Work force of THIEVES!!!!

I had ordered some apparel from a high profile Custom Bike Builder in the United States, obviously I expected to pay the usual import duty tax & recieved card through the letter box stating just so,I rang the number, paid the tax & as i was at work the parcel was left at the local post office for me to collect....
On collecting my parcel it had become apparent that it had already been tampered with & re-sealed with a 4 digit postal sticker,I opened the parcel to find half of the items I bought had already been re-moved!
I contacted Parcel Force 1st by telephone & was bluntly told i had to make a complaint on-line before being hung up on!
I wrote an e-mail & the response was it was down to the sender to refund my money not Parcel Force,I contacted the seller telling them of the situation, who in turn got confirmation from US customs that the parcel went through with out being tampered with......
Again I e-mailed Parcel Force with all the relevent information as well as asking which part of the british postal servive uses the 4 digit stickers on the parcels to indentify them? Basic answer was "Get Stuffed,we're not at liberty to help you with your complaint any further!!!"
Looks like some "Little Johnny's" gonna get some nice Xmas presents in his stocking this year thanks to his thieving Scum-Bag parent!!!......

bunch of liars!

i heard a knock at the door and as i had just come off a night shift i had to get up. didn't take any longer than 15 seconds to get downstairs and when i got to the door, the driver had left the parcel outside my door and was already in his van driving off!

I tracked the parcel online and it had been signed for by the driver. That is really bad as what if the parcel had been stolen? I would have lost £30 of dog food!!

I complained to them later that day and said it's disgusting blah blah blah.

They later replied saying that it wasn't a service that needs a signature. Um hello?? It was signed for. So i sent another message with the print screen of the signature that isn't mine. Still waiting for a reply. It's a shame i can't use another company to get my stuff delivered. I'll just have to go in store next time.

Wherever you can, avoid at all costs!!!

EDIT: 11/12/12

haha what a joke! just tried ringing them as they haven't replied to my 2nd message and there is a problem with line and to ring back later! you are a bunch of frauds and i will be reporting you

Worse parcel delivery company

Complete liars. Never ring the door bell with about a dozen deliveries in two years, yet the postman is able to ring the bell ok.

Constantly having to drive and park in town to go and pick up from the post office. if I wanted to go to the shops I wouldnt have bought the items online.

Their customer service is useless its handled by people who have never seen a parcel or a doorbell and probably not even in the UK.

When you ring the 08xx number it sends you to another depot, only to be told my local depot have switched their phones off.

Why people still use them I dont know ?

!!!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!!

This company employ Liars!!!!

Have been flooded out and desperately need a dehumidifier which I ordered for next day (Saturday) delivery from Screwfix. When the item hadn't arrived by midday I checked and discovered to my horror (from previous experience of this dreadful company who treat other peoples property with no care at all) that Parcelforce were in charge of the delivery. The item was loaded onto the van at the Swansea depot at 0706 and at 1134 stated 'Address problem - unable to locate premises'. My address is the only property in my postcode and a sat nav brings you straight to my front door. I have received numerous deliveries this year from other firms and there has never been a problem. I assume the idiot driver was coming to the end of his shift and couldn't be arsed to finish the job he is paid to do - probably desperate to go and watch Swansea girls play!!! Never mind, my house will remain damp and thanks to this joke of a company my dehumidifier will be treated to a weekend of being thrown about in the back of a van!!!!

Parcelforce

Couldn't organise the proverbial do in a brewery!

I ordered a package from a reputable company. Couldn't have the goods delivered during the working week because nobody would be home so I paid the extra for a Saturday morning delivery. Guess what - no sign of the parcel. Checked the tracking number to find that the parcel had arrived in the local Parcelfarce depot at 6:30 in the morning but they couldn't manage to get it into a van for delivery. In my opinion they've stolen the money from me because they charged a premium for their so-called Saturday morning delivery. The sooner this bunch of jokers are sold to a competent company the better.

