TIME WASTERS why pay for next day delivery then not get it the next day.False advertising and should be sued for breach of contract.
Courier picked up the package at 4pm on Friday in UK - to deliver to Belfast for Saturday on a 24 hr delivery service.
Saturday - our guy is at the docks at 6am - no package.
Monday 6am - our guy is again at the docks. no package. Parcel force MD's office in UK and Belfast office have absolutely no idea where the package is. At no point during the day can they say whether it's in UK or Belfast.
Tuesday in middle of the night, our guy gets a call that the package has finally turned up in Belfast.
Positives: the people our guy spoke to were pleasant on the phone.
Negatives: pleasant people on the phone are pointless if we can't get what we needed. This is the point of a 24hr courier service - to deliver in 24hrs. But it took over 80hrs - though we had no idea how long it would take because nobody in Parcel force could tell us where the package was or when it would arrive.
How do you plan around that? (In the event we had to put in place a contingency plan which cost us additional time and money).
In 2013, and in the age of social media, how much longer can an organisation like this get away with this sort of shoddy service. The volume of negative reviews tells a very different story from what's on the 'What our customers think ' section on the Parcelforce website.
I've ticked for this message to be forwarded to Parcelforce. It's time you started listening to your real customers - and using this negative (though invaluable) feedback to change and improve. The feedback on this and other sites tells you consistently where you need to improve. So what's going to be your excuse for not doing so?
Paid for global express delivery for an envelope to be sent from the UK to Indonesia (66 quid) with a guarantee 3-4 days delivery. 11 days on, and I'm still waiting for the envelope to arrive. Been lied to by a rude customer service attendant, who maintains the parcel was held up in Indonesian customs, and refused to admit any liability on her companies behalf by repeatedly saying "its not out fault" as a response to any direction of questioning (after checking this out, I discovered it was in customs, for a total time of just under 6 hours). According to their tracking service, the envelope did not leave the UK until 6 days after it was collected. (thats already double the time of the delivery guarantee) I strongly suggest to anyone thinking of using parcel force to find a courier service elsewhere. . Its now 6pm here, so the best I can hope for, is , on day 12 of a 3 day service, I may receive it.
y. After waiting for my own all day that the tracker said was out for deliver at 6am this morning, I am still without a parcel. I have called your customer services three times, and was hung up on twice. I even changed phones after being hung up on the first time. The lady on the phone could only say "You have to to wait till 6" and "we can't gaurentee delivery". Want a total joke! After waiting from 7am till 6pm I am now furious and will be passing my complaint onto the retailer about your poor service.
I had my order from German Amazon handled by DHL and forwarded to ParcelForce in the UK.
Having received my first Attempted Delivery leaflet which indicated none of the options listed, no tracking number, just my name, I tried twice to order a re-delivery, plus once for the company's own promise to try again the day following the first unsuccessful attempts.
Needless to say, I wasted three days off my work with no further sign of hearing from ParcelForce (apart from automated confirmation of having processed my redelivery orders). I started to be seriously concerned after reading some of the other customer reviews here so I decided to contact the Customer Service via e-mail, asking whether they can confirm the state of my parcel as well as for advice on what to do if I don't know any details needed for collection at the Depot or the Post Office.
I got a reply the next evening, within 12 working hours as they promised. They found a match to my name, confirmed having accepted a parcel from Germany and having taken it to the local Post Office (which I asked for, after all). They also sent me the tracking number in the e-mail, which I needed to collect my item there. I got my hands on it the same evening (the outer packaging slightly damaged but the inside perfectly intact), ending my stress lasting for a week already.
In summary, there were three main problems,
- that the original leaflet was empty, did not indicate leaving the item at the Post Office and did not list the tracking number, needed for collection,
- that they did not attempt to deliver the next day, even if their policy says so,
- that the online interface happily confirms your redelivery order even if they don't have the parcel any more.
However, the Customer service was quick, nice and helpful and solved all my trouble in but one e-mail.
