I was told I would save money if I bought a paris pass .
I bought myself one and my son . The first issues we had us our travel cards did not work so I needed to buy another two.
I then was told we did not need to queue in certain attractions which turned out to be not the case .
The money I spent on the passes cost me more money than if I had just paid to get in desperately .
We only managed to attend 3 attractions as we had to queue for over an hour . If we had just ran in and out and didn't actually stay to really spend quality time in each attraction then we may have seen the main attractions but there would be no point of that as the main purpose for being there is to visit these wonderful attractions and actually take time to see them.
I spend over £140 on my pass which if I had just paid to go in to these places I would have spent £30
A complete waste if money and I'm yet to see if I can get a refund .
I had to pay for my son to get in to the science museum as his pass did not work.
The hop on bus failed to pick us up from
A few bus stops even tho we waited and waited.
They only go in one direction which means you have To go back on yourself . The bus stops were hard to find and not clearly stated . They are also a long walks way from each other .
I feel that the claims they make are completely false and I would not waste your money ..
I've been told of Paris Pass by a workmate.
I'm happy I followed the advice and I'm glad to turn the counsel to those are reading this post.
The Paris Pass is usefull and makes the touring easier. If you are planning to visit the most important Paris musuems it's also convenient.
Le meilleur choix pour profiter de Paris, l'entrée directe dans les musées, métro, malheureusement dans mon pays (Brésil) noo grandes villes ont ce système pour rendre la vie plus facile pour le touriste. Félicitations à Paris Pass.
This was the best investment we made on coming to Paris-not only did we get the metro travel that we required, but the time saving on the entrance to the sites we wanted to see and the free cruise on the river made this a holiday to remember.
We recommend that anyone coming to Paris get the Pass-yo u will not regret it and will bless the savings not only in cash but in time as well.
My husband I went to Paris in January 2013 and I got a six-day pass for me and a four-day pass for my husband (he was on a partial business trip). This saved us SO much time and it was easy to use - no need to buy tickets at tourist destinations and/or metro tickets. It was awesome. I HIGHLY recommend this pass if you're going to be in the city for a while. I saw SOO much and did SO much more because of this pass - gave me some great ideas to fully plan our trip.
I was traveling to Paris for one week from Australia via Switzerland (Jan 2013) - how was I going to see it all?
I found The Paris Pass online and even though it was 10 months before I left I thought I would try it. Ordering online was easy and the actual pass and full guide arrived in record time.
Using it in Paris was easy. Access to everything I wanted to see and let me get to the front of the line at a lot of venues. The map was a god send, the train pass used daily and the guide review was spot on.
I would definitely recommend this to any visitor to Paris - new or old.
Paris Pass is a wonderful way to see the highlights of Paris...with no lines and lots of information. From the overview of the city in the double-decker bus and the bateau bus to the Eifel Tower and the Louvre...easy and unique ways of seeing the sights.
Paris Pass provides ideal access to the essence of this world destination -- especially valuable if you’re a newcomer to the city.
Earlier this year, my daughter and I rendezvoused in Paris for a week-plus stay, found a great place to lodge in the Latin Quarter, and frequently relied on the package, when we weren’t just wandering and exploring. Even then, the Paris Pass maps provided an easy-to-grasp trajectory to neighborhoods of choice.
When planning my trip to Paris, I made a list of everything I wanted to see and do. After finding the Paris Pass, this list grew exponentially. There were so many more options and I tried to see them all. While we were waiting for our time to experience the Eiffel Tower, we were able to check out the Sewer Museum. Instead of only experiencing Notre Dame from inside the cathedral, we were able to visit the Crypt as well as climb the towers to see the gargoyles. I am really glad I purchased the Paris Pass to make my first visit to Paris full of adventures!
Buying stuff over the internet is risky business, but you can trust Paris Pass to deliver! I bought the Paris pass for our family of 4, for our December 2012 Paris trip. We only had 2 full days in Paris and I wanted to be as organised as possible and jump as many queues as possible so that we could do and see all that we wanted to do. The book, cards and train tickets were delivered and we had lots of time to read up, plan our trip and research on how things worked. We never had a single problem. Being December the queues were not bad but the jump to the front still saved us time. There was a huge queue at the George Pompadou Centre, so our cards came in really helpful - but in hindsight it would have been better to give it a skip and go elsewhere. The free boat trip was definitely worth it, we thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all, we probably didn't end up saving a lot of money but we made good use of our pass - especially on the underground. If we go to Paris again...I would buy the Paris Pass again too. :)
I hate line and the Paris pass made them a thing of the past. Got into everything fast. Saw all the high points of any trip to Paris and there was even more I didn't get to. Even got more than expected at some sites (maps and audio guides) Metro pass was a great addition. I would use it again in Paris and would think of it's sister passes in other cities.
Cancelled my online transaction for no apparent reason and didn't even bother informing me about it. The day before I flew to Paris my pass didn't arrive and I called them up and was only told of the news then. Had to make a super long trouble to the office in Paris to get the pass personally.