Parcelforce

Do Parcelforce know how to use a door bell?!

I've been waiting in all day for my delivery which I paid extra to receive today and it has not arrived. The postman rang the door bell earlier and I let him in - so no problems with my door bell or my hearing so they obviously didn't even ring the door bell or leave a card, although their website said they attempted to deliver today and have left a card! Rang up to complain, the poor guy at the other end sounded battered from numerous complaint calls that day. They are shockingly awful - I don't know why any company use them to deliver their products as they damage good companies reputations! Have rang M&S who immediately apologies and gave me a full refund on my delivery charge - I now have to source champagne elsewhere for the party I'm going to tonight!

Parcelforce

Utterly Rubbish Service yet again.

Ordered a PC for myself and Paid for ParcelForce 24.......No item 48 hours later and it said it had been delivered which was news to me!!
Checked the signature and lo and behold....its just some random lines. So im now £60 out of pocket and someone is using my new PC no doubt!
Whats the point of the Signature recorded delivery when its not checked with actual ID....This companies inability to think and operate with a slightly below average intelligence is pityful!

There's Plenty of good delivery companies out there struggling for work yet these Idiots still going!.......Im yet to recieve a reply from them and Its to late to ring them.......Soooo annoyed!

ParcelForce doesnt deserve Our buisness!

Parcelforce

dreadful rural service

Ordered a computer for my son's birthday and paid for next day delivery. Parcel arrived in my local depot at 11.41am but as it "missed the postman" was not delivered till the following day. Local depot is less than six miles from my home. Could easily have collected if I'd been informed of this ludicrous situation. I paid for Parcel Force Next Day not Royal Mail.

Parcelforce

Terrible, cocky and don't give a damn about your personal property

I arranged for a tv to be collected with Parcelforce and went through on the phone about what the parcel was, they told me that glass is not insured but if anything else would be damaged I would be covered, I have a recording of this conversation! I even paid extra for the parcel for the value of £500. I received the tv and it was smashed, the outer frame cracked and split, the screen shattered and it won't turn on, just makes a buzzing noise. I put a claim in. It was rejected. I was told if the screen had not have been damaged I would have a claim, but the screen has smashed the claim is now void. I contacted them and told them of my conversation, they simply said I was miss informed and its policy. I appealed again, but, this time I requested the conversation to be listened to. They listened and re-opened the claim and said to me on the phone, yes, someone has miss-sold you, please fill in the claim form and send evidence. Great, I thought I had got what was fair, but, no, they rejected it again, even though I showed photos and proof of purchase, just simply said your item had glass, so no claim!!! I called again and the lady said, looks like someone hasn't read the reason why it was re-opened, I was told to email claims manager. I have and am still awaiting a response. I will post the outcome on here and everywhere else I can connect Parcelforce with. I think its a disgrace, and what really gets me is the way some of the staff at claims talk over you, keeping repeating terms and conditions terms and conditions, as your trying to explain to them, that is really annoying, as if they get a buzz out of it.

Parcelforce

48 hour delivery, arrived in 1 day! FANTASTIC!

Would highly recommend (I don't work for parcelforce, I must have been the lucky one out of all the disappointed customers).

Parcelforce

Lost the package, imposed payment and 5 month later delivered it back to us...

A copy of the message I left them:

On June 22nd, 2012, I sent a package to be delivered to the Univeristy of Strasbourg in express delivery.
Within 2 weeks as it had not been delivered we inquired and were told Parcel Force had lost track of the package. A bit later the company nonetheless forced to pay... for a delivery which never occured.
On Nov. 19, 2012, i.e. 5 months later, the package was delivered back to our University without having reached Strasbourg. A form filled up on Nov. 14th had been added claiming that delivery at P.O. box was not permitted (the University of Strasbourg received mails and express deliveries every single day) and that it needed a CP72 custom form to be filled up. If this Nov. 14th note were to be taken seriously it would have taken five months for Parcel Forces to address an express delivery and find an excuse for not completing their side of the deal.