UPDATED: Apart from a quick reply via e-mail, ParcelForce called me at a later point, even leaving voicemail, to clarify all the details and say how they sorry they were that I had a bad experience. How nice of them!
So, my sender paid a princely sum of £48 to have an urgent delivery with me on a guaranteed Saturday service. Guess what..?
You guessed it, it never turned up. Loaded on the van at 5AM this morning but no delivery..
Utter sham and a waste of time. Thanks a f'in bunch you morons... -.-
Let me save you a lot of wasted time, money and frustration:
You'll pay extra specifically for a Saturday delivery.
You'll check the Parcelforce website, which will dutifully say that your parcel has been loaded on to a van for delivery.
Because of this, you will have confidence that the delivery is coming and you will wait around ALL DAY.
The delivery will not arrive.
You will then have to take a day off in the vain hope that your delivery might arrive, costing you a lot of the aforementioned money.
Do yourself a favour: Buy somewhere else, or fetch it yourself.

My postcode shows my house on Google and Bing maps. ParcelFarce unable to locate premises. Who developed the postcode? After sending more information about my address the response is a standard email plus this useless information:
Thank you for your email.
I have checked the tracking information and your parcel is out for delivery today. Delivery will take place between 7am and 5.30pm unless it has been placed on one of our timed services.
Posted a PC in full working order and insured the package up to its full amount. Used generous amounts of bubble wrap *and* thick packing paper folded over on itself. The PC arrived at its destination with a hole punched clean through the outer box and the casing bent. The PC no longer works. Parcelforce are refusing to offer compensation based on "insufficient packaging". What degree of packaging am I REASONABLY expected to provide? It looks as though someone drop kicked it into the van or dropped it from 5+/- feet. I do not expect my goods to be treated that way when I've paid to have them safely delivered. While I appreciate that people are more likely to post negative reviews than positive one, their Trustpilot rating really says it all. Utterly unacceptable.
read all the review here and make your mind up! i have...
I needed to send some Important Documents from UK to LEBANON.
I took my chance and chose to use Parcel Force and The Documents were delivered in 2 working days. Just Perfect. I am impressive by their Service. Just Perfect.
I have to say that Parcel Force is the first company that was able to deliver directly to my house without asking me direction. That is impressive.
I will from now on use them all the time.
Thank you Parcelforce.
After a missed delivery i nipped out for 2 minutes (they don't give a time not even am/pm)! I received a delivery note saying "we will deliver again tomorrow". I thought i would be on the safe side so i called them this morning and was informed it would be delivered today but they could not give a time. Anyway after waiting IN all day at 4:00pm this afternoon i called to ask for a progress report and was told the parcel has been in their depot all day.
Screwfix will not get my business anymore while they continue to use this courier.
I have been waiting for a car part for the last 2 days now which is desperately needed and should be getting delivered by Parcelforce. It was sent Express 24 last friday.
I checked the tracker over the weekend and it was sent to the wrong depot early saturday morning. When they realised the mistake, it was put on the back of the lorry to go back to the Hub in Coventry on monday evening.
So when it didn't arrive on the monday i rang their customer service, who first told me that if its sent friday by Express 24 it'll arrive tuesday. When i told him he was wrong he decided to hang up on me. So i rang back and spoke to someone else, first thing i asked was, when should something arrive if sent by Express 24 on a friday. The reply, "Monday"...... I explained that i really needed the parcel so she said she would get the depot to contact me. Unsurprisingly they never did!
So along comes Tuesday(Today) and according to the tracker, the parcel is still at the national hub in Coventry.... Obviously by now it should have left the national hub, arrived at the regional depot and been sent out for delivery. So i rang customer service once more.....again he tried to fob me off saying that this is normal and it would be sent out tomorrow. After explaining to him why he was wrong and describing how 24 hr distribution should work he came out with the cracker, "Well Coventry is in the north so it takes awhile for it to get there".....Oh dear, i hope not everyone who works for Parcelforce has been using the same map as this guy.
I wouldn't usually have been that bothered by their inability to deliver on time, but i need the part for my car urgently, and i have plans which require use of my car over the next 3 days. I guess my plans will have to be changed because Parcelforce don't understand what a 24hr delivery service is.
