Wait... wait... parcels?!? This company deliver parcels?!?!? All I ever seem to recieve from them are 'Attempted Delivery' leaflets... and half the time they forget to deliver those. Quite literally watched a driver today pull into our road, reverse, and drive back out again... I felt sorry for the poor man. He must be having some sort of mental break down to intend on delivering informative, helpful literature yet forgets to even get out of his van... Then to discover that it was supposed to be a parcel arriving, not an 'Attempted Delivery' card - Imagine my surprise!! All jokes aside quite literally the worst delivery company there is. Avoid at all costs if you want a succesful delivery of your item!!!!! However, if you like to be let down, build a collection of attempted delivery cards, or thoroughly enjoy visiting your local post office or depot - look no further!
I was promised delivery on friday ,waited in all day and no delivery, called depot and was told by the supervisor it would be sent out on saturday ,I phoned saturday morning to check it had been sent out, and the item had been left at the depot ,This is the worst delivery company i have ever delt with, the staff are unhelpful and seem to resent dealing with customers.
24 express is totally a joke. I've been waitting for whole day but get nothing. Then I just tracked the package, it says "Delivery attempted" "Addressee advised to collect from Post Office"
Damn, I swear no one came. After I saw the information on website I checked my mailed box as well, it was empty, not even a note informing me this.
I think they just didn't want to delivery it.
How do they get away with taking money for a service which they do not provide???
As a consumer, I am stuck with whichever company I am buying from deciding who they will use for delivery. Why companies use Parcelforce is beyond my comprehension. Do they not realise that it reflects very badly on them also?
Their drivers do not seem to care either - "Not my problem, I'm only the driver" attitude.
This company should be investigated by trading standards.
Parcelforce have been the worst courier company for years now, so at least they are consistent.
Their postmen are apparently all illiterate as they can't read the sign I have been advised to erect (by the cheeky bast@rds at customer service) requesting them to ring the door bell. Instead they tap quietly on the door then leave immediately. Even Hussein Bolt wouldn't be able to get the door on time even if he had the hearing ability of superman to hear the tap in the first place. This has been witnessed by my neighbour on two different occassions. (Parcelforce I mean, not Hussein Bolt)
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE NOW MANY EFFICIENT COURIER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO CHOOSE FROM AND AT CHEAPER PRICES.
Sent two PC towers properley packaged and insured for travelling, also wrote on box please do not drop or throw, FATAL MISTAKE it seems that it was a red rag to a bull
because between manchester and south wales some of the Parcel Force Staff thought it would be fun to play football with.......Bunch of tossers at the head office and my insurance payment to Parcel force was not worth the paper it was written on...
NEVER EVER USE PARCEL FORCE FOR ANYTHING i wish i hade looked on here for a review before using, i will publicly tell all my customers and friends about this issue
and tell them to use anyother company for carriage...

Ordered a collection to be delivered to Scotland by 12 the next day. i was given a collection window of 2 hours and the driver who collected it was on time and very helpful....the parcel arrived in Scotland on time...excellent service......I don't know why there are so many bad reviews.....I suppose I people rarely thank a good job but moan if something goes wrong.......the must deliver thousands if parcels a day......you are bound to get a small percentage that would get damaged......that's shy they cover you parcel up to £250 if snything goes wrong......I was very happy....
Sent a passport back to my partner to enable him to fly home on Saturday, sent it global express on the Tuesday the earliest they would guarantee it for was Friday despite their website saying next day to Canada.
5 days later the passport is still in England, it has been downgraded to global priority. 5 phonecalls later no one has told me why, numerous requests for people to call me back and not one has bothered.
Partner will not make flight now, $1000 wasted on that and $1000 loss on clients for the week due to him being self employed.
NEVER use this company is it a joke go with Fedex or carrier pigeon, even message in a bottle is more likely to make it!!
Not only is the service pathetic their customer service is non existent.