In contrast, taking 5 months to address an express delivery contract not only highlights the lack of professionalism of Parcel Force as a company, but also adds insult to injuries.

My only advice is to stay away from such a company...

They've Let The Chimps Out Of London Zoo

I couldn't agree more with most of the reviews I've read about this lot! I wasn't joking with the title to this review either - chimps could easily do a better job than this shower of incompetent IDIOTS! I'm waiting for a parcel from America wich I should have got over a week ago. There excuse (after I managed to get one) was that I hadn't paid the customs charge even though I had the reference number for the payment and proof that the money had gone out of my account, plus the email from them confirming it would be delivered the following day. I rang them up and the lame brained bimbo I spoke to had absolutely no idea what to do. She said I would get a phone call the next day which I didn't - no surprises there.

The thing took far less time to come from the far end of America than its taken these PRATS to bring it 18 miles!

Avoid these arseholes at all costs, unless you like grief and heartache at every quarter. I've only given them a 1 star rating because there's no option to give them none or I would have done!

AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE THING TO GET HERE!!!

Parcelforce

Utterly terrible

Had nothing but bad experiences with Parcelforce. Faked deliveries. Not even knocking and leaving a 'we tried to deliver' note. NEVER deliver within the time-frame that you pay for. Always have to chase them up. VERY inefficient. Charge a bomb for international deliveries coming in to the UK.

Quite simply the worst delivery service.

Royal Mail for some reason are absolutely fine however...

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. Whether you're ordering stuff online or sending something, check and make sure you're not using Parcelforce.

Use Citylink or DPD or something.

Glasgow to Essex was fine but the last 1 mile, NO ONE KNOWS

AWFUL!
In Garelochhead (near Glasgow) I sent a package to Essex on express 24 service with guaranteed Saturday delivery. The Garelochhead post office were hesitant because they were not sure if they could contact the driver to pick up the parcel. This was problem #1. The whole process was ambiguous from the start. I was, however, charged £28.30 and told that it may arrive; that was the best answer they could give. It was a reasonably urgent package so I had to give it a go.

On Saturday morning it did NOT arrive at the destination. I was very annoyed indeed. I called up the depot in Essex and they said that it was successfully picked up from Garelochhead (which I was surprised about) and made it to Southend, Essex, 4 miles from its destination by 0600 AM on Saturday. However, the depot manager said she did not know why it was not put on the delivey van for the last few miles. I pushed her for a better answer but all I was told was that she did not know; BASICALLY AN AMBIGUOUS AND TOTALLY UNSATISFACTORY ANSWER.

I guess people are more inclined to post if the service was bad so this may not be a totally representative sample of customer experiences. However, my experience of their service, from start to finish, was UNPLEASANT and EXPENSIVE and now I am told that I must now go through a drawn out and unfair compensation process:

1. claim compensation within 30 days or its void
2. and then wait up to 8 weeks my claim to be processed
3. claims for my method of post are only 50% of the cost (why??)
4. an that if I get refunded I will be reimbursed by cheque!?!?!?!?

CRAP!

Parcelforce

Utter crap, Need to be shut down.

After purchasing a Item by parcel force 48 on 31st october 2012, It being 4th November 2012 now you would have though it would be here, Wrong with parcel force it appears IT NEVER GETS HERE.

This is the second time I've purchased a item that has been sent through parcel force and the second time IT HASN'T ARRIVED

When I check the tracking number it claims that delivery was made but no one answered, I have been there and family members have been there for the whole duration of the day before, the day and the day after delivery was claimed to be made. they claim that the Item has now been returned to sender, hopefully the sender will have a wise idea and just send the item with city link who never fail to impress with there delivery.