So it looks like Parcelforces Express 24 service is more like Not-So-Express 144. I for one will avoid them at all costs in future.
Ordered a new PC Monday and paid for express delivery.Didn't know they were using Parcelfarce now , didn't last time.
No delivery, no card and attempted delivery was marked on online tracking.
Other services found flat easily all morning, the building access to flats is on a timer and is open all morning.
Contacted merchant [Ebuyer, Excellent service] who contacted Parcelfarce.
*** At time parcel was scanned while unsucessful delivery was supposedly being attempted, vans GPS showed it nowhere near my address. ***
Driver is now returning to deliver parcel after phone conversation between him and his manager. I hope the parcel arrives undamaged.
Just collected my shipment from Knutsford, UK to Avigliana, Turin, Italy. The Italian courier GLS worked fine and delivery was done on time with no problems. Took a little to make sure the "personal items" was present on the parcels, but the Call Centre (Stoke) was very helpful For the price paid I am very, very satisfied.
Checked I could send 4 boxes of tiles using the super expensive express 10 delivery. When I received the goods every single tile was smashed into tiny pieces (and dust). On appealing they said tiles weren't under the compensated items and I should know this. I argues that clearly either they treated them overly roughly or tiles shouldn't be accepted as suitable for express10. They refused to answer my question and refused to compensate or refund. Avoid avoid avoid.

"I see a lot of very biased reviews of Parcel Force that have been based on little more than a one time bad experience."
17 bad experiences. 17.
Why do the USPS hand everything over to these muppets.
7 were, "lost," something of a Parcelforce specialty. All seven were insured, they argued for months. Never paid out a penny. Never admitted fault and never even apologised.
2 were irreparably damaged, again insured, again nothing.
The remaining 8 all involved the fact it is not possible to communicate with them. I sent e-mails, replies took 8-13 days by which time the packages were "lost."
The e-mails always denied any knowledge or accountability.
I phoned them up with reference numbers provided by their so-called tracking. Again they denied all knowledge.
I did not think it was possible to be more incompetent or have worse customer service than Lloyds TSB.
Bravo Parcelforce. I don't know how you manage it, I really don't
Firstly I ordered a heavy scratch post, I waited and waited had to contact the seller
Who said it was at the not so local post office
Now I have no transport so I had to get my dad to help me get it
But they didn't leave a card to say that they had tried or even do a next delay redelivery
Now same thing this time a card was left at the bottom of the stair now there's two doors and I never use the one the driver had left it behind a pipe yes a pipe at the doorway
Neighbour handed to me left at the same post office this time I used the online redelivery service iv waited in all day on my only day off
And nothing, I calked the seller who gave me the tracking number still at the post office
What appended to SERVICE cards through people's door trying to redelivery next day
Non service I'd thought they'd be better than some couriers but they're on the same level as some of the couriers with the same level of non service
I have contacted them again did a redelivery again plus complained which I hate doing
now its happened again i paid extra for a Tuesday delivery, i heard a thump at my door was two parcel outside my door not the third one
so i contacted the company i ordered it from who said was being redelivered today this time no card or anything but shuffed behind the pipe again didn't even bother to get it up my stair called their service who said they have to get the Edinburgh depot to contact me as they never bothered to give me a tracking number or bothered when i wanted to log a complaint
shocking im so angry
I ordered a samsung tablet through a national company, they sent me tracking info for parcelforce. I saw that item was on 48 hr delivery and realised I would be away when they tried to deliver the item, so I would return to a card through the door with instructions to pick up item. I returned to find no item delivered or even a card through the door? I checked the tracking and it stated delivered, so I checked with my neighbours, no sign of item. The signature turned out to be "as instructed" upside down.
Retailer had no luck from parcelforce interviewing driver, but won't refund item as item states delivered? Parcelforce consider leaving an expensive item on a doorstep delivered! Case closed!
