Recently made an order, and while the goods i received where not quite as described on the website, the customer service team did a excellent job making me feel valued and cared for.
The issue was resolved quickly and this minor bump would not stop me recommending this company.
I would order from them again, however the postage costs to the Channel Islands are extortionate.
Whilst the products I received were just what I needed I think the postage was very expensive for two small items. They could have easily been put into a small package and sent with a first class stamp.
A colleague sourced a special item which we required for a charity. He sent me the link and I was able to order on line quite easily after which the goods were delivered within 3 days. Excellent service.
My order was of mixed large and small items. The cardboard boxes containing the small items (staples, treasury tags) weren't secured within the box, meaning that the large items (a ream of card, boxes of 10 A4 ring binders) squashed them in transit, and the card also split out of its wrapping.
The outer box was of thin corrugated card - not really up to the job, and well below the quality I'd expect for transporting fragile stationery items.
When I emailed, customer services responded quickly and offered to replace. Unfortunately, FedEx, the courier, then 'forgot' to deliver the replacement package the next day (apparently, I was told they 'left the package in the depot'), so it was 3 days before I got it, rather than overnight.
As I needed the A4 card for a print job I had to drive 13 miles to the nearest store to get some.
Sorry, I couldn't recommend this company. It's back to Viking for me.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, called at time of ordering to confirm product was in stock, got straight though to a friendly representative confirming it was fine. First thing the following morning i was contacted to flag a potential delay in delivery but the product arrived perfectly on time that day. They were really on the ball and very helpful!
Paperstone provided me with a great product at a great price, along the way the provided excellent customer service with polite calls and pleasant e-mails. A real shame it took four attempts to deliver the product which eventually got to me a week late after much chasing on my part. This was very much the couriers fault not the retailers but that doesn't change the fact that it was a hastle to get what I paid for. With a reliable courier Paperstone would get 11/10 from me.
Ordered a coat and hat stand which (although delivered to wrong address) was delivered on due date. Delivery fault down to delivery company. One of the parts did not fit so spoke to Maxine in Customer Service who said she would either get me a spare part or deliver another stand the next day. Next day, new stand arrived as promised but also with another company's delivery. Called Maxine and she sorted it all straight away.
Had it not been for Maxine, I would be complaining about company but she sorted everything out really quickly and was charming. All I can say is, this Company is lucky to have a lady like Maxine working in Customer Service! Well done Maxine :-)
I ordered the same order twice. I didn't find out till later and by that time the orders had been sent out, as they deliver next day. I rang and a very nice young lady told me what to do. I did as she said and the order I didn't want was picked up the next day.
I got my refund a few days later.
This firm is very efficient, very helpful and I will definately use them again.
The items were well packed and of good quality.
The customer service is approachable, polite and the service was really fast.
It is the first time we are buying from Paperstone and we from William Evans are very pleased with the outstanding service.