In conclusion parcel force are a utter pile of w**k who deserve absolutely none of the business they get, they have had two chances with me and failed drastically on both of them chances.

I will be contacting trading standards regarding both issues, but however I feel this may just be like pissing into the wind.

And if parcel force want to review the matter and actually put it right for once, my tracking number is FWDR6593094GB

Still waiting for Express 24

Ordered a product that was sent by Parcelforce Express 24. Order sent on 31/10/12, it is now 3/11/12 and my delivery has still not arrived.

I telephoned Parcelforce today to ask where my delivery is and was told it would be delivered today. No delivery. This service is terrible, truly terrible. I am waiting for a 24 hour delivery parcel some 72 hours after the vendor sent it.

Excellent service

Parcel force were really understanding and helpful when my disabled client missed a delivery. It was dropped off at the local Post office but Russell had no way of getting it. I called the help desk on his behalf and they said they would contact the original driver.

The parcel was dropped off at Russell's door within an hour!

Great service for someone in need!

Parcelforce

Uncompromising Incompetency

Six weeks and I still cannot get a refund. I wonder if Parcelforce can set a new world record. ANyway the company says they have no record of the transaction but the money has clearly left my bank account.

Despite being able to tell Parcelforce every last detail they require still no joy. The most frustrating thing though is the lack of consistency in the competency of the staff. Some people are helpful and know how to deal with queries whilst other just tell you they cannot help and theres nothing they can do and pass the problem on.

And the delivery driver cannot record the tracking number correctly and you tend to not receive confirmation emails. Its just poor all round.

I won't use this company again.

Lost passports, horrible customer service, misleading, slow, inefficient...... arghhhhhhhh

I posted my husband's passports using Parcelforce worldwide's secure 3 day delivery. Tried to use their online tracker, which may as well have been written in Mandarin. Three weeks later and no parcel.
I sent two emails, 4 days apart to enquire what had happened. No reply.
I phoned them. they said they'd look into it. Three further days later I get a call from a customer service operative who didn't seem to have a clue what he was talking about. He said he'd just contacted the US office and would "launch a thorough investigation."
Suffice to say they've now admitted that they've lost the passports. Didn't apologise. Didn't offer anything. I've applied for compensation online and, surprise surprise, have heard nothing.
I can't put into words how angry I am at this horrible company.

My iphone 4s

I bought an iphone 4s in Glasgow apple store and traveled with it to Africa in July, when i arrived in africa i find it was locked even tho i paid it cash. when i contact Apple they asked me to return it in the shop to unlock it. i used UPS to ship it to my girlfriend in Edinburgh so she can take it to Glasgow apple store. after fixing the phone she went to post office and used Parcel force for delivery.

after two weeks waiting and calling parcel force, they confirmed in writing that my iphone 4s is lost and they asked my girlfriend to fill some claim forms. now its been two months them people playing us around everyday. why is this happening? we even took there insurance for gods sake..

any advise please people?

AVOID PARCELFORCE AT ALL COSTS

Perhaps the worst parcel company you could ever do business with. Appalling service. Ordered 48 hour delivery and have now been waiting for over 4 weeks for the package to arrive. Furthermore have made daily phone calls to the local office with ZERO replies from them except for empty promises of a callback. You are better off with budget carriers. Complaint has been lodged to parcelforce for over a week but has been duly ignored. I cannot emphasise enough - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Parcelfarce

So, day 1. I wait in all day. Nothing. Go to the door later than evening and find a delivery card. Clearly didn't knock or ring bell.

Rearranged delivery.

Day 2. No delivery at all. No phone call, no delivery card. Call depot at 5.30 and told driver had an accident and a new driver has been sent out. Parcel will still arrive that day. Nothing.

Day 3. Call first thing in morning, told it was loaded to the van and would be delivered. Having already taken two days off work and unable to canc every meeting this week I ask if they can prioritise my delivery for early that day. Told they will contact the driver.
Call them back an hour later, told they haven't got hold of driver yet. Repeat every hour until 1. Apparently their drivers are totally uncontactable. I eventually have no choice but to go out.
Come home, no delivery card but website says they tried to deliver at 2.