On Wednesday, at about 11:00, a delivery attempt was made. Now, anyone with an ounce of common sense would think that if the recipient was out at that time he was probably at work and, therefore, would - in all probability - be out at the same time the following work day. No such luck.
On Thursday, at about 11:00, the delivery was reattempted. How much better would it have been for them to wait until I contacted them to arrange re-delivery at a time when I knew I would be home. Which, in fact, I did - but they ignored.
Unfortunately, via their web site, I had rearranged delivery on a Saturday. Bad move. The web site had no indication that there would be a HUGE additional charge for Saturday delivery. Why the web site couldn't tell me that I don't know. At least they left a message on my phone. Unfortunately the 'phone number field is mandatory. I should have entered CONTACT BY EMAIL ONLY. I don't check for 'phone messages. If it rings I might answer it, or I might not. So, I didn't get the message and delivery was not attempted on Saturday. Since I had contacted them via the Internet, surely the best way to ensure I recieved their reply would be by eMail.
The nearest depot is a 40+ mile round trip to somewhere I have no other reason to go, especially when the town will be crawling with tourists, so I will not be going there to collect the parcel. I will not pay extra for delivery to a different address, or for the parcel to be left at the nearest post office. I've already paid the seller's fee for shipping. It's the seller's responsibility to get the item to me - not just to within 20-odd miles. So, either it is successfully delivered to me - or it will be returned to the seller and I will get a full refund for item not received. Negative feedback will be left as the seller uses an inflexible, customer-unfriendly delivery service.
I will no longer buy from sellers who admit to using Parcel Force. If their shipping method is not stated I will demand a full refund, rather than the item, if they intend to use Parcel Force.
Other online buyers please follow suit and stop sellers using Parcel Force.

Please see the reviews here and note that it took 4-5 days to respond to a complaint by email after a paid for 24 hr service took 10 days to get to an eBayer.
And they make my buyer have to do the hard work for compensation!
THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE DEALT WITH IN FIVE YEARS IN THE UK!
USE ANYONE BUT THIS COMPANY I HOPE THEY GO UNDER SOON!
Twice Parcelforce have tried to deliver when I have been out for 15 minutes dropping my daughter at nursery. After the first failed delivery I put a note on the door stating that I would not be long and if they couldn't wait could they please take the note (as in physically remove it and take it with you) as proof of my request to leave the item in the porch, and as proof of my signature since it was a sign for on delivery item, I left all the details of the parcel on the note so there could be no confusion as to what it referred. Again I get a delivery card saying they couldn't deliver, only this time the delivery person has helpfully circled the bit that says it needs to be signed for... I know, that's why I signed the bit of paper asking you to leave it in the porch, and that's why I explained why I had signed the bit of paper. Honestly, this is ridiculous, why do they not try neighbours? I have 2 small children, there is no day on which I can guarantee to be here all day, my time away from the house is usually short, as in today and yesterday, 15 minutes, how hard can they make this. At least with Royal Mail you just go to the local office to collect it, not Parcelforce, oh no, you have to go to their distribution centre, which is 20 miles away, and the other side of a city, I can see that being a popular journey with a toddler and a baby in the car, not to mention the fact that it would cost me about £10 in fuel etc, and more importantly it would cost me about about 1.25 hrs of my precious time. I am really fed up, I have arranged on the website to have it redelivered tomorrow, but I have to take my daughter to nursery again tomorrow, which will no doubt be the 15 minute window they pick to deliver. Having paid for a next day delivery service on Monday, I am more disappointed than I thought was possible at this service, do they actually want me to have my parcel, it doesn't feel like it? I will certainly avoid Parcel Force where possible in the future, if there is another option available then I will take it.
Will my daughter ever get her bicycle I wonder?
Absolute joke. Spent over 2 weeks building an order for a customer only to have it completely trashed when delivered. I knew it wasn't going to go well when the driver practically threw it on the van right in front of me. It was made out of wood and the hinges were ripped off, plexi glass smashed, corners damaged. What a waste of time! Will never be using in the future!