This is a total rip off! Travelling in Paris by public transport is cheap!!!! you can by day bus pass for under €3!!! and buy your own museum pass is much cheaper than pay over £100 for two day Paris pass which you really have no time to go to over 60 museums!!!! It is extremely unconvenice to pick up this Paris Pass that the office has got no proper signboard but hidden inside behind other building !!! By the time you got to the office already cost you extra money! DON'T BUY PARIS PASS
I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Paris and will always look for something similar when visiting other cities.
Quick and easy to use and no need to stand in lines and get nice discounts on certain shops if you can get to them. The transport is very helpful. Needs more for food
We had the 6 day Paris pass and would recommend it to anyone on their first visit to Paris.
I spent four days in Paris and purchased the Paris Pass plus metro ticket. What a great investment. Every museum, place of interest or activity that I visited was included. It was great - thoroughly recommend the investment and the metro pass was brilliant.
The Company's stated policy is that a refund is given should the customer want to return his Paris Pass .It was sent to London for refund . They did not refund the Pass saying it was bought in Paris and they mailed it back to me on Sept 11th. It still has not reached me . Nor is the Paris office answering how I can get a refund .
There is a problem with the Cos clearly stated policy of giving refunds without hassles .

The ease and convenience of using the Paris Pass made the trip to Paris a great experience. Over the week using it, the only things not covered by the pass was the train ride to Versailles and acess to the Eiffel Tower. Brilliant. And dont be afraid of the Paris Mertro, it was a breeze getting around using it with teh free assess from the Paris Pass.
The Paris Pass was easy to order on-line and was received promptly. In addition to the pass itself, the accompanying information was super. The pass itself was accepted by all without question.
All-in-all, the Paris Pass added greatly to our vacation. And very good value for its price.
Don't visit Paris without it!
Scheduled all our visits in order to maximise the sites we decided to visit. This was in fact all, apart from the Opera House which had some opening restrictions, unfortunately. The Pass was great for use on the public transport: Bus. Boat and rail and we enjoyed that and the ease with which we could get on and off.
Our experience was not good. But I think it had more to do, with the fact that we were only there for a week, rather than a much longer time frame.we did not get the opportunity to use the card as much as it would have been necessary 2 make the Paris Pass worthwhile.also, there are some major venues, where it is not useful. For example, the Eiffel Tower and the parapets and bell tower of Notre Dame. I think that if I had been there for a longer time, I would have had the opportunity to go to enough museums, etc., to make it financially viable. As it stands other than the hop on hop off bus and a couple of museumsand the Metro pass that comes with the pass. It was being a lot of money for not a tremendous amount of usefulness.
I felt you only get your moneys worth if you visit ALL the museums and art galleries etc.. When I add up all the attractions I visited, it was well below the price of the paris pass. With the pass, I visited notre dame bell tower (line up for over an hour), seine cruise, louvre, arc de triomphe, opera garnier tour, hop on hop off bus tour, paris metro pass, musee grevin, musee de quai branly & musee dali... These were all quite cheap to purchase direct and wish I had of done that... The only positive was we didn't have to line up for the louvre... we nearly missed the opera garnier tour 'as there weren't enough english speaking tour guides' I think the pass should be much cheaper as I think im out of pocket by at least 50 euro per pax... I purchased 2 x paris pass
Although we are frequent visitors to Paris, the Paris pass guidebook offered a host of new and exciting venues made more accessible through the discounts and fast lane access.
We took the 3 day pass for a five day break and were delighted to find the travel ticket worked on our last day too - another bonus. Ordering was easy online and the delivery in advance added to our anticipation.........just brilliant
From start to finish this was so good value. Ordering was easy and came in plenty of time before our weekend away. In all fairness, you do have to do your homework and plan to get best value from the Pass. Having been twice before we decided to go for the more 'unusual' attractions including wine tasting and the wax works. Being able to use it on the tram system gets you around the city quicker and we felt that it was so much better being able to skip the queues and not waste time at the more popular venues. Have used in Barcelona / Madrid and Dublin - only way to see a city.
I had a fantastic time in Paris, which was partly thanks to the Paris Pass. The staff at the Paris collection point were very polite and helpful despite my lack of French! The pass was simple to use and included extra information to help my navigation and enjoyment of the great city.
I would highly recommend people to use the Paris Pass. It was a money saver, time saver and improved my holiday.
My family I thoroughly enjoyed the flexibility of the Paris Pass, which gave us access to almost all the key attractions in Paris. The only thing we felt was the inconvenience of locating and collecting the Paris Pass. First thing was we were all first time visitors to Paris, therefore finding our way around is not as easy as it seems. It would be best if the Passes could be sent to our hotels and collected from there instead.
We were glad to have the Paris Pass and would use one again the future. The metro card, the guide with maps and all the details and info in one place helped us to choose our best options in this lovely city. Glad I grabbed it.
