casey but their "Quality Control Dept" didn't care about the problem. They thought it was OK that way, and clearly either don't have a clue what the tab is supposed to do, or just don't care.
It is possible that they get their tape from the reject batches of tape factories; no one would make tape this way on purpose.
I have contacted other tape distributors and they have proper start-tabs on their tape in the correct place.
You are left with the decision to just live with the extra work involved in starting each roll and tell yourself that the cheap price is worth it, or paying a little more for correctly made tape from a company that cares.