I had an international delivery with a cost of £117. For this premium service, however, the parcel was completely damaged. I cannot believe it , for such a premium service it could damage my well packed parcel. The parcel must not have been handled carefully and squeezed during delivery.
Because of that, I filled in a claim form in the hope of getting a refund. However, after a long time of over 6 weeks waiting, they simply sent me a letter with the untenable conclusion that they cannot do the refund. There is no way to argue with them, as they just don't listen and care.
My fair suggestion is: really stay away from this company. It is unreliable, poor customer service and treat customers unfairly.
Unfortunately I cannot give a ZERO star so I have been forced to give them one star just to be able to post my review.
Please please please don't use Parcelforce. They are a scam. They are just middlemen when sending even to EU. This is the worst company I have every dealt with. They should be shut down by standards agency.
These guys are a Joke. Their Global Priority is a scam. They will even lie to you that your post will leave in the next available flight and after taking your money they will just give you excuses.
I have lived in many countries, developing and third-world and I have never come across a company worse that Parcelforce.
PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GET CONNED BY THESE GUYS.
Global express is a joke even if you are sending to a well equipped, convenient city like Frankfurt.
Forget about your parcel being on tine, their staff don't even know what they are doing. They will lie to you to get your money and make a false promise of 24 hours delivery if you pay extra for Global Express., even though they fully know that you parcel will not even leave for a couple of days. Their own staff sort of confirmed this to me 36 hours after got me to pay for Global Express 24 hours guaranteed delivery.
And this is not a one-off. These guys are a scam. Just read other reviews if you don't believe me. There is a reason why ParcelForce is the worst reviewed company on the Internet.
With all the packages I receive I always find the driver(s) very pleasant adn the service which they give is excellent.. I have had packages from Europe and here in the UK and they have been fully trackable..Their 24 hour hour service is also excellent...
!!! WELL DONE PARCELFORCE !!!!
I see a lot of very biased reviews of Parcel Force that have been based on little more than a one time bad experience. People are quick to complain but not to praise, so here's a review from a long time customer running an E-Commerce business.
Take a look at all the other couriers, City-Link, DHL, Fed-Ex (to name a few) and now compare their prices to Parcel Force.
Very few restrictions:
Hermes and Collect+ may have better rates, but when you look at size and weight restrictions there's a lot more breathing room with Parcel Force (and the heavier parcels cost a lot less than City-Link etc)
Based on my own negative experiences, I would have to say they perform fairly poorly in the complaints handling department, especially regarding compensation claims (they are slow to reply and you have to do a LOT of chasing things up). On top of that I have watched some very clumsy drivers collect parcels before (completely ignoring my "this side up" notice and flipping it upside down).
No courier is perfect, but if you have bulky parcels to send, be it for business or personal purpose, I strongly recommend getting a quote from Parcel Force first.
UPDATE: 16TH JULY - I've officially had my claim for £50 rejected because I was told I booked it through a third party - Parcel2Go. Not true at all, they just looked at the incorrect tracking number that I was given by the driver. I booked directly through the Parcelforce website. All this was explained clearly when I first made the claim. Customer service does not get any worse than this.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW
I've always used Parcelforce for delivering large packages and have had no serious issues with them until the last month. I don't know if they've suddenly gotten worse or I've just had good luck until now. Judging from the reviews here I think the latter is true. I'll try to keep this brief since it's quite a long story. If you don't want to read the full review all you need to know is this: Parcelforce are fine if nothing goes wrong, however if it does they have the worst customer service imaginable.
OK I sold a guitar on eBay which was supposed to be delivered to Essex. I opted to have the driver attach the label as always and there's never been a problem doing it that. Unfortunately this time there was. He attached the wrong label to my package. I realised this about 30 mins after it had been collected because when I looked at the tracking number I noticed it started with EK, which I've never had on an inland item before. So I went online to look at the receipt I'd been sent after I booked the delivery and found at that I had in fact been given the wrong tracking number and therefore the wrong address label would also have been attached to my package.