I have had to process some legal documents that I require for Monday morning in Seoul. Those documents have been sitting in the International Hub in Coventry till the early hours of this morning. They were sent from Litchifield City, roughly thirty mins down the road on Thursday. It's now Saturday evening in Seoul and the documents have made it to Heathrow & it's Saturday morning in the UK. This service is the worst - sent the original documents DHL from Shanghai at a fraction of the price and they made it in three days. The service I choose should have delivered the documents by now. Going on other reviews here - don't use parcel force for IMPORTANT BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!
I won an expensive item on a radio auction, and they told me it woud arrive on next day delivery by courier. It turn out the courier they used was ParcelFarce, so naturally the item arrived 3 days late and significantly damaged. The damage itself must have been the outcome of a significant amount of force and spite because the item was packaged in multiple layers and should have been more than adequately protected.
When dealing with customer services a number of things become apparent:
1. They never take less than 2 days to reply to an email.
2. Your emails are never replied to by the same person twice
3. Your questions remain unanswered except by stock, 'cut and paste', replies which may or may not bear some sort of relationship to the question you are asking
Parcelfarce apparently have a 30 day policy, so their inability to answer an email either promptly or relevantly with regards to your question is clearly a management forced initiative to waste enough time to push people over the 30 days.
Another interesting policy is their unwillingness to deal with the recipient of an item, only with the poster.
All in all, I would mark and avoid Parcelfarce. They are an absolute bunch of criminals.
I ordered an item off ebay. It was only after paying for the item that I noticed they delivered via Parcel Force. I decided to read some reviews and unsurprisingly after coming across this website I want to confident. However Parcel Force delivered the item within 24 hours as promised and by midday which was nice. When the package came it was perfectly intact and the driver was extremely friendly. I did call them at one point to ensure the package was on its way and the service on the phone wasn't great as the guy on the other end of the line was trying to get me off the phone as quick as possible for some odd reason. To be fair this is the only time I have dealt with Parcel Force so I may have just for lucky. However, I had a pretty pleasant experience overall.
If you don't need your parcel these are the people for you. I agree with all the reviews which say they are rubbish, still waiting for a 24 hour delivery two days later
Must be a case for Trading Standards
They have not replied to any on line questions.
You have been warned
Terrible service when exporting from the USA it takes 3 days to get to the uk, 1 week to get through customs then 2 days to get a letter to say you need to pay then 2 days to deliver. UPS it takes 3 day to get to our door and sorted!
Worst! Delivery this week 24 hour promised thursday, wait in all day 6pm call them they say its still on the van will prioritize in morning, not happy but accept it. Today stay in all day even though daughter off nursery so had planned to go out, call them 9am to check its on van and they say yes and its on the way, 1pm wife spots parcel force van on next street so looking good. 6.15pm still not here. Call depot they said its on the van will call and see where he is as still out and call you back. Call them at 7.10 pm they are shut! Wasted two days and now lost £400 in sales as parts not here for weekend. Also out of my last 5 parcels I had to send with them 4 of the 24 hour ones didnt get there within 48 hours and one took 4 days and the other one was returned address unknown so sent ups who found it on a next day as always. Total waste of space unhelpful over priced crap who just cost me £400!!!!!!
Just done the same thing on the following monday!!!!!!! They finally delivered the last one on saturday afternoon with no call back apology nothing and then two parcels both seperately organised for delivery today failed to turn up, absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with for anything!!!!
I have send medical equipment for my sick family and paid as two day delivery but week later still not received. when you contact them they are very rude. please never use them. if you want 24 hours delivery you have to send it 24 years ago. Very poor communication between staff.
hi all this is my track no ec051681753gb that pack had been delivered.but think is im in flat 4 but this brainless guy came and delivered flat3 i still never get this pack now pass 2month nobody take responsibility
if u like u delivery pack, if u like to delivery right address, right person, don't work with parcel force they work out as a donkeys just do work without responsibility
think about u valid post....
This has to be the worst delivery company going , no parcel then promise of being here today , took day off . also contacted them with tracking number and told on the van and it may be up to 6pm before we get delivery , contacted again after 6pm and told parcel now back at depot , they said come and collect , but I told them I was disabled and could not lift and as this weighs around 20kg I need it delivering as I paid for that service . I have BEEN TOTALLY LET DOWN I will not use parcel force again and after checking online I found several other courier company's that were a lot cheaper even next day delivery . I urge everyone please check on line for other company's for a better service.