After me repeatedly phoning them again they reluctantly agreed to deliver today, Saturday, before ten. Likelihood? Pretty slim that they will do anything as promised.

If Tesco can give you a one hour delivery slot then surely a specialist delivery service could try to be half as efficient. And here's a thought. When you promise to call: call. When you break your promises: call. At some point in the massive failure: call your customer to explain, resolve, or just let them know what on earth is going on.

Nightmare company.

1 out of 4 parcels arrived with no hassle

This company is the example of how bad the customer service can be. Out of 4 parcels that were sent to my address, 3 were problematic: first ended up in post office with no notice left, second was left in their depot for over a week after arriving from abroad (The parcel arrives from abroad in few days, then it ends up waiting in a hub for weeks - parcelforce are well known for that), now the third one arrived from USA forwarded by USPS and while I was assured it will arrive yesterday (after multiple calls to their customer service), the package did not turn up. They also hold your package as a ransom for some non-sense "customs handling fee" while it is illegal to delay your package - they settle out of court if you complain. In summary - their service is comparable to worst eastern europe companies. Pretty sad concerning the fact they are so widespread while there are cheaper couriers providing better service.

MD cuts cost by NOT employing managers

Posted original birth certificate, marriage certificate to SA. Pd £60.00 for guaranteed, signed delivery within 7 days. At the same time, posted insignificant documents to the same address using normal mail & pd £7.00.
The £7.00 documents were delivered within 7 days.
3 weeks later, I am still waiting for delivery of the guaranteed parcel.
The international team advised parcel was delivered at 17:30 on Friday, but nobody was around. Daughter states there was no note left by courier. PF told me would look into it and get back to me. Needless to say, zilch, nada. I phoned again. This time they gave me bogus numbers in SA to phone. Oh yes, & an address: Cape mail hub. This is like telling someone their parcel can be found at London mail hub ! Idiot.
Now try and lodge a complaint or speak with a manager. Bloody impossible!!!! It would appear, PF have no managers or complaint team, just customer service reps who don't even know their real names or possibly they don't know the names of their colleagues!!
that could explain why their service is so appalling. Of course, the MD is just laughing all the way to the bank, whilst his customers are crying out of sheer frustration that they can't even speak to a manager or obtain the correct SA contact details or address ! !

HOPELESS

Try ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door before leaving your pre-prepared delivery card.

Take a leaf out of other delivery companies .... advise customers of expected delivery time of your parcel .. haven't your heard of mobile phones?

Useless *****

Ordered an item from Japan sent via EMS.

Kept tracking my order online only to be told for the past 2 weeks it has been sitting at the Romford depot waiting for customs charges to be paid. It took 5 days to deliver a letter to me when I live 15 minutes up the road.

Once I received the demand for monies, I went straight online on 2nd August to pay the charges, done no problem, received a receipt to say payment received and will be delivered on Tuesday.

No delivery on Tuesday, no delivery on Wednesday, so called them to be told they had not received payment, wtf????

I explained I had it on my online statement and also a receipt from Parcelforce themselves but still they insist I haven't made payment.

Really can't write on here what I think of them at the moment :( :(

Parcelforce

Incometence and Non-performance

I paid a premier service for a shipment from US to UK and here are some interesting discoveries I have made with the tracking no.

1. It takes 2 days for the parcel to be delivered to UK by USPS for a 2500 mile long journey.

2. It takes 2 days for the UK Custom to clear it.

3. It takes 3 days and ticking for Parcelforce to deliver Custom notice with the depot 5 miles from my doorstep. They are also shameless enough to charge an 8 pound process fee for that.

It is safely say this company has all the incompetent and ignorant sides of Royal Mail which in turn is usually an excellent service provider.