At this point I wasn't overly concerned since I assumed that it would be able to taken care of fairly easily (wrong). I got the number for the Manchester depot and spoke to someone there who was extremely impatient and just wanted to get me off the phone as quick as possible. I tried to explain what had happened but before I could even tell him he was ringing the driver and telling me to hold the line. When he got back on he assured me that the driver had realised his error and my package would now be delivered to the correct address.
However the next day the person who'd bought the guitar informed me that Parcelforce had tried to deliver a small package to him that clearly wasn't the guitar. At this point I started to worry. I called the Manchester depot again and spoke to someone who told me that he going to deal with it and get back to me. This was in the morning around 10 AM. I called back at 2PM and couldn't get through to him so I rang the depot and the person there said he'd call me back. 4PM, still no call so I called them again. Told I'd be called back. Waited and finally got a call at around 6PM. Was told the driver had indeed put the wrong label on my package and it was headed to Turkey (Brilliant). However I was told that they would contact the international hub and make sure that it didn't leave the country.
Fast forward 24 hours - it's left the country. How a company the size on Parcelforce cannot keep a parcel that they know is about to be wrongly delivered to a foreign country inside the UK when they have 24 hours to accomplish it (the tracking information shows that) is beyond belieft. So I'm then told by the person at the Manchester depot the next day (after I contacted them again after being told they'd contact me), that the parcel had left the country. He assured me that he would have it sent straight back to the Manchester depot and contact me as soon as it got there.
The last contact I had with the Manchester depot was Thursday 27th June. It's now Friday the 5th July. I was told that the guitar would be back in Manchester early this week and I'd be contact as soon as it was. In that time I've lost the sale and had to refund the buyer and noticed that the guitar was actually attempted to be delivered in Turkey. Obviously the person I spoke to in Manchester did nothing to try and get it back here and has made no effort to contact me. Also Parcelforce made two attempts during this time to deliver wrong items to my buyer. It's a complete shambles
SUMMARY: If you read all that - well done :). I realise this story isn't necessarily interesting to anyone else but I do think it highlights just how terrible the customer service at Parcelforce is. No one there seems to be able to control what's happening at their own depot, nevermind any other part of the company.
Here's what most annoys me about the whole thing though: I realise that once the driver had stuck the wrong label on my parcel things could potentially get very tricky. However I realised very soon after it had been collected ( no longer than 60 mins at the very most) that an error had been made. If the person I'd spoken to initially at the Manchester depot had been patient and actually let me speak, I could have easily explained to him that the item was a guitar, in a guitar bag (i.e you couldn't mistake it) and have given him the full address. But instead he just wanted to hang up and has cost Parcelforce another 1 star review and lost them a customer forever. Well done :)
Note: I don't blame the driver at all for this. He's very friendly and we've had no problem with him for the years we've been using Parcelforce. What I have a problem with is the terrible customer service I've experienced from the people who work at the Manchester depot. They're clearly not interested in dealing with problems when something's gone wrong and promised to take care of this and keep me informed. They've done neither. Will never be using them again.
As an Amazon prime customer I used to love the way I'd get parcels next day, generally through DPD or HDL...perfect every time. However PARCELFARCE seems to be the new favorite for Amazon, much to my disappointment. Probably the cheapest option with the most disgruntled employees. They are never on time, leave parcels with people who live some 5 doors away (people I don't know) without calling cards then have the audacity to claim that leaving parcels in my garden shed as 'more that my job's worth mate'. Then next time leave them on the doorstep ! At least give me some consistancy, It not a guessing game, these are valuable purchases. All smacks of laziness to be honest
I bought a new medical support boot so I could get out of my plaster cast, having had a failed metal ankle joint replaced. I would really like to get out of my plaster cast in which I am not allowed to walk into the Aircast boot, in which I am. The seller kindly went to the post office in Mansfield first thing on Saturday (9AM) to get it to me as quickly as possible. Parcelfarce did not even pick it up until 4 PM yesterday and so far it has got 16 miles further and is sitting in the depot in Nottingham. At that rate it will take two weeks to reach me in Sussex. Wilson
Sent a table to a customer and made the arrangement by phone. It was collected by a friendly guy with no problem and with ease. He did mention that the table would be going to Coventry before heading back north to Washington (I'm in North Yorkshire)
When the table arrived with a smacked corner the customer went mad.....with me!
