I have used ParcelHero 3 times in 3 months, however had issues twice! My current issue is that almost 2 weeks ago, I arranged for Parcelhero(by UPS) to collect anf deliver a Mitre Saw, however this was damaged.
Even thoguh I paid extra for the insurance, ParcelHero is not being proactive to chase UPS to get them to collect the damaged item, per their own requirments. Additionally, ParcelHero is in breach of financial regulations, as they are acting as an agent of UPS selling insurance, yet are unable/unwilling to confirm which insurance company is underwriting the insurance I purchased - a legal requirement.
Note: Parcelhero is itself not regulated, however as an agent of a company selling insurance the agent is required by law to inform a policyholder as to who the underwriter is.
I would never recommend ParcelHero, due to their extreamly poor service when things go wrong. I am frustrated by their lack of action and am considering taking them to the small claims court to recover the lost funds for the damaged goods and lack of care in delivery (which is what they claim to offer the best standards in).