The miracle of their survival is totally based on the unfair competition of using the Royal Mail’s existing network and infrastructures which are not available to other very hardworking, organized and responsive services. They won’t survive for a day without the support of Royal Mail given the service they provide and the fee they charge.

In short, they are shite!

Parcelforce

TERRIBLE

I organised a parcel to be collected and delivered to my home address using a 48 hour delivery service to make sure I was home.
My first attempt at this ended up in the parcel being collected on a friday and sent back on the Monday saying it was not wrapped correctly. My second attempt was even worse as the item was delivered a day early to the wrong road! (I would of been very happy it was a day early if I was in and it was sent to the correct address)
A note was left at a hairdressers saying there parcel was left next door with a paper shop. This is 5 roads away from me.
I am disgusted with the service that I have received. I am lucky that the lady came and told me that it was with her.
I would not recommend them to anyone. I have not been satisfied with the customer service as they do not seem to care at all.

Disgusting Rude Yobbish staff

Local Parcelfarce depot has a little man with a big chip on the shoulder as depot manager and every delivery from them is a problem- the deliveries are made, but with the most awful attitude, with the driver being as unpleasant as possible and intimidating to my partner, an older woman, who has been upset by their yobbish behaviour a few times now. Complaints go nowhere, they are either ignored or you are told its all your fault and its your word against the perfect employee who the company protects to the hilt. We don't ever use PF but can't help getting items from companies who do as they don't advertise who they will be using, generally. Nottingham depot is a disgrace as are the ill-mannered yobs from there who find such pleasure in behaving so offensively .

Delivered to elderly neighbours

A recent large and valuable package was delivered to elderly neighbours along the street from me who I barely know. This is one step better than leaving it on the doorstep whichParcel Force have done in the past.

There is no time or even day booked so people cannot be expected to put their life on hold for 2 days in case the courier turns up. Even when we have been in the house they have left parcels on the step without even knocking.

heres a thought

try knocking and trying to deliver rather than sticking preprepared cards through the door to make us come to the depot, shysters

Parcelforce

terrible, what's the point of insurance if they refuse to pay?

terrible, what's the point of insurance if they refuse to pay? They refused to pay as the said it had 'inadequate packaging'. The packaging used were specially designed guitar boxes (the guitar was double boxed), that I received a new guitar in - that arrived with me in perfect condition. The fact is they must have dropped it from a significant height to do the amount of damage present. Why do they sell insurance if it is worthless? My car insurance pays up no matter what the cause of the damage, and my assumption when taking out this insurance on the guitar was that it was insured for this type of damage. The insurance seems to be worthless. I will never use this company again. They are effectively blaming me for the damage, when itvwas one of their employees who caused it. I am most unhappy. Avoid this company.

Employ people who take the time to write properly?

Just arrived home after waiting in ALL day til 6.30 assuming there was no likely chance of any parcels being delivered after that and have a card through the door telling me my parcel has been left at 'squiggly line'

I have no idea where my parcel has been left. It is now 10.30 PM. I cant go knocking on doors asking.
I have also asked before for parcels to NOT be left at any other address than my own. I wish these companies would stop doing this. I do not want neighbours bothered wth having to accept parcels for me. Just leave a card to arrange re delivery or collection! Now I could well have lost a very expensive item with no proof of where it has been left??
Thank you Parcelforce.. Im appalled.

Parcelforce

Terrible

I actually stopped buying cat litter from zooplus because they used Parcelforce.

The Parcelforce driver used to ask my neighbour to carry the parcels from the van because they were heavy! My neighbour is a pensioner.

The final straw was when they delivered to a local post office instead of to me - if I wanted to pick it up I wouldn't have shopped on the internet in the first place.

Trying to contact anyone there is a complete nightmare. And if you do manage to speak to a person they aren't interested, they just want to get rid of you. Their Customer Disservice department is just that.