I used parcelforce to send a valuable item to someone on ebay. Took it to post office Friday, they informed me that it wouldn't be sent until Monday (parcelforce don't do weekends) and then would take 48 hours to arrive. Fine. Parcel arrived to recipient on Tuesday, so 24 hour delivery - Great!! Only thing is.. the parcel arrived damaged. The recipient sent me photos and the box was dirty and all battered, and the item inside managed to end up in pieces with all the electrical wires hanging out. How is this even possible through all of the packaging that I protected it with??! It should have been virtually invincible?? Had this massive hoo hah with the recipient, who insisted I pay a further £13 to send it back to her, along with her full refund for the item and original postage costs. By the time I received the item back and tried to claim, I realised that you can't claim without every single scrap of the original packaging... which naturally, with the state it was in, was already in the bin!! What a sham, now I'm left with an expensive item totally wrecked, a further £13 out of pocket, and negative feedback on ebay!! Thanks parcelforce!!
Why, oh why, does Parcelforce police themselves! Our parcel from the US which we were tracking was fine until the thieves at Parcelforce got their hands on it! Of course whilst we were waiting in for this urgently it was 'delivered' (please note the quote marks) to us and signed for by a 'MR JOE' (please note the quote marks) at 3.10 pm (our PF van comes around here religiously at 4.30-5.00pm) so I know for sure that it was not on the intended van! Tried contacting PF politely - lied to on every occasion - given wrong follow on number; told there was no flat number on the parcel (then why deliver it and who to); when asking probing questions such as may I take your name had phone put down! Ask to speak to supervisor (after 5 such calls) put on hold - then had phone put down. Try to have your parcels mailed through someone else - because even if they are signed for on receipt Parcelforce will conveniently conjure up some excuse for their theft! I would have given a 0 but there wasn't an option!
I used Parcelmonkey which, in turn, used Parcelforce to get a lost cell phone returned from London to the US. This service was flawless. The packet was picked up on time from the hotel where it was left, processed and arrived in great condition exactly one week later. And that was using their next to fastest service. Using Parcelmonkey was considerably cheaper than using Parcelforce itself, but Parcelmonkey is a wholesale processor that uses other actual services to send the package. I had several choices to use, but picked Parcelforce because it was the only one that offered insurance. I'm completely satisfied with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again based on this experience. Has I read these other reviews before I contracted the service, I might not have used them but am certainly glad I did.
I sent an expensive parcel with Parcelforce even after reading all these bad reviews. Low and behold my parcels been lost or stolen . It was picked up from my house and then apparently vanished into thin air. Customer service is a waste of time, they're just not interested in lost mail
Im not going to bore you all with details, but take heed, there is a reason for why people take the time to write bad reviews.
my parents sent me a birthday present from Germany over 24 days ago and I still haven't received it! 3 days ago I phoned Parcelforce up and they told me it's been held because the address wasn't right. so we checked it, but it was totally fine. now 3 days later I phoned them up again and they told me they don't know where my parcel is, they probably sent it back to Germany because it's been held for so long! my parents didn't get it back so far and I doubt they'll ever get it back! CRAP COMPANY!!!!
I had a parcel due for delivery before 10 am 2 hrs 20 mins later no parcel rang depot so rude and not at all helpful and still waiting for the parcel they promised call backs that never came. Still waiting outcome of complaint.

Terrible company would never use. waited for a parcel to be delivered. with no joy, tracked the parcel and they said attempted delivery ( lie) waited another day for them to deliver still nothing, Phone the premium rate number to get passed around. still no better...
parcel force as blocked my bank account so that I cant use it I hope to take them out of business by taking them to court
I ordered a new set of wedding rings on the 22nd of March I paid for international express delivery at an extra £45 the thing has been sitting in the international hub for four days and is expected to leave next week! To my local depot. I phoned after 9 days from dispatch on the 22nd and its apparently a back log and tough luck on the price. Ridiculous.