I had to refund the table and have the table collected via a different carrier of course. When I made a complaint I was told the table wasn't covered by their terms and conditions which I hadn't seen or been told about! I made the complaint as I was advised to do this by a girl I spoke to. I received 3 emails within 5 mins. One asking for more information then 2 telling me they wouldn't do anything or take it further! How dare they take my money for a service, damage my item and then not recognise their own poor service? NEVER EVER use them. I am now in touch with the Trading Standards office who will be on their case. The Citizens Advice are amazed at their shabby behaviour. I am not.
As a Prime customer, I order loads of stuff from amazon, 2 or 3 deliveries a week - delivery service used to be excellent, but since they've been using Parcel Farce more and more, the service has gone backwards. Most recent delivery was shown on the Amazon website as delivered with me as recipient, but as of 2 days later, I still didn't have it. Just got a knock on the door from one of my neighbours with my parcel that had been left in her recycling bin presumably 2 days ago with neither her or me receiving a card through the door telling us the package had been left and where. Very poor service that reflects badly on Amazon
INEXCUSABLY EXPENSIVE, GUARANTEED UNRELIABILITY & GUARANTEED TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! What more could you possibly want from an international courier service!
Parcel force is by far the worse international courier I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Despite having paid £50 for a small parcel, weighing less that 1kg, to be delivery to Germany from UK via "Global Priority" service - apparently a guaranteed 3 days service, Parcel force decide to hold the parcel in there depot in UK for 3 days before even attempting to send to Germany!
Needless that parcel took working 7 days to arrive! When I tried to claim "delivery delay" compensation I was advised this would not be granted as Parcel Force were experiencing difficulties beyond their control!
This is unfortunately not the first time its happened, all I can say is more fool me for booking their service more than once!
I was in problems before. but this that just happen was a lot worst experience.
1- A seller by ebay choice this service. Was a horrible experience for me and for the seller. Ebay give me a refund
2- Parcelforce leave me a ticket to pick my item.....yes in ACTON!! really far form here. them i choice go to the website and ask redeliver to Richmond under my pay.
THE ITEM NEVER GET THERE EITHER IF I RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION. THEM I TRAVEL 2 TIMES AND CALL THE ROYAL MAIL TO ASK ABOUT....NO ITEM
After the item FINALLY BACK TO THE SELLER!!!
3- Them email of apologies using a Damn Template!!!
At my feedback... JUST HOPE THEY GO BANKRUPT SOON!!
Like most people, I have ordered a lot of products online and I've only ever had problems with ParcelFarce. Two parcels have gone missing at the same depot - assuming incompetence, theft or dmage and destruction; and one late parcel. Secondly their compensation process is designed to make you give up when they clearly owe you by their own terms.
I will not buy from any companies that use this courier.
I would recommend avoiding them like the plague.
For the second time in six months, Parcelforce have delivered a parcel to the wrong address (and I've only received two parcels from them in that time so it's two out of two delivered to the wrong address). Last time it was the wrong street with a different postcode about half a mile away, This time, the address they've delivered my parcel to is THREE MILES AWAY!!! Wasted about two hours of my time and a small fortune on their extortionate 0844 numbers to get any sensible response. Thanks to Victor in the Reading depot for that, but everyone else in Parcelforce, especially the delivery driver(s) responsible, has been totally, staggeringly incompetent. I will not do business with any firm using Parcelforce in future. If you are a retailer, use another courier or I for one will not do business with you.
I am really unsatisfied with their delivery service. All I can see on the tracking system is their attempt to deliver my parcel while I'm in home waiting for it without hearing the buzzer ringing. Really unhappy especially that it happened before with a couple of orders.
I would urge them to let their deliver guys use a mobile to contact the customers to let them know they are outside. This would save them some resources while keeping the customers happy!