Some years ago, around 25 years, I had a member of the family working for Parcelforce and I used to get to hear about all the parcels that were stolen. The way they did this was as they were loading their vans they would take a parcel from the driver/deliverer next to them so as not to be the one who had an undelivered item.
I imagine this probably still goes on nowadays. At the time I probably knew of a few dozen times this happened in a short space of time. Beware!!!
Card left on 13th and on same day I arranged redelivery online for 15th . Request ignored by parceforce and my parcel taken to a post office (not local) in a' shady area' . I work out of town getting home after PO closed so advised customer services of my limited availability to wait in at home on numerous occasions all ignored with parcelforce attempting redelivery again on a day when I was at work.. Given a phone number of local depot to resolve by customer services. All email as this is only source of contact. This number was an automated redelivery service requesting £12 to redeliver on a saturday as I am now out of town on a weekday for next 10 days. Needless to say I have now given up and asked sender to make a claim for an undelivered parcel. Just too much time consuming hassle and still no parcel.
They came through for me on 3 different occasions now and nothing has gone wrong, the order came on time twice but delayed once. i got a refund for the delayed package.
There seems to be a lot of negative reviews but luckily i haven't had a bad experience with them and will continue to use their service.
5/5, 5 Stars
Trying to get them to ring when they are in the area is impossible. The delivery address is to a holiday let and I don't wish to alter their route or interfere with their schedule but would appreciate a call as several people in the village or next village will get to the cottage to give them access. Not their policy, but they are willing to make a journey of a minimum of 60 miles again. Maybe if they implemented a common sense policy they could reduce their prices on the amount of fuel and man hours they paid for. Very poor customer service!
I paid £30 for 2 parcels to go from Glasgow to london within 48hours, a week later and it still isn't here. Customer scervice agent was rude and had a couldn't care less attitude. I'm sending all my parcels via collect plus from now on an not using these cowboys !!!
I went to leave for work this morning and noticed a card on the floor saying a delivery attempt had been made. They obviously didn't attempt very hard (in that they didn't bother to knock or ring the door bell). I was in the front room at the time of the delivery.
I called them to complain, they called the driver who agreed to drop the delivery off within the next hour. I called work to tell them I'd be an hour late as I had to wait in for parcelforce. 2 hours later still no sign of the van.
Rather than attempt another delivery, I'll try and pick the item up from the depot.
I've had similar issues with them in the past. I can't actually recall them ever delivering something successfully to my house!
Edit: The TV did turn up in the evening, luckily someone was in to collect it! So upped their rating.
Only one delivery attempt made, then sent to Post Office (not the local one). No attempt to leave with neighbours, or return to depot for redelivery, or try again the following day.
Customer services give bland cut n paste responses, and despite assurances that the depot will respond - don't.
Refusal to answer local rate phone calls at depot (hang up), trying to enforce national rate 0844 usage.
Not the first time that I have had a similar experience with Parcelfarce

I wouldnt even give them 1 star they fall well into negative stars like -3 or -4 but thats not an option.
Ive had 3 experiences with parcel farce as follows
1 someone sent me something using parcel force and it dissapered from the face of the earth a genuine mulder and scully case cost me £70 from ebay but its ok they gave £1.50 worth of stamps the next time i want to use their useless service.
2 I sent something to a freind nothing to expensive and guess what that also just vanished without a trace no explanantion but defo wasnt nicked or anything they have systems in place you know!! (sponteneosly combusted, abducted by aliens, fell from the van into the abyss)
3 some one sent something to me and despite me asking not to use royal mail / parcel force they ignored my request and went for the cheap option, 8 days later still not arrived the item was 20 miles away the closest depot to me is 8 miles away but still no explanation pretty much just told me it will be there when its there!!!!
What i dont get is how parcels just go missing they have an address on it??? anything with an address on it pretty much never gets lost thats why you have dog collars or if found please return to..... they always come back the only time they dont is when someone picks it up and dosent send it off so in my opinion somebody must have it somewhere and if they are hldng it when it dosent belong to them then they have stolen it surly???
in short never ever ever use parcel force to send anythng if your using ebay it might be cheaper but if it does get lost youll end up paying someone back for an item they bought but never recieved for using an inferior postal company.
